I'm trying to find balance between not changing too much of my life/habits at once, and changing them enough to discourage me from falling back into my old patterns. I've been trying to wake up earlier (and with as few snoozes to the alarm as possible), doing something to move everyday, whether its yoga, at-home workout, gym workout (trying not to do that because pandemic), jump rope, walk, etc. I've also been trying to eat only when i'm hungry and eat better in general! Honestly, the cleaning my bedroom for 15 min at night thing is so useful. I now do it every day and I have my room super clean and it makes me disconnect a little bit of my mind, and my screen.

i’m really trying to read more especially outside of school, i used to read so much and over the years i guess i had to use that time for other stuff like homework and cleaning and all my other responsibilities so it will be nice to carve out some time for myself to do something i used to love so much

Recently I started journaling and it has really helped me out a lot. It lets me get my thoughts out since my mind is constantly running at 1000 mph and process my feelings because I tend to keep me emotions to myself. I highly recommend it to anyone who is struggling with those same things because it really calms me down and feel better.
Having experienced crazy mental illness over the years, last year I learned to be more present and to be gentle with myself. If you're dwelling too much on the past or being anxious of the future, don't get frustrated! Notice the thought pattens and look to understand rather than just rhetorically asking 'why'. Being gentle also links to my morning routine. Every day is new, different and unknown so I try not to get too worked up if I can't do all or any of my morning routine (which typically takes up an hour so fair enough if I can't do it every day damn).

I watch your vlogs when I just want to chill out and watch a video, I watch these kinds of videos with helpful tips when I'm feeling like I need to make a change in my lifestyle or when I need to get through a hard time and need things to cope with, and I watch your haul videos and recommendation videos when I want to look for new things to try out. Your videos have helped me get through many hard times. I love these habits!! One thing I want to say is for everyone to always put your full effort in something and that hard work will amount to something. I did a sat prep camp the entire summer and really did not take it seriously. I had so many resources to really learn everything that is on the sat but instead of really committing to learning them, I ignored all the work I should have been doing and just thought “The SAT is dumb, I don’t need to be doing this”. And as you might have guessed, I ended up doing very poor on the sat while those who worked hard did well. The next month, I studied so hard and actually committed to doing practice questions and learning from my mistakes. And thankfully, I was able to improve by a lot! Obviously, there are many MANY more important things in life that this should be applied to than just the sat but I hope you all remember it. Happy 2021 everyone 💕
i want to continue bullet journalling, working out as much as i do right now, and gratitude is a huge one i have learned these past months! since it was such a tough year, its eye opening to display things you are grateful for while enjoying the moments ;)

There are many habits that I am going to pick up from this video, but one for myself is my weight. Working out makes me feel good and also you have helped me see that my body is my only home an that I should take care of it and be healthy.

THAT TALK ABOUT THE FUTURE IS MEE. i’ve been struggling with that so much and i’ve had so much anxiety thinking about my future that i couldn’t enjoy my winter break but I’ve been getting better at appreciating the right now. ITS SO IMPORTANT, i plan on enjoying my last month of break 😩🥺
