- The work is just beginning on the 9430. Now that the engine has been condemned it’s time to start rebuilding the complete block assembly.

Wow. I'm very glad that John Deere did the right thing replacing that engine. And you are a hell of a mechanic man. Love the videos.
Love your attention to detail. My local dealer had to warranty an engine and did not bother to paint it green. Cant stand the black block. Good work young man.
I really respect how Zeth works, he does every part of the job the right way and by the book. I love learning about the heavy equipment John Deere makes, it's very complicated and sturdily built. I'm a retired ASE Master Tech but if I could start over, I'd sigh up for the John Deere Ag Tech program. I'm tempted to do it now, even though I'm retired. I love the no nonsense business of serious Ag equipment service and repair. Sometimes in the automotive world, you are dealing with a retail consumer mentality as opposed to keeping the John Deere equipment running for our dedicated farmers who grow our food supply.
I thing I learned is to replace the oil cooler when major engine damage occurs. You can’t really wash all the metal out of it.
You are a superior mechanic totally impressed keep up the great work
Paying if forward, just like I and millions of others have done for decades and decades. Enjoy your presentations. Watching from Columbus, Nebraska. Regards
Thank you for sharing
Im gald you uploaded this video to show that sometimes it doesn't always run smoothly. Something similar happened to me once too. I fitted a none genuine water pump once to an engine and it ran noisy as it didn't have enough backlash but I got away with just installing a new genuine water pump.
After following you for some time now on 5 different jobs from start to finish, I have no question whatsoever in my mind as to you being a "Master Mechanic Technician" with the highest of personal standards. It would also be my opinion that both Sloan Equipment, John Deere International, and most importantly of all, the clients of Sloan are extremely lucky to have you working on and repairing their equipment. I especially like the way you take care of your personal tools, your work area, the parts being removed, and the client's equipment itself. Further, I also admire the way you always use special tools when they are needed and the fact that when special tools are needed but not available, you make your own, that is a sure sign of a top-notch mechanic in my opinion. Unfortunately, I am one of those few followers/fans who does not like music of any kind being played in place of hearing the actual sounds of the work being done. Sorry, but for me, music takes away from the videoing of the repairs being made to/on/for the equipment. Keep on, Keeping on.
You are a highly skilled tech that's on another planet.
New engine but still a lot of work moving bits over nice job 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Them fancy tools sure make it easy......oh if I had a dollar for every time I heard that one. Great video man thanks so much.
Nice green paint job! Most non-JD engines would run much better if they were simply painted this color!! Yeah Buddy!
Good work man. Not many people give recognition when its needed. Fellow deere tech here. Liking your channel. Thought about doing a channel for all my shenanigans
Awesome video. How you know where all that goes, the order in which it has to be installed and how it has to be installed is amazing amazing.
Great job, but I'm amazed at the quality of the video.👍👍👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great video.
Nice build up. I was amazed you picked up the oil pan by yourself. CAT 5/6 cyl. pans are cast iron, need 2 people. So you're either very strong, or the pan is aluminum or thinner gauge steel than I would expect.
Never seen a yellow toolbox before, it rocks
I kinda thought the engine would be warranty , you do work like a text book would say to do , perfect work as a master tech ,
