High Palladium is a must for mages. Surprised you didn't mention it. Incredible support spell that nullifies 3 attacks against you and all of your pawns.

It seems no one has noticed. When holding your skill button (L1 on console). Your up and down directional pad turn into heal and stamina item respectively.
Games like this and Baldur's Gate made me realize I just like action-rpg and not full blown RPGs. I enjoy leveling up with upgrades and exploring beautiful worlds with loot, but mostly I want exhilarating combat not tedious tasks and boring intricacies.

one thing ive also liked is that some pawns will use a stamia regen item on u if u run out if they are the right personiaity i think its calm? been a few times when i accdentally ran out of stamina as a sorc and my mage pawn ran over to me to give me a stamia regen item to get me back up even tho thats kinda pointless as sorcs have the galvaize spell which regens stamina lol
I do not know if someone else made a comment for this but you can target yourself with fire boon/afinity. With the controller you just need to click the right analog stick. I am sure there is a way to do this with a keyboard/mouse setup as well.
There also another pretty good mage spell .d/k what it’s called but you conjure these yellow floating orbs for you and your pawns . I used it and got kicked by an ogre and took zero damage . And the new animation for frigor I like as well . I feel you need a mage in your party .

I don't blame you. I bounced off the base archer in the first game too. Magic Archer however was my main class in the previous game because it had decent lock on and didn't have arrow management. Not far enough to see if it's still as good

Has anyone tried the Exaltation augment from maxing Mage? It increases stamina recovery speed. How effective is it for you? I'm curious about putting it on fighter, but it's a lot of investment so I want to have an idea of if it's worth it.

None of the characters sound appealing yet as in can’t run around incase stamina or use skills incase stamina. Is that more you mentioning it as an advice rather than us only using stamina when we must use it?
You don’t have to buy anything, everything is EASILY found in game & I haven’t had any performance issues on XBSX in over 24+ hours of gameplay. Maybe you should use your own brain & judge the game based off of YOUR experience instead of talking points (unless you don’t have the money to buy it & return it then I understand, everyone isn’t in the same financial situation.)

I got my mage pawn the holy orb, the full heal, ice boon, and the protection orbs. works wonders and came in clutch many times!

Theif has an amazing augment that decreases the chance of enemies targeting you. Would be great to pick up for a mage

You can change voices using the Rift Incense items you can buy from the Pawn Guild Shop in Vernworth.
Just went and tested it, and yes you can change your voice.

No but they can use lightning, cold, fire and even physical now but slotting all 4 will be hard to do
