The leds are fed off the mainboard not the lvds cable look in the bottom corners for the cable, and the leds need 80v+ to light
Thx for the reply. But, why 80V? It's a small one ;). The max consumption power is 40W. 24" and 80V?, hmm... weird. This looks like an edge backlight, not a full LED to me. And, that would be too much IMHO.
@@screen-protector yes there edge lit and 80v was a rough assumption, and yes they are edge lit, look at the caps on the screen board for shorts, I think it’s corrupt firmware, check voltages on coils you should have 12/5/3.3/ volts at least
@@wisher21uk thank you. But, it's too cheap and so this customer won't pay what is worth to fix. If I'll charge him more than £30 he might say no. And this is my hourly rate for the repairs. So, it's a no-fix in this case, sorry. Only if he'd not pick up, I can get 1 apprentice and they can do it.
