My brothers and sisters would congregate around the one TV we had to watch this show!! We All loved it! I somehow was always designated to stay in front of the TV during the commercials and Yell “🗣️IT’S ON” when they were over 😂 Those were some Good times. Thank you
@@SNOWQueen87-v1g You missed a good time of adding cleaner, draining, refilling etc. It was a fad but I'm glad I can say "Did that. Won't do it again."
I had a mattress on a piece of plywood. We were poor and my dad made my bed. Still, I had a roof over my head, enough food, and a good family and we made it all work. This show was one of the highlights of our family's week along with Disney's Sunday Night Movie. I miss shows like this, too. They were really funny and didn't rely on profanity and mere vulgarity.
I love water beds, I've never been able to sleep well with regular mattresses, you just float and then you turn the heat dial on and you just drift off to sleep on a giant hot water bottle
I have a water bed. But not like the one in the skit. The waves roll from end to end as we saw. Mine has six tubes and it is comfortable. You do get little bit of waterbed motion. But certainly not like the one in the skit.
Had some great times on a waterbed & great for sleeping (tricky if you were inebriated). My sister lived in a apt that had a round room (Camelot apts) she had a wall to wall waterbed. Great for parties! Ahh, the 70s ✌
I had a water bed. Never tried jumping on it. Lasted for years. When it eventually began to leak, we got a California King size mattress to replace it. Great choice. I told my wife I would probably wake up every time she got up to take care of the baby. She slipped and fell back onto the bed one night and I didn't miss a wink of sleep. 😉
I remember when we were kids, my sister and I, back in the 70's. I was like in the 5th grade and my sister was in 2nd. I was the chunky brother and she was the petite little sister. She was skinny and a very heavy sleeper. My sister used to sleep with my parents because she loved their king size, full motion mattress. In the morning, when I'd come out of my room, ready for breakfast and school and my sister refused to get out of my parents bed to get ready, my mom would send me into their room to "get her out of bed". I was committed to my mission. My sister always slept on the edge of the bed. I would give her a couple of chances to get out of bed. When she would throw the blankets back over her head, tell me to leave her alone and insisted on continuing to sleep, I would take a couple of steps away from the bed and do a belly flop on the opposite side. By the time the wave that I sent in her direction made it across the king size bed, it was a TIDAL WAVE! She would go FLYING off the bed!!!! Yep, she was up! LOL. Great memories!!!
As I mentioned in another post I have a tube water bed. So you don't get those giant wave actions. I think it's six water-filled tubes with interior baffles. Only had one of the tubes have a very tiny leak in the 20 years I have it. You just go out and buy another tube fill it with water and put it in place.
Come play on mine. Cal. king. The first bladder was like this skits was. The second was baffled. The one I sleep on is foam and fiber. I sleep like a baby.
Tim and Carol together were magic!
"I'm walking on water!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My folks had a water bed for 30 years ago, up until maybe 8-9 years ago. Greatest thing in the world!!!
60 years later, we are all Browsing to watch this show

It took a talented actress to be as pretty as she was,yet act so homely.
Who didn't have a waterbed back in the day? I miss this show.
A lot of people didn’t have waterbeds back then

mmmeeeoooowwwww!!!!!
Still have my king size one from years ago.
LOVE IT.
I had a cousin who had a water bed back in the early 90s. It didn't end well.
I'm curious to know how 🙂

Take Dramamine! Makes you feel better ⛴😎
@@jayfromaz Don't forget, the one in skit is what they were back then, unlike today. Adjustable made them great
@@cheetahpurrfect121 for sure. That's what caused him to change. Thanks for reminding me.
The laugh I needed today, thanks!
Hilarious skit, Carol & Tim are great together!!! 🙂

That's how we ended up with our first child! Lol!
Had to get rid of it. After about the 8th month of pregnancy. I couldn't get out of bed.
OMG! That was hilarious!😂🤣
Love this show, hilarious!!!

TCBS 😆 kept us in stitches and Having been a teen in the 70s I'll take this era of 📺 anyday over the goat 🐐 tripe Hollywood gives us today... 🙄
When waterbeds hit the scene in the 70’s ,I thought “this trend won’t last long”. It lasted longer than it should have IMO.
Look at me “walking on water” 🤣🤣🤣
Master comics! 🤣😂
Hello 👋how are you doing?
This is why there are landlords who won’t let tenants have waterbeds
Waterbeds: fall asleep first or you never will😅
It's even more hilarious that the first leak appears in front of his crotch 🤣
Excellent
Never saw this one, but reminds me of the bed owned by my high school girlfriend. I needed dramamine.
Sad they have better social skills then people today lol.
I read comments to see who gets gets it!
❤️love it ❤️
Funny!

After Michael Jackson roasted that interviewer I had to look Carol Burnett up 😅😅😅
Haven't seen this one. I hate waterbeds. My mum loves them.

I wish I still my waterbed

Still have mine.Wouldnt have anything but one.
Youve got a story I bet😉
I has one.....horrible experiencia....it collapsed.....water all overol the bedroom....
I hated water beds. Even the “motionless” type
If a sane person realized that funny was sexy, Carol Burnett would be the sexiest woman in the 20th Century.
I wonder what became of this particular stage set. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
😆
They have used that name for year..The Bon Ton…it is the name of the store…
Tim Conway's wife's name in real-life was Charlene...
Waterbeds are not what they're cracked up to be. My cousin had one back in the 80s. 👎🏻
Hello 👋 how are you doing?
Sleeping in one could be like a rough ferry crossing😂
Carol, really that's mans work? Rather surprised being a hard working mom you'd sat that. Plus you always avoided political things on your show.
