I have a 2022 Hydroblue TRX and from what you are saying this is a dummed down version! The only highlights are the ADA Handsfree and passenger Screen. Both TRX and RHO look identical to the normal person. Ain’t no way I am trading in my TRX in the best color (Hydro Blue as your comment and pause suggested ) for an RHO, but I hope those who have the RHO enjoy it . Hopefully they haven’t had a TRX before.. ✌🏾

Haha it’s pretty obvious… content for his channel. He’s been making videos about the RHO since the initial announcement of its release. I imagine he’s extremely excited to take that long roadtrip after the long wait since his initial order submission.
Out of curiosity, what did you replace it with? I imagine it’s a hard vehicle to replace as most other vehicles would likely seem like a bit of a downgrade. That’s the reason I’ve never test driven one. I have the money but it’s a significantly larger amount of money than I wish to pay right now. I know if I were to test drive one, it would be in my garage that night 😅. So I’ll likely test drive the RHO which of course is a bit cheaper.
@ always been a Raptor guy, so I ended up buying a Raptor R. I loved the TRX though, but it did have some electrical gremlins which is why it was at the dealership getting the BCM replaced when it got stolen.
I will have a better answer on this after I tow with RHO. Raptor R is amazing truck....but I was starting to have a few issues that were annoying me (hot start issues, shock corrosion) and towing both our trailers...this will be hard to understand for most, I didnt like how it towed. I need to make a video on this. I tow long distances and the R will now allow the exhaust valve to stay in quiet mode when towing, and it couldnt hold 9th or 10th gear, so it would be screaming RPMs and after about an hour of it I got kind of tired of it. If I never towed anything, I might still have it. I recently talked about this a little bit on the Bronco Raptor towing video.

Congrats! The truck still hasn't won me over, I can't forget the V8 powertrain so quickly but I do plan on continuing to watch the videos on this and we'll see, maybe I'll get one of these a few years down the road instead of a TRX.
Very impressive truck and power. It was out of my budget, but I took the Laramie loaded and I have to say, the best ride out there among all trucks as of today. hands down to the new RAM.
@ it looks nice, but by the time you put 2, 3 or 4 people and any cargo in it, your payload is gone before you even hook anything up to it. Probably not worth even putting a hitch on it. I use my trucks for towing and hauling. To me, it makes no sense paying out the ass on a truck you can’t haul or load anything into.

The RHO IMO is a bit late in the game for this market in 2025. I am just wondering where the REV is? And why did they push back the launch of the REV? It seems that RAM has a habit of engineering their products out of existence by studying a customer they are out of touch with and that is all on them and not the US consumer. Yea Dodge sadly blew the whole Charger EV thing last month, but the Wagoner S EV looks like it will fly on its own. That CEO they fired in Europe did some damage to the brand in the US market. I was really looking forward to buying my RAM pick up in 2024, but the RAM product line up in 2024 did not generate any excitement for me, so I left my RAM aspirations last summer and found my pick up truck at Chevrolet with the Silverado RST. I did not settle, RAM offered nothing to compete with. At least Ford had something competitive to look at. The Chevy works like a bulldog, and RAM missed the boat with me.
I think RHO will steal a bunch of potential Raptor customers in 2025, but I would bet Ford is going to answer back. REV is the game changer! I can not wait for it to come out!
Any dealer that does “market pricing” is a crook. OEMs sell to all dealers at the same price, so anything above MSRP is just pure greed. That’s one dealer I know I’d never go to. Money aside, looks like a great truck! I don’t think I’d ever trade in my Raptor 37 for this but nice to see some competition.

I deliver parts to Chrysler Dodge Ram dealers, I will be curious to see if it holds up better than the 3.0l that is in the wagoneer and the other RAM pickups.. The mechanics said they have been terrible.
He is lying or they don't sell many. I can care less. I just know what many of the mechs have said. Many engines have been delivered. So think whatever you want.
@@robertchapman4488 Great point, I am yet to hear of any dealer work on a Ram 1500 Hurricane, most the issues I have heard have been on the 23/24 Wagoneer/Grand wagoneer. I have spoken to over 20 dealer service departments so far and I have not gotten one to say they have worked on a water pump/thermostat or any hurricane related problems (lots of ram 1500 problems) just none specific to the hurricane engine. Time will tell!

@ thankfully I have had zero issues. 17k miles on the clock in one year and it has been great! I just change the oil between 4-5k miles.
