I wonder why no one has asked about these prototype Marshalls?I heard Björn allude to them in another interview also, but very briefly & the subject was quickly changed.....if I remember correctly, wasn't he a diehard 5150/6505 guy forever? So now he's switched to Marshall.....? I'm curious as to what these Marshall's are.....I'm a JVM guy myself so it's cool to see he's using those too, but what about his new secretive prototypes?
@@hagguhugga3796 I suppose it's possible I just have crap ears, but for me every album since probably Come Clarity is pure overdriven jcm800 + les paul. Plus the fact that Gelotte has actually said as much, and the fact that he tries to model his lead sound on zakk wylde... but if you know more then I'm open to education :)

If I remember correctly, Bjorn said they have storage in the US for their tours stateside so they don’t have to ship everything.
In case you wonder which mics they use: clean tones are SE Electronics VR2 Voodoo and the gain sounds are SE Electronics SE 2200a II

I've read or heard a few times that they're jcm800s with extra gain stages, which I believe because that's exactly what they sound like.

Any good recommendations on self-study for this kind of thing (Guitar technician/Sound Engineer)?
If it's at all possible, I'd love to know more about how the RJM Line Mixer is being used with the wireless.
