As for the clutch slave cylinder, it's not the manufacture, but the seals they are supplied with, the black goo is from the seals. Find local supplier of seals you trust and replace them. All manufacturers are finding that the supplied parts are inferior quality, after they have failed...
As a life long Land Rover fan, who doesn't have one, your videos are like porn to me. Every time you show something new I think, yeah I'll want that on my build, so I have to wait until I can get all of it when i roll up and order my build.
Hi Mahker team. What's your thoughts on treating the chassis with Dinatrol? I had my 90 done a few years ago and it still looks great. But I'm wondering about the capillary action that some under sealing processes produced. Not sure if Dinatrol does the same?! What is the product you use? Is it a paint or more like Raptor?
I have just swapped a clutch master cylinder for my son who has seen the light and bought a 1999 110 TD5. New master cylinder was not working properly (Delphi unit from LR Parts). Turns out the pushrod retaining washer held in place by circlip has twisted out of shape and the pushrod is not seating properly! Another new master cylinder and, finger crossed, it's behaving for now, although as Dave mentions in the video, bleeding this system is a bitch with the stupid pipe run. Dave, if you get anywhere with a stainless clutch hydraulic pipe that doesn't run up and over the bulkhead please do a video on it. One customer right here.
i think i hurd someone say its the rubber degrading in the mastercylinder i think as well the piston goes to far and eats the seal i had the same problem

Good to see some nice puma mods. It will run forever now.
Have you put under glow kits on for customers before???
You can fit those prerunner shocks on the original shock mounts?

Loving your defender content but you’ve got some nice looking Range Rover Classics in your intro sequences. Will we see them in the workshop soon?

More 8HP - M57 please!
I am not an expert but just a simple Ch-Eng all ships no limitations try Harley Davidson Silicon brake fluid should leave the the seals intact
Where's the series gone?
