I made focaccia for the first time a couple weeks ago and called it beginners luck.. I make bread a lot but focaccia was a first and it was *Fun*.. going to try this one soon.. thanks
I’m an old fashioned baker. I like to see a printed recipe! And if we take it to share “just take a copy of the directions!” It would be nice if there were printed directions.
Just a quick question; when pan is removed from oven, do you remove bread from pan onto cooling rack.. or does the Focaccia cool in the pan?? Thanks..!! 🙂
Focaccia came out great. Please clarify, recipe on KA site states 3 tablespoons of olive oil for the dough. You measure 2 tablespoons. Also, which kind of salt do you use, kosher or sea or table. Thank you.
hi rashida. glad you liked the recipe! the companion recipe for this video is on our website not KAF's. it's 2 tbsp olive oil. how2heroes.com/videos/dessert-and-baked-goods/no-fuss-focaccia
You advocate weighing the ingredients', as one should, but then you pop off with "7/8ths of an ounce"?! My scale doesn't do fractions. For Heavens sake use metric measurements.
American units are insane. Just transition to the metric system, which doesn't require doing any math or having to remember how much of what goes into what. 1 kilogram = 1000 grams. 1 liter = 1000 milliliter. It's all in the name. '1 cup' or '1 ounce' means nothing to me.
All of these recipes from King Arthur are really good and further my understanding of how to make bread. Thanks
Thank you so much for posting this, it comes out amazing. I now make it almost weekly and bring it to all of the parties.

Thank you for replying. I have made it twice and it comes out perfect. I am not sure of the salt. Is it kosher salt?
yes kosher but it really doesn't matter
Is that a jelly roll size pan? It looks smaller than 1/2 sheet pan.
Terry Pogue 9” x 13”
Hold ....She Add Yeast With Salt together ?? Does't not Work ..king Arthur is the best flour in USA .
I just asked that also Salt kills the yeast if added in with it etc
It works fine with the salt and the instant yeast.
