@@danielrusch2569 they’re being sarcastic. The handling model has its issues but once you get used to it it’s still a fun game so hopefully that helps.
Going to say, since this video I’ve been able to customise my own setups the way I want. Lower floors actually work a dream with soft front anti roll bars. Its allowed me to use lower wing levels and faster times - got a 1.07.839 (first sub 1.08 and was on open lobby) in Brazil with an untested setup, just what I needed in the corners, and great straight line speed. I won’t reveal too much though but really experiment with things and you’ll find out how to setup a car for you driving style. Awesome video and thanks
I used inverted wings early on got it from one of the PS T1 guys and but mainly using close wing gap so like 27-22 with a low front roll bar and low rear ride for good rotation. Mid corner gets a bit understeery at times. I am just lucky i don't have to make the set up lol
I was playing some tt in Abu Dhabi and searching for setups in the leaderboard, when I found one of these kind of setups. At first I tough it was a mistake, but then I tried it, and set a pb with it. I love this idea, it really helps a lot on some tracks!
I personally have been running higher rear wings on all my set ups since I've been league racing in 2020. Reason being I'm on controller and it feels better to me to have my rear end more planted. And I like an understeery car
i recently got smoked at a qatar league race i was running traditional 50 45 while others had the reverse thing going 45 front 50 rear i found out after the race. i didnt get the memo in time
Yooooo thanks for mentioning Formula Setup Base mate! 💙 Also, love your videos. Keep up the good work. You’re doing an awesome job! To let you know - won the WOR T4 PC title last season with that kind of setups. They were way superior to others. Cheers, Dustin - CEO from FSB
@ At least the cars actually had weight in 22. Sure they understeered but that’s how this generation of cars is, they’re 800kg and front end limited. The battery recharge is a joke. The recharge rate in 22 is actually more similar to real life as well. Not like 24 where you recharge in a few corners. The grip was too low and the torque curve was messed up. But F1 22 was STILL more realistic than 24. 24 where you have to manually use overtake on a quali lap (wtf), 24 with built in stability control, infinite front end grip and the worst audio in a F1 game since 2017 (you can literally hear the engine sound effects loop). 22 was a poor simcade game, 24 is a poor arcade one. What makes it worse is that 23 was a decent simcade game and it was followed by this pile of trash. There’s a reason 24 didn’t sell well.
@HughMyron372 look at Qatar hotlap from Vestappen. I wouldn't say theyre front end limited anymore Maybe in 22 when team's were dtill still figuring it out. This gen's car can already outperform the W11 in high speed corners. You could argue the overtake on a hotlap is similar to how teams setup their battery to deploy at key moments during the hotlap. Similar to how they adjust engine mapping over a race distance. Except it's done beforehand through computers but we do it manually with overtake mode. As for the ers recharge, it could be toned down a bit but it allows for better racing. Instead of only being able to attack every 15 laps, you can do it every 2 laps. And in a game about racing, allowing more wheel to wheel racing is a win to me.
@ I mean all the hot lap shows is that the cars have massive levels of downforce at speed. The thing is the peak of the downforce is towards the rear of the car hence why these cars have a more sluggish front end. You can throw it into corners like Max but it’s nothing like the feather light sharp end F1 24 handling. Manually changing ERS modes in quali is ridiculous imo I don’t think the arcade like boost system the ERS has turned into in 24 is good for racing. It has taken away the tactical nature of valuing the battery charge and instead turn it into a brain dead boost system. The game has gone way too arcade and it’s worse for it. 24 was such a letdown after how good 23 was.
I personally hate this new game. I bought it on the day it came out. Like I do every year. And I played it for a little over a month. I really tried to like it. But I just can't. The cars feel so weird. It's like they slide going into the corners. I think it's the engine braking imor something idk. Either way it feels awful and extremely unnatural. So I'm still playing 23. Which I love. It's my favorite handling of all the F1 games I've played. Right now I'm waiting on 25 praying the handling will be better

Hello! At 8:53 you speak about a setup sheet. How could I get access to that sheet? I am curious to try your setup
f1 24 is so realistic guys
Yep. the throttle inputs, steering styles. All very realistic. oh and the handling is a masterpiece
Rly? I am considering buying it, should I? Soo sad that f1 2020 is not available anymore
@@danielrusch2569 buy f1 23. much better game.

Even F1 22 is better than this shit man. How did they make a game so bad from one so good (23)?
You tripping. 22 had 0 turn in, 0 battery recharge, 0 racing and every track was some variation of H-M. Worst game in the recent years by far.
