Okay hear me out. First of all, imagine how things could be if the company choose Ladies as the debut song. After heavy debut promotion, Figaro will be their first comeback which in fact it is but still they could be more recognizable as that mature girlgroup, then after Kyungri addition they could go with Ticket and News which i PERSONALLY think they could get a breakthrough knowing that News is one of their best selling songs. After the success also the great amount promotion by the company, with Dolls they could have even bigger succes then leads them to grow even bigger. It’s just the company wanted to pursue that elegant and sexy concept with No Playboy but it didn’t work and not to mention that the members were entirely exhausted by the trainings they got before debuting, if i wish i was a billionaire i could help them up.
2:28 there's just something about the "Give up up, tonight" section that hits different. I'm not sure what it is, but the notes and harmonies just feel perfect. It's rare for a part of a song to feel so insanely nice to listen to. If there was a whole song of only that section, I'd listen to it for ages. Either way though this song is one of the best in my opinion, I love the vibe and the music. The choreo was heavily improved at this point from No Playboy. These girls really killed it, wish they never disbanded tbh. But seriously, those Give Up Up sections are too perfect.

Hands off to one of the best yet underrated girl group of Korea :( Been a fan of 9M since this era and they are amazing. They keep on releasing quality songs even now. And I respect Hyemi so much because she's been a muse since the beginning and she renewed her contract today. The last original Muse remaining!

Okay hear me out. First of all, imagine how things could be if the company choose Ladies as the debut song. After heavy debut promotion, Figaro will be their first comeback which in fact it is but still they could be more recognizable as that mature girlgroup, then after Kyungri addition they could go with Ticket and News which i PERSONALLY think they could get a breakthrough knowing that News is one of their best selling songs. After the success also the great amount promotion by the company, with Dolls they could have even bigger succes then leads them to grow even bigger. It’s just the company wanted to pursue that elegant and sexy concept with No Playboy but it didn’t work and not to mention that the members were entirely exhausted by the trainings they got before debuting, if i wish i was a billionaire i could help them up.
This song is still relevant even if you listen to 20 years in the future too

2:28 there's just something about the "Give up up, tonight" section that hits different. I'm not sure what it is, but the notes and harmonies just feel perfect. It's rare for a part of a song to feel so insanely nice to listen to. If there was a whole song of only that section, I'd listen to it for ages. Either way though this song is one of the best in my opinion, I love the vibe and the music. The choreo was heavily improved at this point from No Playboy. These girls really killed it, wish they never disbanded tbh. But seriously, those Give Up Up sections are too perfect.
