I have a few fiat's here with faded badges 🙄 so will study the video to see exactly what markers you were using 🤗 Hopefully I can do as good a job as you 😂👍🇮🇪
Protip: put a bit of painters tape or wiggle a scrap of paper behind the badge to get a clean line between the edge of the badge and the paint. Similarly, you can do a rubbing of the badge, cut it out with a razor blade, and overlay it to do the raised bits nice and clean as well. Or ideally, pop the badge off when possible, but that can quickly escalate into a faff if it's taped on.
Pretty good, and definitely better! 😮💨 Are the badges even available for purchase? Seems unlikely. 😬 Is this something that 3D printing might solve for everyone with older cars in their garage in the near future? 🤔 🤷♂️
Thanks again for the pointer to the chrome pen, Jim - I've got one to do the badges on the Jag this weekend. Much appreciated.
Glad to help
Looks much improved
It's funny how the little things make a car much less of a banger
Great job, Jim
Thanks !
Looks great to me. Keep up the good work.
Thanks 👍

Go for the thicker tips, you get less 'Brush Marks'
You did some proper badge engineering.
*badum tss*
Oh well done!!!

Oh ta!
Though will probably do them again when the actual paint has been done
Your FIAT painting skills are definitely better than whoever "matched" the front wing repair LOL!
I think so too!
