This worked for me as well !!! Thank you. So, I replaced fuse # 48...and turned on the car, then the console came on after I pressed one of the buttons on the control unit. It worked for about 25 minutes, all of a sudden I noticed that I was getting cold. I looked down at the temp control unit...it went off on it own and I didn't even notice. Then I changed fuse # 48 again and also changed # 31. Still working till this moment. Thanks.

@@adriansalgado1882 did you watch full video.? it was just a fuse for my issue.... No power to the control unit. You have power but only one side blows hot. It could be the whole control unit that's faulty on that side or a fan door actuator. Good luck with your repair.

What was the problem? My 2004 BMW x5 dont blow heat just cold air in half the side

I checked mine and still no power to unit and the dam hot fan keeps blowing while the truck is off and i haveto rekove the big red 50 fuse to stay off

Had that on e39...was control unit...and although looks the same as e53 unit, they don't swap out, internal differences
