Thanks for the shout out, Sue, and the info about Jocelyne Lanois .. I must admit my main interest in Martha and The Muffins was around the time of their first 2 albums, before she joined the band and connected them with her brother Daniel to produce their following 3 albums .. There's so much music I would like to listen to if I had more time, and catching up properly on some of MATM's middle and later period stuff would be an example of it .. I'd need over 100 lifetimes to do it all, Sue !!!
I hear you, Wayne! I think I know a lot of music, but I learn every day that I just don't know as much as I thought. There is so much great music out there and a lot of bad music too, haha....but a lot, I just don't know 🤗💜
I've never heard of The Parachute Club - it looks like they had a ton of fun making this video! I didn't mind the song itself, it's upbeat and happy.. not sure that I'd listen to them on a regular basis but I enjoyed watching this.

..Hey Sue .. I recall you mentioning The Parachute Club in our past conversations about Canadian bands, and as I think I said at the time, I hadn't heard of them .. So this song ( which was apparently their biggest hit ) is a first for me .. It's not bad, and the chorus is pretty catchy, but it didn't really make a huge impression on me .. It might be a grower with repeated listens.

Hey Jesse, I wasn't sure I would ever stump you! This was a fairly big hit in Canada and it did hit the Billboard dance charts in the top 30. It was their only real hit they had 🤩
