The Lofree Edge, Lofree's new ultra thin keyboard.
Keyboard chassis is made of magnesium alloy, with a carbon fiber plate detailing the top of the board. The Lofree Edge also comes with the new Kailh POM 2.0 switches, which is now just 9.88mm thick compared to the 11.9mm of the Lofree Flow switches and 18.5mm of traditional MX style switches.
Despite its thin profile, the keyboard is extremely sturdy and does not flex at all (I am attributing this to the carbon fiber plate and sturdy magnesium alloy body.
Typing experience is pleasant despite the thinness, and has a nice muted quality to it as well (a bit like rubber dome/Topre).

It seems very fancy, for an all in one computer, a nice wireless mouse and one of these keyboards would fit in a fancy loft office.

How is the typing feel, can you feel the gaskets?
The gasket mount can be felt but it's definitely not a flexy typing experience. The short travel distance gives the impression that it's a bit stiffer than it actually is. Quite enjoyable typing experience nonetheless!! 🌞

Guys, are there any shine-through keycaps for Flow or Edge?
I'm not aware of any being offered by Lofree itself, but I remember seeing someone putting NuPhy Air see-through keycaps on their Flow. I don't recommend buying a whole other keyboard to accomplish that (compatibility may also be spotty).
Maybe someone else might have a better answer! Thank you for the question!
@@TAZAKEY Lofree told me that the keycaps are so thin that that they abandoned the idea. But that they are aware of the demand are looking into it. If they find a way they'd do it but it won't be so quick.
