It's moving day at the unit with a few cars coming out of hibernation and a few going in for a little while Well we need to move some cars around and all does not go well as Sion crashes one mid manoeuvre! We may have to look at the numbers of cars soon and have a little thinning of the herd as its too easy to say yes to a new purchase thinking 'This will make a great video'
A week with the Dacia Jogger in Lanzarote 2025
Переглядів 2 тис.14 днів тому
We return to Lanzarote a year later and explore the island with the Dacia Jogger again but this time we go for base model brilliance with the 5 seater that's minus a lot of the mod cons from last year's top of the range 'Extreme' version. What is it like to live with, and what is it like to drive?

Restoring Faded Badges on the Fiat Tipo
I am from Northern Ireland and I am registered blind with very little eyesight but I still like listening to videos about cars. I remember my dad having a yellow Kaddett version of this car except his was a hatchback. Really enjoyed watching your videos on this car. I remember my father‘s car having an interior which had checked green and coloured seats and the seats and those were like a sort of cloth vilure type. Is the seats in your Astra the same type or are they more of a fabric hard tweed? Thanks again guys.
Such a great story!! I'm Smart Roadster addicted and am dreaming of driving one all across the US.
Love watching your vids guy's you always make me laugh. Back in the early 90"s I almost bought a Cavalier but it was a saloon as I preferred that shape, great cars
I remember as a teenager being on message boards with loads of Brits and getting this weird I-HOPesque mental image of Little Chef. It's sad they aren't around anymore for me to experience at some point. At least I got to satisfy my decades-long curiosity about Nandos!😂
I kind of want to go to a Little Chef birthday party 😂
Looks like you two had a great trip to Norwich. I tend to stay away these days as the traffic is ridiculous! Good to see you with "your people" but yes, a jubilee pancake in the Little Chef would have been better!
Might one make a suggestion - take a look at the review by @Electrifying of the new Grande Panda ;-) ua-cam.com/video/lXsjRwYyd3w/v-deo.htmlsi=clSoJbrcrQvByZK2
Nice to see you have fun over in my neck of the woods! If I wasn't smashing my head into a computer screen in an office (just across the river from Amaretto actually) all day Fridays then it would have been lovely to grab a slice or a cuppa with you two!
Great video! One of the Little Chef's became Herbie's American Diner on the A14 (or the old A14 possibly now but you can still get to it) near Swavesey. You could do worse than motor down there in a Vauxhall Cavalier and have some hot dogs and twisty fries. Sadly four different grades of Olympic Breakfast are no longer available.
Please please invest in recording equipment where you look straight at the camera rather than the screen. You are always looking over my left shoulder when you talk.
I love all these random type of sights. Also the Cavalier is looking great.
And not far from the concrete keyboard is an original Thomas Crapper drain cover. You missed that little jewel!
Well, that was delightful…thank you!
Lovely trip, guys. Norwich looks nice, I didn't expect that 👍🏼😃
The first 3 seconds already got the like. the rest didn't dissapoint! 2 horses in one video, not only potatoe, but also a white mustang at 2:52
You guys are just the best couple, have soo much fun. ❤
Ah The Little Chef I used to love them
Be careful with those grab handles! One snapped off on my old '82 Cav SR 🤣
Jim, you made tea come out of my nose! Potaaato!
We have a 2007 panda. I used to hate it for being a little sh*tbox, but it has grown on me tremendously. You can take it apart super easy with like 3 tools and fix most of it with a youtube video. I spent a week during summer stripping the inside and adding soundproofing which made the car stereo sound great. this car is great bang for your buck. I had problems with rust at the backseat bolts that go through the car into the wheel arch but that was a decently easy clean and fix.
I think you should find as many ULEZ zones you can drive through with coffee and cake in each one 😅
Most of them are ULEZ compliant due to age
New Jersey petrol? I think mine will be Connecticut petrol…
Hopefully get some of the kings own in it this week
Looks like one of my old days in the basement at work.
It's not that bad yet!!!!
@@alsodriven 🤣
Love your collection. I envy you so much!!! Greetings from Italy, guys
Oh thank you!
The noise the TT made is the secondary air pump. It's basically an emissions thing that sits at the front of the engine, you can 'rebuild' them to quieten them down or leave, its nothing major. I had a coupe in the same spec (miss it) which did the same. Edit: Forgot to say. Love the channel 😊
Thank you! That's a relief that it's not going to explode lol
Psh, that's just a lil love tap into a wall! A bit over a year ago, my husband was rearranging the family car storage when he backed his dad's Pantera into his RX7. Luckily, the Pantera won, and it was the racecar RX7 that's hit a thousand cones before, so the damage was survivable. And it launched that RX7 into an oddessy of being fixed and upgraded that has now rendered it nearly impossible for me to drive due to being short😂
I'm pretty sure the Audi will get a new number plate and that's it lol Too many cars to make them all perfect
It’s so funny seeing that Vermont plate in your UK setting… as a resident of the state, it’s just part of the scenery here.
Amazingly the 500L is pretty rust free for 10 years in Vernont!
Jim, Siôn might i suggest keeping a 100+ah leisure battery in the barn on a solar trickle charger. Sometimes my jump pack just wont play ball and turn green so the LB and hd diesel jump leads say hi 😄.
That's actually a really good idea!!!
Though I think that jump pack was was unbelievably crap and the look on Siôn's face suggests that it may be wasn't charged as recently as he thinks
@@alsodriven mine works ok most of the time, just not the times when I'm in a bit of a rush 😄. It's that light flashing red AND green instead of solid green...
Do you leave the handbrake on when you park these up? 🤨 My aunt, who lived in the Alps, would never use her handbrake in winter for fear it would freeze on. It’s an “old geezer’s” trick, apparently. 🤷♂️
Oh god no... They would never move again if we did that
Christ on a bike... How many cars do you own? Loving that I found the channel. Hubnut will be jealous
Too many... It's all UA-cams fault
Nice collection, I need a barn like that! :)
It's a blessing and a curse
I love that Cav. Miss my last one like crazy!
It's lovely, really lovely
Lads, I really want to play with a MicroLino, I've loved them since the concept was announced, they're completely impractical for my use case, but they're so bloody cute and they look like great fun to drive,
The refinement isn't what we expected from a 21k car
Jenga... or Tetris?
Bit of both lol
Love the mint Microlino!
It's a lovely bit of retro
Hello chaps! x
Hello!
That Cavalier sounds so sweet!
It's a peach
Let’s have the Astra out for a drive please .
As soon as the road have less salt on them. We did take it to France last year ua-cam.com/video/LUke4ck9FME/v-deo.htmlsi=ddKDzYUpdbEPXb2I
Next time I see you both I'll have a few words to say about the TT...🤣
Well I wanted new number plates anyway
Oops 😜😜🤣🤪
Indeel lol
👍👍👍👍
The brakes bind on a FIAT when its left stationary because they are built to be driven hard every day
This is probably true I should check with @roadsterlife lol
That’s far from base trim. Uk base trim is wheel trims, black door handles, no touch screen and no cloth on the dash. Also uk 1.0l is the direct injection tce 110 with more torque so less under powered
Specification varies a lot from country to country but it's much more basic than the last Jogger we rented and we love it's Base Model Brilliance
Should have got the 1.6 hybrid auto. Goes like shit off a shovel
Unfortunately not available to rent
@@alsodriven that’s a shame. It has the right balance of economy and power. Love your channel by the way. The pair of you together have good symmetry and flow. Good mates make good content
Love the intro ! Nice
Coming soon - GTA: Lanzarote
Lol Thanks folks 🙏
I have a slight preference to the new Vauxhall Frontera and Citroen C3 Aircross, which does have 2 different setups for the second row seats, the 5 seater gets more room, but the same fuss free nature.
Think a few more car companies need to take a leaf out of Dacia book of how to price cars
Bring back 1.6 petrol mk1 berlingo plse
That boat has long sailed unfortunately
You boys have all the fun! 😭❤
Fun is a lot of effort lol
Went to order Jogger having looked at it and really liked it when we got wife Sandero in 2023. But when I went in to check out further end of last year and order one discovered some things that didn't suit my chronic back issues (having taken one in the rear a couple of times in the 80s 🤭 ). Seats were a little firm on the base but worst I couldn't adjust the seating arrangements in the back due to weight and size and from grandchildren to loads and back. Shame as we love wife's Sandero, just a bit small for me. Took the Sandero for a week in Killarney when she got it. Filled the LPG and petrol in Norn Irn and in 900+ miles didn't use any petrol until Banbridge on the way home for a few miles when it clicked over! Got LPG (off motorway) on the way down, then after overnight in Cork. Filled again in Tralee couple of times. Fill there leaving took us cross country to Banbridge. Cost £85, way cheaper than petrol in the comparison app. Previous time we went in an EV at £125 and spent many more hours refuelling. Got Skoda now with less seats that fold on touch of button. 😁
Its strange how back pain varies so much from person to person The Kia is fine for me but kills Siôn
Nice car. Back to basics motoring. The Jogger seems quite popular in Northern Ireland. For info the button with the 'A' symbol is to switch off the auto stop/start, not air conditioning.
Oh thanks! We never touched it as unlike a lot of cars the auto stop start worked quite well
