Great to see them doing the ZF transmissions. Nothing like having all the gears to keep such a big heavy vehicle moving at its maximum pace. The under floor turbo kit looks like a well made item. Just the fact that Adam has made jigs rather than a free hand copy of a master shows the level of professionalism all concerned are using. If I ever get a spare 300k just burning a hole im my pocket I know where I am heading.
Better than a barra. More displacement, makes more power without doing anything to it than you can make with a stock internals barra. Idk why people compare 50k engines to $4k engines. Ofcourse the 50k engine with way more displacement and 2 more cylinders will be better
If i had to guess they did it for weight distribution to the rear wheels. I've seen people do it and help their 60' but beyond that i dont think having it down would help most people will just pull the whole tailgate off if anything
Pardon my French, but holy fuck yeah my favorite of both worlds!!! Bro knows wtf is up…I don’t think they coulda picked any better of platforms to run with twin charging!!! Uber badass!! lol
Probably couldn't hurt to diversify. With the parent company of Dodge, Ram, Chrysler and Jeep being Stellantis, and with reduced global sales and an 8% share price drop over 2024 it might eventuate that parts supply for these brands could become severely impacted over the next 5 years. As much as there are positive projections for the Stellantis share price over the next two years and they have the plan to diversify further into ev tech for 2030 it can be fair to imagine that Dodge, Ram, Chrysler and Jeep, especially in Australia with limited sales, may come to suffer more so in time.
The Ram DT 1500 are breaking chassis around the rear coil towers, doing towing duties. Monster Offroad does an engineered chassis bracing kit, are you doing any chassis mods for the increased power?
@@DukeOfTwist The thing weighs ~3 tonnes - do you actually think dropping the tailgate makes any kind of difference whatsoever? Especially considering the weight is still attached to the chassis at the same points (so the mass of the tailgate is still pushing down at the same point!)

Its called compound charging, by adding extra atmospheric air pressure into the superchargers compressor you can gain higher boost without increasing the parasitic loss. Love to know just how on earth do the factory piston gaps go with twin turbo and then supercharged as well, when your supposed to gap the rings to a point based on boost, otherwise IMHO those piston rings will let go faster than you can do the 1/4 mile, again i know its the tune, but then again, unless the piston gaps are done right, your asking for trouble, but then again the factory may had them done right because they know people will boost them up? cheers and good luck. Engine in TRX is supercharged from Factory therefore ring gap are set for boost. Others do stacked pulley's to increase boost but that also increases parasitic loss, where as compound charging with turbos feeding into the supercharger provides extra atmospheres for the supercharger to compress. Under driving the supercharger can actually make gains.
