What an adventure! The Merkava 2 tank is an interesting gate guardian, I only saw antique Shermans or T-55s that looked like Swiss cheese after target practice! It must be the best feeling in the world expecting a rough night outside but finding a lovely place to stay instead! 🎉🥂🤗

Wow thank you for your awesome comment, it’s nice to know the name of the tank we saw 👍🏼 the campsite was an awesome find and we had a very comfortable night in the tepee 😊

Great commentary through the desert. A little uncertainty in the military zone but what an oasis camp site find. I would stay for a day or two. Friendly man, hsppy doggie and beautiful peacock.

It's nice to know there is water and compost toilets in some of the campsites. Those didn't exist 5 years ago.

There has been a lot of work from the government to put in water tanks and compost toilets. They want more people to hike the Israel trail and looks like they are planning to put more water tanks in the future. There are still a few sections where you need to buy water from a private water cache.

Pretty sure those chains are for causing premature detonation of rockets and shit.

Interesting, definitely some sort of protection. It was cool to get up close to a tank. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

@@RyansNextAdventure If you ever come back to try and hike the Golan Trail (although now is not a good time for that TBH) - I made a map of all the old tanks i can remember. www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1K3PimID9C5fvfSNIMLsvkvKalGyp69Y&ouid=106694899501589377840&usp=drive_link

Could those tracks in the sand be a lizzard?

Possibly, but when I saw them loop and turn very sharply made me guess a snake. Not 100% sure but my best guess is snake tracks. Thanks for watching my friend 👍🏼
