their pricing is painful if you're not a game dev team. :-/ at $1200 per month and a limit of 100 credits to use per month and 4 credits for a high end model, that's a limit of 25 models for $1200 per month PLUS the extra credits you'll need to reach 100 credits, at ... $15 per credit?? that's another $500 or so!! so $2K per month for 25 models.
and some models won't work out.. so that's $60 down the drain for each of those models. please try again.
this... just isn't sustainable for a company needing models, unless the product proves itself first. an employee can't tell his boss that it took 5 tries to get the model right, so that's $300, and 4 fewer models you can make that month.
if they had a MUCH cheaper low tier where you don't pay for the model unless you're satisfied with it... or really, have that at any tier.. then it starts being worth it.
otherwise you're crossing your fingers that AI gets the model generation correct, and if not... that's $60 bucks out the window.
but if you could tweak things until the system makes the model you're looking for, then you pay to download it.... that's a huge difference.
aaaaand.... if you don't pay for a model, that model can be hosted by the company in a repository that anyone else can download from.. so it becomes a model the company can sell (since it hasn't been paid for / is abandoned) and multiple people might end up buying that model. maybe it sells at a discount, since it's also available to others.
and a game company won't bother to 'cheat' the system because it means other can also use the same models in their games, and that's not what a game company wants.
but $60 for a character you definitely want is an amazing price. but $300, or maybe even more, kind of throwing darts at a board trying to hit the bullseye... that's not a good financial gamble.
otherwise, seems like neat tech!
if it stays expensive, someone will make a cheaper version that'll run in blender, comfyui, or krita... and then the question will be if richer dev companies will prefer to spend their money on a blender plugin or $1200 a month for throwing darts at a wall... :-)
yes i agree this is very costly services and i am not a part of game dev team or kaedem app i am just exploring the shortcuts and time saving methods of modeling's in my channel. also this video is not sponsor video.

There is a better and cheaper way to Generate 3D Models / Character and Texture them with Ai.
I use Meshy Ai to Generate the Model from image or from Promt. It’s bad geometry but we can easily refine it in a 3D Software. Meshy produce bad textures.
I use Korea Ai to texture the Model with Projection techniques. It’s a very easy and intuitive workflow.
I showed it to our Production team, now this is our new way to do 3d Stuff.

ai topologie is stinky, embrace your mouse and keyboard and do it yourself
i have tested this topology in rigging its works well
This is, like, the best topology i’ve ever seen from an A.I. generator. atleast it HAS edgeflow. and then density is correct in the correct areas. Granted it is hard modeling the details instead of using textures or maps. but still. I could actually Rig this poly off the box without *NEEDING* retopology. (I probably still would Retop if I needed this for a longterm project though)
That's not ai. These guys are well known lies. They hire Indians that do the work manually and market it as ai. What a dumb way to start a business!
