Hi, TC always makes great objects with great value for money... All these pedals sound very good, but if I can choose three I would say in order: 1) Tube pilot (vintage distortion), 2) Cinders (classic overdrive) , 3) Honey pot (historical fuzz)... Congratulations.
The 2 fuzz pedals are very different, but niether really sound better or worse then the other, so while I prefer the honey pot, I can see plenty of situations the rusty fuzz will work better.
@@micahflanders6789For me the Rusty Fuzz had that little extra but yes it is absolutely a personal preference and love the fact you have taken time out to list your personal choices. Thanks 👍
Yes I saw that and may include it in a Klon Shootout video but the resale value of all of these was 50 percent of what I got them for so these types of videos work out real expensive. Already bought the pedals for an Xotic brand video so that will be the last one we do unless a company literally send us all the stuff. The rusty and tube pilot were definitely great.
We wanted to show the true pure unprocessed sound of these pedals into an amp. We could surely have tweaked them with other modulation or time based effects but then it would not have been an accurate representation of what they actually do out of the box. Many a time in demos it is actually another pedal or guitar or amp making it sound usable. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the support.
@@GuitarGearGyan no my question was why should one go for for such individual pedals and not buy something which is a lot cheaper i.e a guitar processor like a zoom g1xon
@@prabhuslegalhub Ah you meant multi-effects processor. Individual stompboxes are always of a higher quality up until you buy a Line 6 Pod or Helix. Then they are comparable.

Thanks for sharing!
I think tc electronic provides great value for the budget buyers. Appreciate the efforts gone in testing out these pedals.
Great playthrough done by you. Mojo is the ultimate classic. Also so much scope for fuzz.
I've never heard the tube pilot sound decent. You guys made it sound GOOD. nice video, guys.
Thank you so much
That Dark Matter, with the right settings, can be soooooo good!
Its great and will be doing a John Petrucci signature sound budget demo with that pedal.
All pedals are great for the bucks. I really liked the mojo and the honey pot one. Great review.
I really liked the grand magus and the tube pilot. These the so value for money pedals.
Cinders and tube pilot are cream of the crop
They are pretty nice although we also love the El Cambo.
Thanks a lot! That was really informative!
Glad you liked it
Thank you guys! That was flawless.
All best.
Thank you so much
The mojo and el cambo is awesome..
Yes.. I know what I'm getting for Christmas.. Thanks Tulsi..😉
They are both awesome!
My picks from the video:
Overdrive: Cinders
Distortion: Fangs
Fuzz: Honey pot (Only by a little bit)
Nice choice, personally love the El Cambo and the Rusty Fuzz as well.

I liked the Tube Pilot and the Honeypot.
Okay cool, thanks for sharing 👍
cinders ,tube pilot !!sounds great..!!
They certainly do and for the price point the others also sound good.
Damn that Tube Driver is a Screamer 🤯🤯🤯
It sure is.
This was super helpful, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Personally nothing is better than Screamer in drive sec.
Aye, it's personal.
In that case you would love the El Cambo. Will be doing a mega Tube Screamer shootout and will have that on it as well.
@@GuitarGearGyan well waiting then.
Great comparison!
Glad you enjoyed it
A very good video, Guys - I must say that I found it most helpful - Thank-you!!
Glad it was helpful!
Now we have the Zeus Klon :P Time to update it hehehe
Great Job! I have the rusty and pilot, they are essential for me

Saw Ola using that Eyemaster but IMO the Fangs sounded better for metal!
It really does
Yeah, but the eyemaster is specifically for Swedish Death Metal. 🙂 It’s the HM-2 circuit
It makes sense that you'd get signal when they're turned off since they're true bypass right? It's just like a short run of cable in bypass mode
Fantastic video.... Keep making more.... BTW can you please explain why not use a guitar sound modulating processor over such pedals?

Awesome 👏
Thanks
Wooo.. this be one hell of a comparison..😁
Thanks so much
Going good. I have one tc.el fuzz
The Rusty Fuzz was really good as well.
What about the Magus Pro?
Or is that the same as Grand Magus?
The Grand Magus is more of a stacked sound and the Pro is basically a Rat.
what is the music starts on 0:37?
UA-cam copyright free music.
Loved the Cinders & the rest were okay but have heard better.
The Cinders was great but even the rest for the price point were really good.
That Cinders sounded a lot like a Blues Driver, wonder if you can do a side by side comparison
It did and that really would be an interesting comparison.
Tube pilot the most transparent doesn’t change signal cinder next all other blah.
👍🙏
cinder is the more transparent crisp
True
Was wah
thanks
Miss your playing Sahil, pls for the next episode you play something.
Will ensure that her plays for the next one.
The first quarter of the video is nothing. Good vid otherwise. Loved the low gain gag on the tube distortion one
Fair enough
