3.7 Duratec Crate engine oil testing up through 20K miles what was the break in like?

This brand new Ford 3.7 Duratec crate engine was installed in the 2011 Ford Edge SEL AWD replacing a blown up 3.5 duratec due to waterpump failure. This is the history of the break in from Zero miles to 20,000 miles of usage. Follow along on how the engine is breaking in with 5W30 and 10W30 synthetic engine oil using purolator boss oil filters.
