I honestly thought you were removing the badges to wrap the Kia gold. 😂 Love the videos Dave keep it up.
Using fishing line has been great for me, but good to know the floss method works too.
Good shout on the fishing line 👌
I like these hints and tips videos, very helpful. When I removed my car badges, I remove the glue with 'De-Solv-it Sticky Stuff Remover'. I bought mine from Halfords 2 years ago and it does the job for me. Just wipe on, leave for about 3 minutes and wipe off and rinse. Repeat if required. 👍
Thank you 🙏
his videos are so detailed
Once again another fantastic and informative video Dave
Thanks Mark
I spent a nice few quid on all different car glass cleaning agent's. Obviously once they sick car on a product the price increases by more than double something even quadruple. Man I thought when you suggested how to do it correctly and it cost nothing I couldn't believe the results. Not a streak 6 weeks later my glass is still better than if I had used the most expensive product on the market. I said it before, Dave, but you are #THEMAINMAN
Another great video as usual dave 👏 👍
Thanks mate
Thank you for the great informative video Dave 👍🏻
Cheers Karl 🙏
I like the floss trick. I always have 3M adhesive remover on hand.
Weird this popped up today just done mine with a toffee wheel 😂😂👍👍🤙🏻
The matrix is watching 😅
Brilliant thank you
Another string to the bow … wash, wax and blow dry 😉
Best thing for removing glue is initially try panel wipe and if thats not working go a bit more aggressive and use 2K thinner. Neither of these is any more riskier than using a heat gun. Use the wipe / thinner on a cloth. As long as paintwork is not in prolonged contact with either liquid it will not get damaged.
Hi love your videos I would like to ask you what is the best car shampoo I use ceramic sealant hope you can help thanks
I came here for the gold chrome Kia. Brilliant video
🤣
WD 40 works great on removing the sticky residue. Have done that a few times removing mine, I followed with rubbing alcohol, so all good to stick the new ones on 😇
Hi Dave, How would you remove Superglue residue please?
Dave, the P40 go, is it a good machine? For car wash, mainly once a week? The other models just Overkill? Or would you stretch to another model? Cheers
Grate video Dave, but i would have personaly use maksing tape and tape messure so the badge can be aligned proberly. Any way grate video
What would you use to stick the badge back on?
hi what are the top insurances you would say to be needed when first starting out ?
I used to do it during lockdown, I used to just have liability insurance
How safe is it to point out an heatgun directly to paintwork?
Keep it 6 to 8 inches from the surface at a slight angle to the lettering and on a medium heat setting, and you'll be fine.
Haha got to the end and for once, he isnt just pointing at nothing and a video actually came up 😅
? That's funny I add video links at the end of every video without fail, not sure why it wouldn't show up
Oh. Im not sure but the majority i watch, one doesnt pop up.
DO NOT HEAVE THE HEAT GUN IN ONE SPOT KEEP IT MOVING - TO WHOEVER IS DOING THIS. IT MAY CAUSE THE PAINT TO BURN!
