I always enjoy your videos. Always something new to learn. I couldn't help but giggle as I watched you knead your bread. It looked like you were teach that dough a lesson!
Kevin, I love your videos. Avery, Binky and Goldie are precious. The floral arrangement is lovely. Harvesting in the gardens is fun and interesting. The bread looked so delicious. I love your gardens. You gave me a great idea with the lettuce root. Beautiful piano music. I could visit with you every day.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Kevin! Greetings from Wales. Thank you so much for your videos; they lift my mum's spirits. And today I'm making your bread in my Pullman tin, minus the lid! Keep em coming! X
Kevin, I really enjoy watching you. Your cooking and gardening are educational and entertaining. You have such a calming way about you that relaxes me. Ty😊
That was quite the storm you had Kevin. It has been a strange summer weather wise. I enjoy seeing you harvest all the vegetables and flowers from your kitchen garden and creating delicious recipes with them. Avery, Binky and Goldie are very entertaining. Thanks Kevin🇨🇦❤️
Bonjour Kevin, The summer weather has not been kind to our gardens in this area (eastern townships of Quebec). MIldew everywhere, but was still able to harvest some very tasty tomatoes, green peppers, hot peppers, kale and swiss chard. It's been a challenge, but we do not despair, us gardeners:)
Hi Kevin thank you for today's video. I have missed several of your videos lately. Our beautiful Himalayan cat, Itty Bitty crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. He came to us when our neighbors passed 3 years ago. He was a joy. Seeing your happy fur family warmed my heart. Your garden is wonderful. I also plant zinnias from seed since the butterflies seem to love them. I will try planting the lettuce heart in a pot since it is very humid here in SW Florida now. Your energy and kind spirit makes my day.
I live in the Houston Texas area and I have given up on gardening here. If it isn’t the extreme temperatures it’s pests of all kinds. I give up Texas!!!! You win.
Kevin, recently I purchased a Le Creuset round bread pan from Williams Sonoma. It was splurge but totally worth it when I made your bread recipe. That was some of the best bread I've ever eaten! Mine was a round loaf and it had just the right amount of crunch on the outside. It was so good. Thanks again for your videos. I'm transported to someplace sweet and calm when I get to visit with you.
I love the purple zinnia bouquet! The BLT is probably my top favorite end of summer sandwich.. Kind of a tradition during tomato harvesting season. Interesting addition of the basil salt. I will need to try. A Tuscany tomato bacon and lettuce sandwich. Good tip on replanting the root of the lettuce. The home style white bread of course looks devine. But the roasted salsa looks perfectly delicious! I have been making the black bean burger recipe you featured on a previous episode, and instead of ketchup I sometimes use salsa on the burger. Just thought I'd mention it. Thank you for the mini concert. I appreciate hearing your exquisite playing of the grand piano. Fun to see the roughhousing and ball action on the stairs. Everyone got into the act this time around. Avery, Binky, and Goldie are so cute and wonderful. Avery's eyeballs peering over the food preparation on the kitchen counter is adorable. I like the mini Cosmo to test the salsa. It will be interesting to see how you use up the rest of the tomatoes. Would you ever make sun dried tomatoes and pack in olive oil? I'm not sure if that's something easy to make, but I like them, and often are expensive at the store. (Everything's expensive at the store.) Also I wonder if you have ever made green fried tomatoes? Something for the end of the growing season to use up the green tomatoes still growing on the vine before the cold sets in. They always make me think of going to the state fair. Fair food. Served with ranch dip. Anyway, sorry to ramble on here. Thank you for the wonderful video. Take care and have a great Sunday and week.♥️🥪💐🍅🍞🧄🫑🧅🍸🎹🐕🐈⬛🐈
Hi Kevin This video was over too quickly😢I don’t eat white bread but if I did it would be yours. The loaf was beautiful. Always happy to see Avery’s sweet head peaking up near the counter. Have w wonderful week❤
Great video and I adore Avery sitting by the kitchen when you had freshly baked bread. It looked like perfection to me! Your flower arrangement for your guest was beautiful, as always! 💯💝
Two things I always thought were challenging to make... bread and salsa. You made it look so easy, and I want to try the salsa now that you've provided the tutorial.
Good timing for me, Kevin! Roasted, or blackened salsa is my favorite style, and my favorite brand seems to have disappeared from the grocery store shelves. I'm pretty picky about my salsa, so I may just be giving your fresh version a try. You are such a class act❣️ The Zany Zinnea arrangement is just right. I used to grow a Basil patch every year, but no longer. Instead I support my sort of local farmer. He delivers (from Pennsylvania) to my house every week and a small group of locals pick their orders up from my house. I love being involved with that. You inspired me to order a passel of basil, which I processed with evoo, batched, covered with a layer of evoo, and froze. I repeated the order for this week's delivery and did it again! I think I'm well stocked for the next 6 months or so. (It's my favorite secret soup ingredient. Just a little.) This is the time of year for BLT's because of garden fresh tomatoes and I always use butter lettuce, but so much of it that it falls out into the plate and becomes finger food! I'll be adding basil sauce to my next BLT❣️ You made that bread so easily, you've obviously been making it for a long time. I'm glad your garden wasn't totally demolished by the rain storm. We've been getting thunder storms and downpours of rain here (Maryland) also. On one level I'm grateful for the rain because typically August is very dry. Of course too many people have been adversely affected. Maybe you saw the video of a whole house being washed into a waterway! Take care, dear heart.
Thank you, Mr. Kevin! Everything looks top-shelf and delicious! I've saved this video to my Pinterest board under 'Bread' because your loaves, and every other kind of bread you bake, turn out fantastic. You have the best instructions and recipes. Another easy way to roast your vegs is to do it in a pan with a tiny bit of oil, that way you don't have to heat up the kitchen with the oven. Best wishes to you and Mr. Fox and to all your sweet fur-children! 😊💖🙏🏻🌹
Not meaning to be irreverent in any way, but when you asked what variety of zinnias we use, I can truly answer Dollar General 50 cent an envelope variety. They grow to be four feet tall and beautiful. Also I had inexpensive sunflowers, again from bargain store seed envelopes, that come up every year after I take deadheads with seeds and sprinkle them over good garden soil. These were great for a while, but later in the season, they come up gnarly like the zinnias will, so I used other greenery for stability in my arrangements. Sunflowers are inexpensive and you only need to plant from seed once because they seed generously every year! I feel like you understand my lifestyle choices and will continue to follow your wonderful videos. Thanks, Kevin.
My tomatoes look even worse! We had 3 weeks of almost nonstop rain and it took its toll. However, my peas went crazy! They are 5 feet tall, full of beautiful blossoms, and the pea pods are beginning to show! I love to share gardening news with you, Kevin!!!
Dear Kevin....that is why all great chefs are noble souls...sorted out and with high EQ😂...they vent out their misgivings on things like slamming the dough!!! Absolutely loved the video...thanks once more
As always...mouthwatering food along with detailed information. Gorgeous flowers 💐 always in view, and the special treat of you playing the piano 🎹 I smile through the entire video 😊
Hello Kevin, I watched this video twice and followed your bread recipe. To my amazement your bread recipe is the very first that came out perfectly! I have several bread cookbooks - and can bake anything but bread is iffy for me. Thank you for an amazing and easy recipe. This will be my new go-to sandwich bread recipe from now on!
Another fun video - thanks. I love to roast the plum tomatoes I grow to put on homemade pizza in place of sauce. I also add roasted garlic and fontina cheese.
Thank you Kevin this looks delicious I'm going to try! It's so nice of you to use the measurements and grams they don't do that for us the same way that you do but that is your kind nature I really struggle with recipes because they just speak in grams normally so I have to do the break down on my own but I always think it's so nice of you You're one of the few that offers that.
This is a great video Kevin. Thanks for including cameos of the fur babies. They are very happy indeed. I'd love to try your salsa recipe. It looks so good. You certainly got a lot of beautiful fresh tomatoes. I would love to try your bread recipe. Yesterday, someone brought me some zucchini and I made a loaf with it. I peeled an apple and grated it and put it in the recipe and it turned out very moist and tasty. You've given us lots of great ideas and I look forward to your next video.
so glad I found this channel- your voice is so mesmerizing- I swear my blood pressure goes down every time I watch you plus your recipes look amazing and none are very hard- - will be making one of your soups (veggie in the snow day episode) as soon as the leaves start to turn
Can I join you for salsa and chips? Your garden is so handy....and it isn't it great to grow your own fresh vegetables! Goldie with the little orange ball, Binky bouncing up the stairs, and Avery looking up at Dad as he cooks....wonderful furry family. I could smell the bread at my house. I enjoyed the sandwich right along with you. I learned a new way to freeze tomatoes....thanks for that!
Good morning Kevin. Greetings from Costa Rica. I love following your channel as we learn easy and delicious recipes as well as a calm and elegant type of life. All the best❤
Yes, I love the idea of "dough-slamming!" Very original and effective! Any time I can see Avery, Goldie, and Binkie, I am happy! Thank you for your great recipes! I love them!
Our summer has been awful. Record heat and terrible bug pressure took out most of my tomatoes. I did get a pretty good harvest for canning but not what I expected. Hurricane Beryl damaged most of my pollinator garden with strong winds and 14” of rain. Cucumbers got damaged too but I did get several quarts of various pickles. Now I just have peppers and okra. It felt like 114 degrees here last week. It’s hard to keep up the energy to work. I’m 76 and the heat bothers me more each year. But I’m hardheaded so I will forge ahead. I’m sitting here ordering my tomato seeds 😅 I love your videos. God bless you.
Hi Kevin! My husband and I love your videos. He is from the Hudson New York area. His brother lives in Valatie, my husband actually grew up in Kinderhook and went to ICABOD CRANE HIGH SCHOOL!! Seeing the beautiful scenery reminds him of home!! Your home is beautiful and look forward to your holiday decorations this season!!
It's a joy to harvest a lot of tomatoes and beautiful flowers. The result of gorgeous bread is stunning. The heartwarming sight of cute cat and dog playing together is truly delightful.
The storms and flooding in my area really took its toll on my garden, especially the tomatoes. Also, the woodchuck who just moved in did even more damage. Beautiful floral arrangements.
Hello Kevin, I hope that you are well Now I’m watching your video of how to make a white loaf. I think that i haven’t seen it before. But I can’t wait for new videos from you Have a good night You are the Best With love 🐝
Hello Mr Kevin, did you ever think about teaching a Masterclass for entertaining, flower arranging and easy cooking ? Also one for gardening? Greetings from Chicago.
Kevin -- thank you for the idea with the lettuce root! I will start planting those in my garden too. Your salsa looks delicious. Can hardly wait to give it a try. I love seeing Avery, Pinky and Goldie playing on your stairway . . . they are sooo fun to watch between your daily events. Thank you for another wonderful video.
I absolutely love your channel and am inspired to have zinnias in my garden next year! I love your recipes and your hospitality for showing us your amazing home and decor.
Love your videos. It’s nice to see that your garden is still doing so well. Down here in Northern Alabama we have 100° temperatures every day. The growing season on my tomatoes and peppers has come to a near end. Although we do start harvesting tomatoes, etc. in May. We have a different growing zone than you do up north. I grew zinnias, and they were beautiful the variety was bloom and bloom again. I grew them from seed indoors; they are at the end of the growing season as well. Thank you for your videos. I also love the towel. ❤❤
Dear Kevin….i really could watch you all day. Your podcasts are delightful and inspiring. As I don’t have a garden, I do have a local farmers market and I will be getting everything to make the Roma tomato salsa. So I must depart to make several of your recipes. Thank you so much for sharing so very much.
I would love to see your color theme change from that MS green to a calming French Blue for your intro. Also, I prefer a brioche to a white bread for French toast. I think everyday white is a little bland
What a beautiful video, Kevin. Thank you for giving everyone a peek into your life, and all of the inspiration in the kitchen and the garden. I made your peach galette today ( previous video) and enjoyed your recipes presented today. Now I know what I can do with all of my jalapeños. I will look back and find your basil salt recipe, you made it look essential to the BLT! Thanks for sharing your piano playing also. 😊
I’m headed to the Greenstalk vertical garden to get some of our tomatoes and basil to make a BLT now. 😁 we grew a variety of salad greens in a wide deck bowl that lasted through the summer this year. And we keep oven baked bacon in the fridge & freezer after we bake up a couple packs . The only thing I’m missing is your freshly baked bread 🍞. Store bought will have to do . 😊
WoW! What a harvest! It's no surprise it's so good because you took such care in starting those beds. Have a peaceful Sunday, keep cool. We're getting the heat and humidity back this coming week also.
I love your garden. I used to try to grow a few vegetables, but the critters in my area eat them before I can get a good crop. Now I just buy from a local produce grower. No more stress. 😊
Hurricane Debby came through my corner of upstate New York too, but my tiny porch garden was not disturbed, thankfully. I’ll be harvesting basil for pesto today. Thank you Kevin for another charming video.
Kevin, great sandwich - I make the " ultimate tomato sandwich" mix i part pesto and 3 parts mayo and spread on toasted multi-grain bread, the top with your best tomato slices
Try Dukes mayo on your BLT, and tea sandwiches & you'll never go back to the "other" kinds... This video was inspiring as always, and your making bread so quickly too! Ummm
Weather has been devastating on my garden this year. The tomatoes have been ravaged by late blight . My zinnias are doing well. I planted Pacific giants. Roasted garden salsa looks delicious
Hi Kevin, I look forward to your videos every week. I am 86 years young and not a very good cook. Especially loved this video as it showed many of your talents! You are an amazing person. Just wondering if you have days where 😢you can just relax-read, play piano, play with your pets, etc. No chores😂
Your tomato harvest is wonderful Kevin! I enjoyed seeing you make salsa with roasted veggies--Yum. I do grow zinnias and I don't recall the variety as they were sent to me by a friend in Canada. We are zinnia sisters! Give your sweet kitties and Avery a smooch from me.
YOUR guest bedroom flower arrangement is the best ever. That pop of color which i love for a lip stick. ❤ Flowers make ne smile. Just love your videos.
Kevin, try your wonderful roasted salsa atop a piece of cod or any white fish. Pop into the oven until cooked & Voila! You have fish Vera Cruz. Delish.
Oh, Kevin, it is so wonderful to see the green leaves and the trees and the grass and the pictures of the rain storm for many of us are in apartments and we never get to see those beautiful natural things... In fact, many of us probably yearn to be able to walk about in a garden and see the wonders of growing things and flowers and so on!!! Thank you for bringing this to all of us!!! It's also so incredibly wonderful to see such happy pets running and jumping and rolling around and playing! What a lovely world you've created for yourself and us, Kevin!!! Geez, that's a beautiful tomato on your BLT. A lot of the tomatoes, in the stores, are yellow inside and yours was so beautifully red throughout. Good job on growing great tomatoes!!!
Wow, I did not know Hurricane Debby hit upstate NY where you live, it did a lot of damage not far from where I live in southwest Florida, Sarasota County. I love zinnias, and that bread looks delicious.
Hello Kevin! We had blight in our garden too, I will grow only blight resistant varieties next year outside, the tomatoes inside greenhouse escaped. I am going to make your salsa recipe, and the bread I think I will toast a few slices for the salsa to go on! You’re such a special person Kevin I love to just relax and enjoy your house, garden and piano playing! And your bread always comes out perfectly, sending you my love from UK
Thank you for sharing your life with us! You are such a kind, gentile soul! I love zinnias! I love the cut and come again variety but in past years have had them grow shoulder height! I can’t wait to try your bread and salsa recipe! You inspired me. I am off to make a BLT! ❤
Wow...sorry about the tomatoes.. But BOY did you get a good harvest! Romas are my favorite tomato. Goldy and Avery and Binky were sure spunky on the stairs today😊!! The bread looked great!. Have a good week ❤
I follow Derek Sarno who is converting a chicken farm to a mushroom farm. I read an article from the University of Pennsylvania on what to do with spent mushroom substrate. Supposedly it is good to put around the base of tomatoes and apples to control blight and scab.
Love your recipes and garden! We got heavy rain in NC for a week from the hurricane and it killed my spinach, but the tomatoes and green peppers are doing well.
I don't know how you always are thinking about the same as I am. I made a sourdough bread. yesterday. Not a lot of rise for sandwiches but makes great toast so this is welcome. Yes, my mom and grandma made a classic whiite bread a lot. Mine is now rising, looks wonderful. I used buttermilk, only change and honey. instead of sugar. I also picked ripening tom. We had a lot of rain but no humidity as you know about Spokane. I'm making pickled red onions and salsa with chicken tortilla soup today. Chow.
When I want to feel happy, I watch your show. Yes, it does bring joy.
The dough slamming portion of today's video was very satisfying 😂😂
😂😂😂 so you should make lots of bread !!!😂
I always enjoy your videos. Always something new to learn. I couldn't help but giggle as I watched you knead your bread. It looked like you were teach that dough a lesson!
Yes I love it too.❤
Love seeing the animals and hearing the beautiful piano music
Kevin, I love your videos. Avery, Binky and Goldie are precious. The floral arrangement is lovely. Harvesting in the gardens is fun and interesting. The bread looked so delicious. My weekly inspiration is Kevin Lee Jacob’s!
I watch you live your quiet life and it makes me realize money means nothing if you have peace of mind, like you have.
I just love this video! They are all my favorites, but this is one of my favorite favorites! 🥰
Hi Kevin! Greetings from Wales. Thank you so much for your videos; they lift my mum's spirits. And today I'm making your bread in my Pullman tin, minus the lid!

The Zynias are standing like proud survivors 😂!!😅

That salsa looks fantastic! Happy sunday, Kevin!
Sure does! I want a bite 😋

Kevin, that was a world class BLT. Yum, yum, yum yum yum.
Great video!!! So much content, recipes etc!!!!! Thanks Kevin
That sandwich looks fantastic! You could also make panzanelle with the tomatoes and bread when the bread starts to get stale.

Hello Mr Kevin, did you ever think about teaching a Masterclass for entertaining, flower arranging and easy cooking ? Also one for gardening? Greetings from Chicago.
Good tip with the serrated grapefruit spoon for getting seeds out of jalepenos. I want to make this recipe. Looks fresh and delicious

The flowers on your work station are particularly beautiful in this video. Love from Rome❤
French toast for dinner is always in order !
I love your towel too, in fact, I love all the utensils you have
Hurricane Debby came through my corner of upstate New York too, but my tiny porch garden was not disturbed, thankfully. I’ll be harvesting basil for pesto today. Thank you Kevin for another charming video.
Thanks Kevin! Yay for summer. Fall is approaching 😮
Kevin, great sandwich - I make the " ultimate tomato sandwich" mix i part pesto and 3 parts mayo and spread on toasted multi-grain bread, the top with your best tomato slices
Thank you, Kevin, for your videos! ❤
I've never seen your oven broiler method to char the veggies. Looks easier than a Mexican comel pan... which also works well. Salsa, yum!!
Hola desde Madrid. Me gustan tus vídeos...👏👏
The sandwich looks delicious!
Love your videos Kevin. Thank you for taking time and inviting us into your beautiful home❤
I could listen to you play piano all day. Thank you for this lovely video. ❤
I swear you use to be a Chef, Florist, Interior/Exterior Designer in a past life!!😊
Wow, I did not know Hurricane Debby hit upstate NY where you live, it did a lot of damage not far from where I live in southwest Florida, Sarasota County.
Thank you for a delightful time spent with you. I love the produce from your vegetable garden. It gives one such a feeling of accomplishment.
Kevin your homemade bread looks beautiful. And now I have to make a BLT tonight. Lovely video as always!
I follow Derek Sarno who is converting a chicken farm to a mushroom farm. I read an article from the University of Pennsylvania on what to do with spent mushroom substrate. Supposedly it is good to put around the base of tomatoes and apples to control blight and scab.
Здравствуйте,Кевин!Вы мастер своего дела!
Love your recipes and garden! We got heavy rain in NC for a week from the hurricane and it killed my spinach, but the tomatoes and green peppers are doing well.
You are a wonder! So skilled in so many areas! Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
Kevin, I do a very similar salsa but I smoke all of the veges first, add cilantro and lime at the end! Lovely❤❤❤
Cheers friend, always a a lovely part of my day when you show up
🥂🥂
Kevin your. Bread looks perfect. Everything you do seems perfect.
I would eat the bread with butter and a cup of tea. From S Africa
Chow.
