I think you forgot to mention an important feature of Vizref, you can also import a .GIF and see it frame by frame for still references from animations! (I don't see any other app do that so I think it was important to just point it out) :D
Coolers cost money so I recommend an app called pigments wich is litterly the same. And it's free. EDIT:sorry everyone i dont think it on apple :( but im sure there are lots of other free ones you can find!:)
It’s all about convenience I rather carry around my IPad with all my paper and tools in the device. So what’s a few more dollars to make the screen feel like paper. At least I won’t have to lug around drawing pads and a box with all my tools that I would need
I wish I can download vizref for android, and plus I don't even have an iPad or iOS, and I don't even have the money to afford the apps I need to be an artists, they said I need to pay dollars but I am from a different country 😔😔😔
One thing I found to be a sorta helpful tip for color palettes is: head on down to the home depot paint dept, pick up the paint combination booklets ( I have all of them), scan them and use them as color pallettes. Sometimes I boost the saturation but for color combo visualizing, it's feels like window shopping versus struggling brain torture. ;-)
Interior Design app for creating interiors. Especially nice if you’re drawing comics and want to draw different views of the same room in different panels.
It's not an ipad app, but I use a VR program called gravity sketch to pose and light mannequins quickly, they can be life size and I can move around to make sure the pose looks natural. When you find the best angle you use the camera tool choose how wide angle and snap some shots like a real camera.
The ref organization... WHAT A LIFE SAVER OMG 😂 I never thought to use that at all. Thanks for this video, life just got easier. I'm still a new IPad and Apple user
that Manikin app looks pretty cool. downloading that. Pinterest has a pretty decent iPad app, if you are looking for inspiration. It has some issues: it is almost impossible to follow individual pinners, and it is chock full of ads. But it is great for just flipping through and tucking images into your personal boards
Beside the must have procreate, the go to one's are, ArtStation, magic poser, anatomy 3D, this lay one is medical reference but man oh man, being able to see skeleton and muscles in layers from any angle helps a ton.
There's this app called "Handy", is a reference tool with 3D models of skulls, hands, etc. Its a bit abandoned by the devs, but is still a very good tool.
All you folks with your Androids....go find a UA-camr that uses Android! Brad is a professional artist and he has chosen IOS as his platform. Don't beg him to do Android stuff. Plus, once he gives you the IOS version, google an Android one yourself. Come on, help yourself!!! (if you would also take the effort to look through Brad's playlists, you'll see that 7 months ago he did talk about Android drawing apps.)
He reviews Android as well so maybe I’ll make a video like this for android if not there’s probably similar features her name droid now and check them on my Chromebook Sampson and
Also there's a new app in production called Artfol! I think it has a ton of potential. I recommend it for all the artists out there getting screwed by terrible algorithm
Any mocap apps for 2d animation? Also is there a 3d modeling app for iOS where one can create a character, rig and provide movement to 3d character (basically like blender on ipad)?
Hey Sunil, we are working an on Android release right now. If everything is right you can already find us on the google play store and preregister if you would like to use it as soon as we release.
Vizref has honestly been a lifesaver and helps to keep my regular photo albums from being cluttered. Now I just hoard all my references and inspiration pics in the Vizref folders :')
It sucks that iOS doesn’t let you make a wishlist for the App Store… it’s a stupid and bizarre thing to remove. It’s probably losing them money too, because I’m much more likely to buy apps if I can actually remember which ones I wanted on pay day!
A sad viewer is watching this to know what apps to use But their pocket is screaming at them about how they don't even have money to order McDonald's milkshake

Get Your Paperlike here: paperlike.com/BC11
And don't forget their free procreate brushes: paperlike.com/dynamic-environment-brush-set
Is it worth getting Vizref for 10.2” iPad, or is it to small?
U should make one for android
Brad Colbow ordered mine back in June and am still waiting for the shipment notification. 😿
I've been hearing about Paperlike for a long time now, and let me ask this, does it feel as good as the screen on the Wacom One?
For fonts I use two apps any font for installing system level and fantasy for cataloging /finding

Thanks for letting us know
Thanks...great point.
Photoshop can do it as well, but I guess that’s limited to photoshop/icloud users.
and actually I don't understand really why he call's this apps "Apps Every Artist Needs", literally some of them has free analogues that doing more
You and I have different perspectives about the word “need”.
I "need" you though

it's just a clickbait title.

Is this app still on the app store? I'm not seeing it anymore!
Same here, seems to be missing.
I don't want to draw on paper

"spend more dollars on paperlike"

"Coolers" has the same amount of Os as "color" tho.

The apps actually called coolors lol

life saver! thanx!, was wondering beacause with "board" word alone appstore shows lot of crap apps and games
@@zfura I had to watch that section the video again to try to see what the app is actually called.
I downloaded Morpholio Board on a Mac desktop, but it doesn’t do 3D turnarounds. Does it only work for the iPad?
