I don't know why no one has commented yet, this was a great video
Thank you Adam! That means a lot.
$34b doesn’t even seem like that big of a number for such an ambitious project in New York City.
Boston too. In fact MOST of Boston is on landfill.
Yup, if it’s flat you’re in ‘New Boston’ OB has hills
3:06 vanurable?
Do you trust the buildings sitting on the Hudson?

Ok this video makes the new manhatta idea seem plausible. I didn't know it was something we've done before.
yeah, I think most people don't realize that a large part of lower manhattan (especially around Battery Park area) is basically "man made" land.
there's a fort you can visit down there, and it shows the development of the shoreline. I wish I took pictures when we visited. Or I would have included them in the video.
@theCuriousNewYorker I walk it and don't realize it all the time lol. Longest walk is from high st in bk. Over the bridge. To the west side hwy up to the highline to 34th
Oh wow, you’re doing a lot of walking 😅
The land in Boston is mostly created by man, the old harbor went to the old state house, and now the old state house is more than half a mile away from the harbor.
