It was world class Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos, Lucio, Gilberto Silva, Cafu, Edmilson, Rocky Junior Kleberson and everybody. But Brazil also needed the biggest inform Jardel, Ze Roberto, in this 2002 W.C squad.
I believe Ronaldo could (would) score two goals from the two genial passes by Ronaldinho in the first half time. But the two goals he scored with the “preparation” by Rivaldo in the second half time are perfectly magic.
E pensar que o Ronaldo fez um gol quase igual contra o Palmeiras. Se ele pedala com a esquerda e tenta finalizar com a direita no canto direito, talvez iludiria o Kahn e até fizesse o gol na jogada.
RONALDO was the best number 9 ever. Injuries killed him. BUT The best quality in football history was RONALDINHO. Real coaches will know what I am talking about. Ask Zinedine Zidane if you don't believe... P.s. look at his two assists in this game... and than look two assists of RIVALDO who made everything for Ronaldo... PELE and MARADONA was the greatest of course, but pure quality/ performance belongs to R10. Nobody has that skills. Cristiano is the GOAT if you looking at numbers, trophies and professionalism ever.
I respectfully disagree. A pre injuries Ronaldo was way way stronger than a peak Ronaldinho. Ronaldo is the best thing Brazil has ever produced since O Rei himself, Pele.

He had Knee injuries before. After his first injury he was done, but still kept coming back. His 2nd one took the career out of him. He is still able to score 2 goals in the final, with low confidence in the ball is still phenomenon level.
Yup. No doubt about it. That was a finished Ronaldo already. His nasty right knee injury in 2000 basically killed him. He was never the same extraterrestrial level player he was before that knee injury. And that’s bad performance of his in a diminished condition (was probably playing at only 30% of his natural abilities) was still enough to win the World Cup for Brazil. That performance of a diminished Ronaldo was simply a reminder that he was arguably the best player of his generation and the greatest footballer since Maradona at the time. From 16 years old to 24 years old (right before his right knee injury in 2000), only King Pele was better than Ronaldo. Ronaldo to this day is the last Brazilian player to ever score in a WC final for Brazil. 22 years… Ronaldo, The Phenomenon, was the GOAT that never was (and everyone knows it).
@@clatzeoNatural talent is not the only thing which separates regular players from champions. The greatest players in their respective sports all have exceptional mental strength. Ronaldo Nazario, before those knee injuries, in the nineties, was simply phenomenal. A phenomenon.
Btw, Rivaldo leaving it to Ronaldo in the second goal is as legit as an actual assist - terrific knowledge of the field.
To come back after horrifying injuries and then score the winning goals in the final.. absolutely phenomenol from the phenomenon
And this Ronaldo was a fraction of the player before injuries
A smiling ronaldo brings joy to brasil 🇧🇷

This man and this game is why I love this sport so much.
It felt like playing fifa again.
Fifa 2002 lol. Me too.
I only got fifa 21 fifa 22 fifa 23 fifa24 and if I be good at school im gonna get fifa 20
Except the 2 goals man played like lukaku the whole match... Ronaldinho and Rivaldo were excellent
OK
Resplendent Ronaldo!!!

Remember R9 had just returned after almost 3 year out. imagine the time it takes for the body to readjust to football intensity

Five chances, two goals.
So??
The real Ronaldo and accept that
Oliver Kahn did everything to save Germany, but...
first goal: 2:27
second goal: 3:00
Ronaldinho's assists tho... mmmmmmmmm pure "death". 5* :D
Bro can I please use these clips for edits, 🙏🙏🙏
2:27
3:00
When you realize the fron three of 2002 Brazil are all Barcelona players
0:51 Ronaldinho dá o passe errado, deu nas Costa do defensor, o melhor seria no lado dele quando Ronaldo Nazário partiu.
