Awwwww trust me as someone who has curly hair - us curly girlies wish they had beautiful straight hair, but what I’ve learned over time is to embrace the natural. Straight is beautiful too 😊 you prob already knew all of this though haha
Yeah, curly hair can do so many amazing things. Straight hair only looks good on certain people and you have to have a god given talent for styling it and you have to not move for it to stay nice. Also has to be moderately thick to look good. I have straight hair and I finally chopped it off so that when I put it in a pony tail it's almost like it doesn't exist cause I don't want to see it anymore. 😢 I remember the days I would try and try to style it. A couple times I was very happy when I made a nice messy bun work but it was still only a 10th of the awesomeness of this chick's glorious 5 day lazy bun.
Same w curly it gets annoying and time wasting. So working towards some kind of pixie and even shorter. When you do q ponytail constantly it might as well be shorter cause all people see is the head. The half up style was my go to for years and it started to hurt. Seeing older people w long hair baffles me. Tells me these are kind and patient people 😂 @@letsallgoforawalk

I ised to wear a messy bun in the 90s all the time. Now I'm growing my curly hair out after having a bob for years. There are so many great products and styles for curly hair now!
I feel compelled to mention how positively lovely you did your makeup...flawless. The colors are soft yet classy without the need to overdue your brows. Your eye color pops.
Easy fix with a hydrating shampoo and conditioner! Then a leave in conditioner spray to revive the curls and hair oil only on the ends. Will keep your hair sooo healthy 🫶
Meanwhile my hair when in bun when I had curly hair (it’s wavy now), “TOGETHER FOREVER - STUCK” I kid you not, a bun for a few days mean several strand up to half of the hair was connected and I could either separate it by tearing my hair or getting in the shower to decomb wet/lathered- only solutions.
That natural type 3 curl pattern looks beautiful no matter what you do to it. My waves almost always look like a poofy mess if I use absolutely nothing in it.
