FYI…you have the bottom shelf upside down. I did the same thing when I was assembling mine until I looked at a picture online. Every single Blackstone has the shelf with the lip facing up. You’re definitely not alone in making this mistake. 🤦🏼♀️ The instructions aren’t the clearest regarding that.

Looking at the bottom of the griddle plate this looks like the new omnivore griddle plate? If so is this the 36k btu version or the 60k btu? Any idea what you are getting for max temps?
Reason I ask is I have a 22" adventure series with folding stand I would like to be our dedicated rv blackstone and replace it with a 36" for home so I don't have to swap. We raise beef and do a LOT of steaks and our 22" hits 670+ degrees and 740ish degrees with homemade wind guards installed which is amazing for a sear on steaks. The highest temps have been seeing on the 36k omnivore plate is upper 500's in their hotspots. Makes me wonder if I should look for a 60k btu instead.
Isn’t your bottom shelf installed upside down? The pics have it resting on top of the bars.
Just got mine literally today and this video is the second one I watched the first was 2 mins not helpful! The music you used kept me watching felt like I was watching a superhero lol awesome yard and great video thanks for including the seasoning part I can’t wait to set mine up !!!

One thing is if you’re doing it by yourself when the grill is upside down the legs don’t stay up for you to secure that middle shelf so you need to put something there to keep them from falling that was the most annoying part of this build lol

A man that reads assembly instructions...OH MY... Great looking grill in a heavenly setting, someone in the family knows how to present flowers, gorgeous.
I learned a long time ago to just read the instructions follow step by step and don’t skip around. This thing was a breeze compared to putting together my sawmill🤣

30 minutes or less for assembly? Maybe for a NASCAR pit crew and then only if they had done it before and had all the parts laid out.
Wish you would’ve explained everything as you were doing it. Like the wheels and lock washers but with everything in general too
Just got the same one for fathers day. Ive heard i can and cant use water to steam and clean. Whats your opinion ? It seems it would help
I’ve used water to steam clean then coated with vegetable oil after that. Seems to work great for me!

@@TreeHaven Thank you. I picked up model 2256 (60000 btu with hood) from Costco last night. They had it $100 off at the store so it was only $72 more for more btu's. Looking forward to learning to use it and cooking videos on it.

The only thing i would recomend to everyone is Loctite or a dab of nail polish on the threads if you dont have loctite handy
