    I see many UA-camrs just
    straightening their bedlinen
    not actually stripping the bed,
    shaking / airing the bedlinen
    and making the bed. Here
    in Switzerland, we air our duvets
    in the fresh open air and open
    windows to air our apartments/
    houses. Houses and streets in
    places are kept tidy and clean.

      1 11 my grandmother used to do that. What a wonderful idea. I remember it smells very fresh and clean.

      Way too cold where I live to open windows or air blankets. We are -28C tonight. 😭

      @@ritalynb7070 Duvets are aired during
      daytime. Blankets can be washed.
      We do not use blankets in Switzerland. Where do you live?
      Northern Scandinavia , Russia,
      or..... ? Have a nice day.

    I wish "mental health" days were a thing where I am. I don't get sick days.... Friday we had a family funeral, Monday back to work. I know it's a cliche, but I dread Mondays.

    • @AbundantlyMinimal
      @AbundantlyMinimal  5 років тому

      I'm sorry to hear that. I can relate to dreading Mondays. While I didn't dread teaching, I used to feel sad about the loss of freedom to work on my businesses. I'm sorry to hear about the funeral.

    Do minimalists put artwork on the walls?

    • @AbundantlyMinimal

      They totally can! There is no right answer! I personally haven't done much with decoration and don't find a lot of joy in it, but many people do!

    This oatmeal recipe from another UA-camr (happens to be vegan, which we appreciate) was life changing for our family. So delicious! I'd highly recommend it. www.pickuplimes.com/single-post/2018/04/05/Classic-Comforting-Oatmeal

    739 dates + maple syrup: maybe try weaning off one of both because of the extreme sugar level

    Dear Sarah, I wish to give you some feedback because you seem to be a very nice person. Since you started this channel as your full time job I feel less inclined to watch your videos. I actually liked your authentic narrations before and without too much music in the background. Now it seems you try to meet other people's expectations and being "perfect" for business reasons rather than being just you. Just my thoughts though.

    • @AbundantlyMinimal
      @AbundantlyMinimal  5 років тому

      I appreciate your feedback! Honestly, the video process and running the channel full time has been a lot more complex than I expected, and I think you are not alone in your opinion. I actually have a video that will go up on the 27th that somewhat addresses this. There is some truth to what you are saying, in the sense that I put pressure on myself to make enough money, but I think it is also natural for us as humans to try to grow. I don't add music or try new styles of videos for business purposes, it is because I want to grow and improve myself as a filmmaker. It makes me happy to create something that I think is beautiful and valuable. I also enjoy putting more time into videos now because I can, where before it was like, today's the weekend, so I have to hustle and film these videos ASAP, and where I would often sacrifice sleep to edit videos. I think it is also very common for people to watch channels in phases, and I know personally, I don't watch the same channels now that I used to, even though I still like those people, and that's okay if that is what happens with people on my channel. Long story short, it's complicated, but I appreciate your feedback. If you do prefer the older, less-produced, more chatty style, my vlog channel could be a good fit: ua-cam.com/channels/ItMXr-oXngN-j9ITmxXStA.html
