My feeling is that at the start of Goald Road they shifted servers from PVP to PVE since a lot of complains happend in the first weeks from the PVE community. Far less players this time, but so much lags and bugs. on PS5 EU like every other spell just vanished, multiple times char getting bugged (no running possible, no light or heavy attacks ) the amount of times I died because i got stuck in a stun without possibility of breaking free.
I loved it. Met so many cool people. I went from rank 9 to max 50. Only downside was the always in combat and can’t mount bug. At one point it was so bugged after I res’d at the gate I was still in combat and couldn’t log out.
There's really not much left to talk about with this game Sekaar. Seems like it is at its end of its life cycle. My advice, get into a different game, get that fresh start.
Had a ton of fun. Yes skills not going off is annoying that is for sure. Most of the issues though were being in combat for so long after finishing combat, or even dying and resurrecting far away and still being in combat. We had some epic battles and sieges in Gray Host. Had no game crashes while in Cyrodil or IC
It was the worst mayhems ever i made 6 characters for it 4 bombers 2 brawlers and it felt lackluster empty none celebrated event im so mad my alliance was 1 bar or 2 bars the whole time .. people will never experience the real mayhems those 1000 player seige battles or 24 groups that roamed the servers
I would love to share the most common complains (bad servers, crashes etc.) but to be honest.... it was a blast. Crashed not a single time, fps above 50 (playing ps5 eu), never stuck in queue since I started before prime time. All my abilities worked perfectly. 10/10 BUT I play a delusional tank healer so when my polar wind or combat prayer takes 0.5sec longer once... it isnt that important so i probably dont notice issues as much as a 20k hp nb. Made over 10mil ap, more telvar/flower bags then im gonna need for a while. Was cool to have lots of people in pvp but kinda disappointing to see so many PvE peeps with their 1bar sorc builds being absolutely useless (both as enemy and ally). So I guess I share the point of changing pvp and freshening it up (capture the keep mode?, additional objecrives in cyro like a score boost to capture specific keep or control a spot on the map for a while..) Imp city feels shit but thats probably because i dont enjoy dps playstyles.
played Ravenwatch and NO CP IC during the event, performance was good overall; the one time we ventured into Blackreach, performance was TERRIBLE; not looking forward to procs being enabled in Ravenwatch come Aug. 19th
For me, I think it runs great. I only had lag once, and that was last day, and it was my internet. Lasted about 3-5 minutes. The only real problem and why the pop goes down so fast. Is that you run into these guys that are practically unkillable, 10-20 minutes running around in a tower or around rocks so they can pick off people one at a time. It just makes for yucky pvp. Specifically, cyrodil pvp.
Cyrodil needs some major rule changes to work again. Remember that the concept and rules were designed around 5x the players and far less lag. We can reference Planetside 2 as an example as it has the same large map tri faction warfare...... they ran into the same population problem. - prevent seige on non frontline keeps/outposts. With this they should make the forward outposts and towns like harlun/cropsford link up to the next faction's keeps. - Break up the front door ram zergs of 50 people lagging the server. Make it so seige does not work unless you hold atleast one resource. Ram does half damage if you dont have LM. Balistas/trebs do half damage if you dont have mine...........This does twofold, where it forces new combat and seige tactics while at the same time making zerglings finally try to solo away from the herd. - Dilute the servers with pve and new players. Campaign incentives need to be reintroduced where they give arena weapons again. This could be structured so higher on the leaderboard/tier gets perfected and such. Another concept is to help PVP players get into PVE by giving trial weapons and jewelry as tier rewards. - Restructure the servers to have 3 campaigns and IC: CP30fac........ CP30nolock............30dayUNDER500cp.............CPIC As far as lag goes, they need to continue with more tests. Atleast IMO the lag does not seem as bad as primetime greyhost. However during these events the population is highly diluted by pve/new players which spread things out. Unless they already found the source and can't do anything about the hole they dug.
Despite what people felt, at least on ps5, there were almost 2 full pvp over 50 CP servers running with 15+ minute que times. More rewards, more players, more pvp. It was fun
Cyrodiil is never worth in mayhem. The zone is super big but never has tons of fights considering how big the zone is. I always stick to imperial city, quicker to get into pvp with no mount simulator and better LoS
Happy to hear the issues weren't just with my computer. I was ready to throw it out the window!!!😂. I like the discussion videos in addition to your gameplay videos. I used your arc bomber build in battlegrounds and I'm city. It performed well and was fun. Thank you!
The lag was horrendous!! 😢 The crashing, the abilities not working, even after I died I couldn't respawn somewhere cuz the lag wouldn't let me. I think zos needs to work on pvp for real!!
I had a great time. Mostly played BGs and IC, went into GH a little bit the last week or so, and it was also great. I'm on PS NA and had no issues besides a little lag in really big fights. The procs kind of mess things up when there's a lot of people around. I actually prefer non CP/Proc pvp.
What I've learned over years of playing this game is that there's always lag / skill delay in ESO, we just get used to it over time. It is really obvious if you go play a more optimized game like WoW or GW2 after getting used to ESO --the skills always fire immediately when you press them & it makes the combat a lot smoother. & for context: my internet is 900 MBPS down 600 up, my ping to the server is 55 ms, and I play other games just fine on the same network.
My experience was great. I've never done pvp because in past games I had horrible experiences solo and pvp guilds are always full of jerks. But I found a pvp guild in my faction that was super nice and friendly even to enemies.
On Xbox NA, I had no performance issues at all. However, the worst part IMO are ball groups. Whether playing alone, small group, or unorganized large group, you have no chance to stop them. No point in joining a siege while a ball group is there, otherwise you're just there to be farmed. On the other hand, sieges without ball groups are some of the most fun I've had in ESO or in any pvp game.
I had plenty of fun; it was nice seeing a queue to Cyrodiil, something I haven't seen in a while. What always ruins it for me are the ball groups and the PvE players who think they are doing PvP by engaging in 20v4 fights and running around in a ball all the time. As soon as you see that there are two or more ball groups on the server, you might as well log off and come back later. Hence, some sides are just dead.
Plenty of action in IC. The only annoyance was that "You are already queued..." bug when trying to get out of base and into the city. And even then it wasn't nearly as bad as in previous years. For a bomber looking for trouble, it was a pretty good time 😊
Ran battlegrounds the whole event, went pretty good until you run into people who are just there to hide/run around until the match is over so they can get an event box lol.
I played a bunch of BGs and tried to play Cyro but on Xbox NA every time I tried to enter Gray host I was 100+ in the queue and the other campaigns were basically empty along with IC being basically empty. Wanted to run my friend through molag bal in the sewers and couldn't even find more than 2 other players while in the sewers. This was probably the worst Midyear/whitestrakes mayhem event Ive played. The one good run I had in Cyro was awesome but was ended with a battle at Sejanus where we set up max siege and the player count at the fight was so crazy it was nearly impossible to kill anyone because of the lag and I was eventually booted out. When trying to re-log I could no load into that same character. Once the game finally did let me log in I was no longer in Cyro and would have to sit in the unusually long queue. I do recognize that lag and getting booted is not 100% on the servers and blame could be placed on playing on console but still it sucked that I would sit in queue longer than in Cyro. I feel as if the pvp aspect of ESO is just dying because of the poor QOL. Lack of rewards, lack of playable campaigns, IC being a really fun area but essentially useless, servers unable to handle partaking in the basics of pvp. I also feel like I could remember a time not too long ago where there were more active campaigns which would really help with the queue and server struggle. Idk this is kind of just a rant cause I can. TLDR PVP is on the back burner and just running an event does not make it any better.
I feel the same way about this new chapter regarding meta-shifting gameplay for PvP. It's not enough to just give us a new mythic or even 'NEW' abilities via introduced in-game systems. It's got to the point where ZOS needs to make new battleground game modes/maps, Cyro/IC updates and even design a entirely new PvP game mode. Imagine something that adds to the already successful environments of PVEVP in the game (cyro/IC). Shit why not introduce a MOBA style mode where you and your faction or team work with AI controlled units to destroy towers that lead to a base. Destroy the base and you win the match. 4v4 or even 12v12 would be fine depending on map size and scale.
Grayhost experience here with a few daily BG’s. Everything was fine performance wise, even in Cyrodil except for a few glaring things. BALL GROUPS, lag the servers to no end. I only saw massive lag in grayhost when there were many of the groups running around in the same area. WAYY too many abilities firing and they are not fun to fight. They almost require siege to deal with or massive amounts of players with at least a few running azureblight to deal with. Also, the servers towards the end of the event seemed to massively fall off, regardless of ball groups. Got lagged out of the entire game during a few sieges with just normal sized groups of defenders and attackers. Also scribing has a few gold mines but I generally agree with you on that front. Warden immobilizing class script contingency is one of those gold mines for pvp. Damage, immobilize + charm all tied into one skill made dealing with ball groups a tad bit easier. Overall, the experience gets a 7/10 for me, raised up by 1 point due to massive ap gains
PC/NA - Performance was worse than Mayhem usually is for me. I had a really hard time getting excited for the event this time though. Too much breaking glass, to many free pull sets, the toxic beyond belief ball groups (in my opinion), and the super low population caps have just become difficult to enjoy. My favorite thing about Mayhem has become seeing names from years past that you never see anymore. The game needs an adrenaline shot for sure.
as a prime time GH bomber junkie, it was a blast as usual, but .. yeah... as usual lol.. performance was def bad. I think your idea of a "hot" area on the map sounds very interesting! Would be very cool to see something new.
GH main, even during the event. First week had absolutely awful performance, regular crashes, regular high ping. After that it tapered off severely. (As if ZOS actually gave it resources). The event itself was fun, but PVP has been in a very stale rut for a long time, and the lack of meaningful balancing changes helps it. I've been playing a lot of necromancer lately, and the amount of times I had to say "I could swap to ____ and this wouldn't happen, this guy would die, xyz" is ridiculous. It's been pretty consistent through the last two years. Nightblade, Sorc, and DK are generally being buffed repeatedly, whereas things like Necro or Templar are nerfed repeatedly and or have no changes whatsoever. Arcanist I'm not super good with to give an opinion, and Warden I feel is at least consistent enough where I don't think it's either OP or Underpowered. I played the event with a lot of intention to burn out from PVP, and it wasn't all that hard to do. The combat system is absolutely a game-definer, nothing like it in any MMO I've played. I love the Elder Scrolls IP to death. But the balance is just so terrible and yawn-inducing that I'd rather go play other PVP games and do other stuff with my time.
i personally agree with your feelings on imp city. love it there. seiging is boring, running forever just to get zerged down, at least when u respawn in imp city you can get right back into the action. like. imp city just more fun.
The only small thing that I would disagree with is regarding Cyrodill. So, as you said, the prime Cyrodill was the best form of PvP from any game. Keeping it unchanged will make it more attractive to non-veteran PvP players, compared to risking making it worse and discouraging new PvP players.
YO! I’m on Xbox NA, hardwired on a series X. Played 6-8 hours a day, mainly in a ball group & had zero performance issues! Granted my group did & many of them are over seas where i hear performance is worse. NOTE: I usually play midnight to sunrise PST so that’s maybe a huge factor why performance was great for me. Otherwise i had a great time! I get tired of ball grouping though & missed my 1vX gameplay. When i did 1vX i hunted nightblades around keeps & would get 25k ticks for killing one dude😂
I was very new to it got my stamcrow or geared up and ready to go mostly BG tho not full Cyro or IC just for the quests BG was good tho I was surprised I got a few high scores decent wins it’s a surprise cus it was mostly randos I had fun
stop donating money to the those game developers and they gonna start listen to their players that's easy, do not buy chapters, organise petitions where you ask for changes (new BGs, changes in Cyro, Imperial City could be updated too), they also should buff tons of useless sets back this will change meta so hard, they are lazy bastards and they should be punished for this approach, they do not respect their own players base
Spot on. Performance was complete ass for me and I know the difference as well. Felt like large grps have server priority over solo and small grps, but idk. Shout out to Kained n Dcorn. Nice x boys.
It took the a few years to get and upload the new severs for PC, Console. So when I heard that they are opening new severs for the event. That was going to be starting in two weeks. My tinfoil hat went to work. And I personally believe that they just opened up those old severs for use during this event. Which maybe caused issues of the new severs working with the old severs. I have no facts to back this up. It is just a opinion
Performance on Xbox/NA (cloud stream from pc) was flawless and there was a long queue to get in, though the combat was slower and felt like a regular day. A lot of ballgroups were slowing it down even more, f-king potato farmers. I honestly think the issue is the self healing and tankiness everyone runs. You can even sacrifice your entire build, like vamp, titanborn, true sworn, and die when the wind blows but still not see much of your damage. Terrible idea born out of slow gameplay
Devs checked out and are just mailing things in. Event was only really fun first few days and then it's just the same GH crowd every night because it's the same thing going on 10 years now.. Small pop means 100+ ques, oh yeah, twice mine bugged out.
I dont pvp because of dc issues. Nothing sucks worse than taking a keep and defending for 20-30 min and then just before the tick, you dc and you get nothing. I happens way to often for me to get into pvp
I feel like the population is at an all time low in PvP. I stopped playing because of that exact reason - that and the mentality of the players and zos. I feel like the PvP event needs to be moved to imperial city and maybe rework the city to add capture zones downstairs too. Idk. Games on its way out unless Zenimax sort their act out
Yo they just need to fix the bs queuing for bgs and random dungeons. Sometimes you can wait upto an hr or swap crown to someone else in your group and you insta queue.. so cooked
Pvp is way to laggy and build dependant. I can play pve with a bad build and enjoy the game. In pvp I need a hyper meta set that takes alliance points to get or I just lose on repeat. I don't play pvp anymore
I think this recent update with scribing so the least amount of returning players cyrodil is dead now midyear was empty eso is dying sad to see one of my favorite games of all time
I couldn't play the last 3 days of midyear on xbox becuase I got banned, 3 days for a first offense seems crazy but anyway I was on pc fighting near you on brk lumber Saturday it was fun but performance was almost worse that xbox performance lol
Proc sets are annoying but the issue is everyone just runs extremely tanks. They’ve tried it before and that’s exactly what happened and no one could kill
@@Xirksy I played no proc cyrodiil. It was very predictable and the population was nonexistent when proc sets were turned back on. Play . Chivalry 2 if your looking for seige war fare like I do. Mmos need item sets for fun new ways to kill someone
No proc/ no cp was the most skill based pvp in eso. If you couldn’t kill people, it’s a skill gap. No free damage or healing from sets. When you face 20 people, you don’t get to hit 1 button and let vicious death kill people. You need to manually take all 20 out.
avoid cyrodill at all cost during the event i personally did only bgs and imperial city with good performance for the whole event. i dont think they will ever fix cyrodill sadly
crash city this iteration, one of the worst for that. as for the lag, it's been around so long it's a feature, much like the venerable 'in combat' perma-state.
Negatives ball groups ad and dc working as same faction against Ep very sad . Seems sum up blackreach these days differently need blackreach faction lock
For me, 2 thing are ruining pvp, ball groups and nightblade stealth. I swear nb stealth is the most unbalanced shit I’ve ever seen, on command stealth that detect other stealth? Like wtf
I feel like previous events were more populated and the performance during this mym event was horrible, I believe this game is dying and Zenimax is the one who is killing it off so they can jump into monetizing it for all they can before shutting down the servers. I don’t see ESO reaching the longevity that other classic mmorpgs have accomplished.
Summer time in the States right now, not as many players in general for overall gaming. Happens all the time in ESO. Wait until winter Whitestrikes, those population numbers are doubled because more people are at home on vacation.
As a casual PvE'r, this was my first PvP event and it was bloody amazing fun, stupid I didn't try it before. Battlegrounds too, Cyrodil and Imperial city. The Imperial city Ganks are never fun but good for them lol🎉 Hooked on PvP now, but I'm new to it so not jaded yet. Was great for us PvP noobs
I played BGs and IC the whole time and had a blast. I played in the morning, the afternoon, and heavy in the evening. I bombed, brawled, and even screwed around with heavy attack tarnish. I had a great time necro bombing and equally fun using my DK. This was a great event. As for cyrodiil, I'm not a big fan of riding on a mount.
Hated it, haven't been in Cyrodiil since it started. IC was fuller, but still pretty dead. Battlegrounds terrible. 90% didn't know the rules of the different types. Didn't win A SINGLE battleground game.
pvp on xbox is dead. no matter what server you played on it was nothing but corny ball groups zerging together. the days of 1/2vX are long gone. needless to say i am done with this game, again.
Hi Team Sekaar I have played ESO from day one. Mid year mayhem has always been my favourite. Love it!!! No performance issues at all for me. Annoyed at my Alliance not working together; as we all know it’s about tactics. Some suggestions to enhance the experience….. 1: Have a last man standing scenario AKA Fortnite or Hunger games style 2: Have exclusive ‘once only’ golden vendor items 3: Speed up the mounts so they become turbo 4: Encourage players to join e.g. three bars you get an extra 10% damage, when players leave and the bars drop you lose the benefit. 5: Have a new currency like Tel Var stones for event in Cyrodill that you can buy from the golden vendor only ( lose half when you die ) 6: If your alliance wins the campaign; reward with new title ( Cyrodill champion ) and double the gold received. That will get the economy booming. 7: Tailor daily rewards toward the event 8: Create a new ‘battlegrounds’ scenario e.g. a maze similar to the sewers in Imperial City 9: With each campaign have an exclusive mount reward if you win, which would encourage players to join the shorter campaigns 10: Offer to buy or earn exclusive weapons like the arena scenario. Have perfected and gold, exclusive for event only. Buy with reward currency as previously mentioned or earn by daily challenges. Just some really basic ideas to encourage more players to PVP over the event. Take care 😀

ive always wanted ic to be more poped its my fav pvp ever i feel like they should add monthly rewards somehow to incitive players to be there more

They need to fix the que waiting times for group battlegrounds
i personally agree with your feelings on imp city. love it there. seiging is boring, running forever just to get zerged down, at least when u respawn in imp city you can get right back into the action. like. imp city just more fun.
Where's my gamer union?
@@mincvinyl here in this comment section xd
Pvp players are always second class citizens, they'll never get anything. Even q4 pvp update will be trash
I ended up with 925k ap but my telvar farming was horrible. I probably could have spent more time in IC
I was in IC ganking something crazy! The most telvar ive made ever in 2 weeks lol
Devs checked out and are just mailing things in. Event was only really fun first few days and then it's just the same GH crowd every night because it's the same thing going on 10 years now.. Small pop means 100+ ques, oh yeah, twice mine bugged out.
In all honesty, I play from aus and my pings always around 300. I didn't notice a difference lol 😂😢
I dont pvp because of dc issues. Nothing sucks worse than taking a keep and defending for 20-30 min and then just before the tick, you dc and you get nothing. I happens way to often for me to get into pvp
I played solo and absolutely menaced down in the sewers on nb 🙃
I dont do scribing but i did have fun with imperial city
I never lag in eso, gray host pop locked 1hr+ que didnt matter all u gotta do.. all u gotta do is buy urself a 20k gaming rig ull be fine.
I feel like the population is at an all time low in PvP. I stopped playing because of that exact reason - that and the mentality of the players and zos. I feel like the PvP event needs to be moved to imperial city and maybe rework the city to add capture zones downstairs too. Idk. Games on its way out unless Zenimax sort their act out
I had a level 35 NB try to gank me. 😂😅😂😊
👏👏
Yo they just need to fix the bs queuing for bgs and random dungeons. Sometimes you can wait upto an hr or swap crown to someone else in your group and you insta queue.. so cooked
💔 the Lag Scrolls Online
Pvp is way to laggy and build dependant. I can play pve with a bad build and enjoy the game. In pvp I need a hyper meta set that takes alliance points to get or I just lose on repeat. I don't play pvp anymore
I think this recent update with scribing so the least amount of returning players cyrodil is dead now midyear was empty eso is dying sad to see one of my favorite games of all time
Double resources with half the performance is exactly how to describe it. #canceleso+
I couldn't play the last 3 days of midyear on xbox becuase I got banned, 3 days for a first offense seems crazy but anyway I was on pc fighting near you on brk lumber Saturday it was fun but performance was almost worse that xbox performance lol
CP PvP no proc sets campaigns. They should make one.
They did, you and Timmy will be the only ones there. No build diversity and very predictable combat
Proc sets are annoying but the issue is everyone just runs extremely tanks. They’ve tried it before and that’s exactly what happened and no one could kill
@@conancimmerian5066 nah it turns into skill rather than gear carry.
People are tired of invisible nightblades bombers - this is why nobody in pvp nomore
Ball groups are worse than night ladies IMO
Guess it wasnt that bad on XBOX-EU server. I think it was great! As a pve player I could level all my characters’ pvp skill lines 😁
avoid cyrodill at all cost during the event i personally did only bgs and imperial city with good performance for the whole event. i dont think they will ever fix cyrodill sadly
crash city this iteration, one of the worst for that. as for the lag, it's been around so long it's a feature, much like the venerable 'in combat' perma-state.
Microsoft scaling back $ervers. Be sure to buy more flashy mounts.
Negatives ball groups ad and dc working as same faction against Ep very sad . Seems sum up blackreach these days differently need blackreach faction lock
It was horrible. It was like fighting underwater.
For me, 2 thing are ruining pvp, ball groups and nightblade stealth.
I swear nb stealth is the most unbalanced shit I’ve ever seen, on command stealth that detect other stealth? Like wtf
they need to make that shit cost increase like streak im tired of these nightblades running away and spamming cloak
Wear a detect potion
GH performed just fine for me. Get a better rig.
🍹❤🐈
I don't see the point of this video, sorry, it's fairly incoherent.
Lag and more lag
I played BGs and IC the whole time and had a blast. I played in the morning, the afternoon, and heavy in the evening. I bombed, brawled, and even screwed around with heavy attack tarnish. I had a great time necro bombing and equally fun using my DK. This was a great event. As for cyrodiil, I'm not a big fan of riding on a mount.
Clear your alternate Mac adress in Xbox settings then thank me later 😉
^^^ big facts! I had zero performance issues on my series X & i was in Greyhost 6-8 hours a day.
@@ESO_PRIME like playing a completely different game game lol
@@samuelsvincent i keep trying to tell people this secret but they don't believe me! lol
@@ESO_PRIME more lag kills for us lol 😂
Hated it, haven't been in Cyrodiil since it started. IC was fuller, but still pretty dead. Battlegrounds terrible. 90% didn't know the rules of the different types. Didn't win A SINGLE battleground game.
I don't think the people who queue bgs care about the rule set
Do you have an ig or email? I have questions about sets
pvp on xbox is dead. no matter what server you played on it was nothing but corny ball groups zerging together. the days of 1/2vX are long gone. needless to say i am done with this game, again.
I’m in xbox NA & there was plenty of 1vX ing. You just have to know where to find it & avoid the ball groups.
Hi Team Sekaar
I have played ESO from day one.
Mid year mayhem has always been my favourite. Love it!!! No performance issues at all for me. Annoyed at my Alliance not working together; as we all know it’s about tactics.
Some suggestions to enhance the experience…..
1: Have a last man standing scenario AKA Fortnite or Hunger games style
2: Have exclusive ‘once only’ golden vendor items
3: Speed up the mounts so they become turbo
4: Encourage players to join e.g. three bars you get an extra 10% damage, when players leave and the bars drop you lose the benefit.
5: Have a new currency like Tel Var stones for event in Cyrodill that you can buy from the golden vendor only ( lose half when you die )
6: If your alliance wins the campaign; reward with new title ( Cyrodill champion ) and double the gold received. That will get the economy booming.
7: Tailor daily rewards toward the event
8: Create a new ‘battlegrounds’ scenario e.g. a maze similar to the sewers in Imperial City
9: With each campaign have an exclusive mount reward if you win, which would encourage players to join the shorter campaigns
10: Offer to buy or earn exclusive weapons like the arena scenario. Have perfected and gold, exclusive for event only. Buy with reward currency as previously mentioned or earn by daily challenges.
Just some really basic ideas to encourage more players to PVP over the event.
Take care 😀
No fun, only ball grps and unkillable solos. In IC, gankers only. Disgusting !
The event sucked. The game is dead. PVE players are the only thing keeping Zos afloat.
13 minutes of non-distilled yapping
Wahhhhh
