It turns out that Scarecrow's plan ended up working in Bruce's favor. Somehow he was able to modify his toxin to genetically influence the manic behavior of potential criminals. I can't think of a more logical retirement.

Each Supervillain has an achievement for completing their mission. Riddler’s mission has the lowest completion. After reading the comments here, and after getting all the trophies myself, it’s not hard to see why. 243 trophies/challenges is way, way, WAY too many. Especially since you have to find/interrogate Riddler’s men to even know where the trophies even are and THEN they’re not always easy to find because of how they appear on the map. Then there’s actually figuring out how to actually GET them. Riddler’s quest likely takes more time to complete than the main story and all other quests COMBINED. It’s WAY too much work. Still, it was cathartic to finally beat the crap out of Riddler.
If the enemies forces in this game only had a woman with personality disorder and a normal pistol instead of giant brutes, giant brutes with gatling guns, highly trained soldiers with machine guns, automatic turrets, an army of almost indestructible tanks controlled by a super soldier, giant drones with heavy firepower, ninjas, a fear gas bomb and the former student of Batman who dedicaded his life to kill batman, than the future would have looked bleak for gotham

If they had made collecting the trophies/solving the riddles like they had in Asylum, done. Easy. Couldn't be arsed with the way they did it in Knight though.
For those who don’t bother with Riddler, it is understandable why. His challenges are tedious and can be downright frustrating at times, especially when he’s mocking you for failing, but it is very satisfying punching the daylights out of him and beating him at his own game once again. And all that hard work really pays off, especially when Batman looks over the city for one last time, knowing that Gotham is safe and with the player knowing that they earned this ending.
One of the ulockable costumes that didnt make it into the game is the Knightmare Batman suit, which foreshadowed Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League (a really somewhat dissapointing everyone has borderlands style gun damage game) Another suit was potentially batmans arkham origins suit without a mask, looks awesome honestly but not the iconic batman we know. I still think the arkham origins suit is the best arkham suit, one the live action movies should use. Im not sure what Bruce Wayne's plan was in the end of arkham, i think it could have opened up a Batman Beyond Arkham game/story with terry. But it appears they faked bruce waynes death.. could have faked Bruce's injuries to making him wheelchair bound allowing him to still be Batman in secret. This ending doesnt really make any sense if Batman was going to continue being Batman considering he completely revealed himself as Batman on camera. But it still could have opened up a Batman Beyond arkham storyline, where bruce clones himself after faking his death. Gotham Knights is a different story universe but it kind of seems like a alternative storyline to arkham batman. Then there's the suicide squad game which is allegedly the same timeline and universe as arkham knight which is... i have no opinion yet because i haven't seen the story but it does seem dissapointing. Really seems like rocksteady threw away the opportunity to potentially make a Batman beyond game, i wonder if theyll ever make another game series... could do a darker serious spiderman maybe spiderman Noir, could do a superman game or the justice league with the flash and wonderwoman, could even do a The Watchmen game. I suppose out of all the games they could do, id be most interested in a serious Spiderman Noir game or a The Watchmen game.... i just dont think anyone can make a better superman game than the "ehhh its alright" superman returns game... and the best flash game we have is a arkham knight mod... but seeing how arkham knight plays, they could definitely do well with a serious spiderman noir or a serious watchmen game. Rocksteady could probably do a lot. That pvp mode in arkham origins was successful, i imagine a rocksteady dc universe would be like a super-gta5 online.

I really can't recommend watching this scene. it's just sad what rocksteady has become thanks to _Sweet Baby Inc._ (you're welcome to look into this rabbithole). but I've heard that they are already planning to revive him in one of the next season (live service game) to milk the cow even longer🥴

If they had made collecting the trophies/solving the riddles like they had in Asylum, done. Easy. Couldn't be arsed with the way they did it in Knight though.

For those who don’t bother with Riddler, it is understandable why. His challenges are tedious and can be downright frustrating at times, especially when he’s mocking you for failing, but it is very satisfying punching the daylights out of him and beating him at his own game once again. And all that hard work really pays off, especially when Batman looks over the city for one last time, knowing that Gotham is safe and with the player knowing that they earned this ending.

Surely batman is alive, the reason Alfred sounded sad when asking bruce was because they blew up the house they both grew up in
One of the ulockable costumes that didnt make it into the game is the Knightmare Batman suit, which foreshadowed Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League (a really somewhat dissapointing everyone has borderlands style gun damage game)
Another suit was potentially batmans arkham origins suit without a mask, looks awesome honestly but not the iconic batman we know.
I still think the arkham origins suit is the best arkham suit, one the live action movies should use.
Im not sure what Bruce Wayne's plan was in the end of arkham, i think it could have opened up a Batman Beyond Arkham game/story with terry. But it appears they faked bruce waynes death.. could have faked Bruce's injuries to making him wheelchair bound allowing him to still be Batman in secret.
This ending doesnt really make any sense if Batman was going to continue being Batman considering he completely revealed himself as Batman on camera.
But it still could have opened up a Batman Beyond arkham storyline, where bruce clones himself after faking his death.
Gotham Knights is a different story universe but it kind of seems like a alternative storyline to arkham batman. Then there's the suicide squad game which is allegedly the same timeline and universe as arkham knight which is... i have no opinion yet because i haven't seen the story but it does seem dissapointing.
Really seems like rocksteady threw away the opportunity to potentially make a Batman beyond game, i wonder if theyll ever make another game series... could do a darker serious spiderman maybe spiderman Noir, could do a superman game or the justice league with the flash and wonderwoman, could even do a The Watchmen game.
I suppose out of all the games they could do, id be most interested in a serious Spiderman Noir game or a The Watchmen game.... i just dont think anyone can make a better superman game than the "ehhh its alright" superman returns game... and the best flash game we have is a arkham knight mod... but seeing how arkham knight plays, they could definitely do well with a serious spiderman noir or a serious watchmen game. Rocksteady could probably do a lot. That pvp mode in arkham origins was successful, i imagine a rocksteady dc universe would be like a super-gta5 online.
