I know most people think I'm nuts but I love winter! Especially now since I'm retired. But seriously, There's something mystical and magical about a snow storm. I love winter it is a source of comfort for me, it makes me feel safe. I love getting my house cosy, lighting the fire and some candles. Putting my pj's on and sitting down with a nice warm drink and watch a movie while the wind and rain beats off my window outside.

Thanks I've been dealing with a mean female bully who lives next door. She stays up all night long literally playing weird sounds trying to make Me as miserable as she is. Love it and love winter so much like i dont know.. and i have those childhood memories when i went to my countryside village on winter vacations.. coldness, sound of woods burning in fireplace and that red glowing of it in darkness.. windy sounds and barking of dogs on the background.. oh god how i miss it.. it was something magical🥺
So I’m pregnant and I get horrible nausea and someway somehow listening to cold 🥶 like very cold sounds makes me feel better! I can’t stand the heat or anything like heavy food I can only do fresh cold 🥶 icy fruits and water and stuff like that obviously I get my protein in and vitamins but omg this helps so much hahaha replay all day! 🤣

The comfort and security we get from snow storms and thunderstorms comes from our very early ancestors confident in the knowledge that just as they are hunkered down, so are the predators. Everybody got to chill and relax during storms. This one has been among my very favorites for some time.

I actually did see snow in Northern Florida when I was at a Boy Scout jamboree twice. The first time it was actual snow and it was so cold I had to double layer my clothes and use socks as mittens. The 2nd time the scout masters brought a truck full of artificial snow for a massive snowball fight.... I miss that jamboree....

This is by far the best when it comes to treating my tinnitus, therapeutic and calming. I focus on the howling wind, with 2 speakers on a shelf above my head my bedroom sounds like the old fashioned winter storms I grew up accustomed to in northern Newfoundland. My bedroom is in the basement so room temperature is actually below room temperature. I turn on my mattress warmer about an hour before bedtime. It's all part of my sleepy time preparations Thank you so much for this. Peace

Oh I love this one. Now that’s a serious blizzard. I hope we get a snowstorm in Louisville later this year, but right now it’s blazing 🥵 I never knew so many people loved winter time until I start listening to these snowstorms.
I close my eyes and pretend to be stuck inside of a tiny cabin(during the storm)in the middle of the wilderness and all by myself.
I picture it being just a little nippy inside(from a draft,due to the winter storm),while a small fire crackles,under a stone fireplace,as an empty caldron sits above it,waiting for something to be cooked inside of it.
I picture being in a perfectly sized bed for one,with thick blankets and 2 fluffy pillows.
I picture having enough food and hot beverages,to get me by until the winter storm passes.
I picture being the only person out here,all except for the animals that lurk beyond the outside land.
This helps me to fall asleep❤

I was born in 1947 and when I was just over a year old, the huge NY City snowstorm hit.
We were all snowed in for four or more days! The city was almost totally paralyzed for a week. People had to burn their refuse and people ran out of food before they could get out
But we werent in any kind of "calming" or "sleep inducing"

Snowstorms meant struggles to get to work and lots of car crashes. Which we kids got to look at and comment on. Sometimes making the car owners furious. We enjoyed the days off from school and
of course snow meant as much mayhem as we could cause including ICE ball fights
and embedding fireworks in the snow etc...hey, this was Brooklyn in the 1950's not no kind of Norman Rockwell small America...and we as kids loved every moment of
of the snow mayhem we endlessly engaged it....
This is the first video I've seen with no tiny glitches that keep me awake and I love the wind my fave thankyou.
