      @C b what? Lol... that's silly. Do you mean if the officer doesn't suspect you have narcotics on you then you don't have to worry about the dogs? I guess, but k-9 are all trained to detect the location of narcotics. They don't need the dog to get a search warrant issued. You saying "no" to a request to search is enough probable cause for the affidavit in order to warrant a search. It is "reason to suspect concealment". The key in this situation is that if he is not charging you with any crime at that point then he cannot detain you until the warrant comes. They try, but "if I am not currently under arrest on any charges I would like to exersize my right to be free to go" are powerful words... They will tell you " put your keys on the hood" or "have a seat on the curb" or some shit like that to imply you cannot leave but when you say those words, they have to release you

      sadly knowing and guarding your rights is often not enough... as new laws are written every day as an attempt to whittle each and every right we have into the ground.... want examples.. look at ANY gun law written in the last 5 to 10 years... and then look at how prevelent those forbiden items still are when criminals are caught or killed after using those items on the public... now admitedly gun laws do serve a purpose.. and the intent is usually good.. but they never stop criminals from breaking the law... they only stop LAW ABIDING citizens from having any defence of their own... or a way to hunt for food if your the hunting type.. in fact the way many guns laws are evolving.. it wont be long before our own police and military will be denied these weapons.. and you know what.. criminals will still have them.. and use them....

    One time I was riding home from work on a Razor scooter. It was about 9 PM. About a minute from work, a white unmarked white SUV drove next to me. A young guy in plain clothes yelled at me to stop. I freaked out thinking I was gonna get mugged or kidnapped and turned around and ran back to work. The guy turned around in a nearby parking lot, almost running over me. When I got back to the workplace I told my boss some crazy guy was chasing me. At that moment the guy walked into the place and told me I’m supposed to stop for undercover officers. How was I supposed to know he was an officer? He told us that a guy in a black shirt robbed a grocery store and fled on a scooter so the officer thought it was me. But he kept saying I should have stopped and I’m supposed to listen to to law enforcement but I told him I thought he was gonna mug me and I didn’t know he was an undercover officer. He told me to stop next time an officer tells me to. I knew that and I would have if I would had known, but it would be hard to differentiate a crazy person from an undercover if they were both driving a regular white SUV.

    #2: I'm from Minnesota. Snow chains come standard on our cars.
    #1: This is quite true. The son of a lady at a church I use to attend is a cop (or, at least, was; I haven't been there for quite some time). He verified a few things: One thing you can do is ask for a written warning. If they're just looking to fill their quota, this DOES count (in most cases), but it won't cost you. It'll still be on your record, but it seldom counts against insurance (varying on company). Just be careful. If another cop pulls you over and sees that you have recent warnings, it'll most likely be a ticket.

I've seen them countless times out there in multiple states near month's end. For what? I guess that's the mystery, maybe it's for overtime or just to make up time. I got pulled over last week for not using a turn signal when pulling out of a parking lot. FYI it's a real law, even if no one is behind you. What angered me was, I saw the cop(a young rookie)on the other side of this store. No way could he see if I used a signal or not(he lied). Really, I was trying to avoid him, cops beat me up before for no reason(I'm a white woman FYI). I had my 14 yo daughter with me, she was scared and wouldn't look or speak to him. I told him Sir, she's only 14, she has no ID. He blocked the whole road, backing up traffic to pick on a mother and child for a trivial matter. Why don't they find real criminals and let normal citizens go to the store?

    I had a rookie cop pull me over saying I was speeding. The posted limit was 40 and my cruise was set at 40. He said I was running 55. I took him to court with tons of evidence to prove he lied and the judge sided with the cop ignoring the evidence. My lawyer was just as worthless and the cop’s and judge’s honesty. He, too, ignored the discrepancies.

    • @BronyNumber4096
      @BronyNumber4096 7 років тому +3

      Yeah, similar thing happened to me.
      Yeah, admittedly I *was* speeding, but the ticket stated that I was clocked at 45.
      BULL FUCKING SHIT! My car doesn't like going 45 even when it's *legal!*
      _35_ I might buy, but no 45!
      Also, I know why the cop pulled me over. Because cops are the running dog lackeys of the money-fucking Satan worshiping 1%ers.
      The 1% sensed that I had a substantial amount of money socked away ($100.00 at the time) and, because those Imperialist money-fuckers actively work to keep us in the lower 99% under their boots, sent their pet police after me to take it away. I have sped along that stretch of road before (and since) and that was the *ONLY TIME* I had ever gotten a speeding ticket.

    11. Ever have a cop make the joke to you "have anything in the car I need to know about? drugs? knives? rocket launchers?" - this is a technique to see if you will laugh or not. Most mildly nervous people with nothing to hide will laugh after he says rocket launcher. If you don't laugh, it shows you probably do have something to hide, as your mind raced to "oh shit" before he even got to the joke part. Even if you don't find this corny joke funny.. laugh, heh. It just makes thing easier.

      This is a total distortion of the facts. Police departments actual see very little revenue from fines. The government entity which employs the police force may see 5% of the monies collected by fines and that money goes into the general fund, not to the law enforcement agencies budget. Most money collected from "fines" are actually court costs which fund the clerk of courts, prosecutor's office, public defenders, court personnel, including judges, and to fund public safety related education efforts, i.e. seat belt public service announcement, anti-drug and alcohol efforts, etc...

      there was a severe problem with cops pulling over people constantly in an area of Denton County , north of Dallas ,Texas...
      the three towns involved were Lake Dallas ,Corinth and Hickory Creek.. they all had the same judge.. a woman.
      . and I was hearing stories from so many people about the corruption and seeing for myself tickets being written out whether 3 in the morning , 2 in the afternoon, 7 in the morning, 7 at night.. that I was afraid to drive in my own neighborhood .
      ..I had heard that it even made the Dallas Morning News and a librarian said she remembered reading about it.
      ... there was obviously some kind of collusion and Corruption going on.. obviously SOMEBODY WAS BENEFITING ..I could not believe the stories I was hearing and how unfairly people are being treated.

    Central Falls Rhode Island 1997 I had just cashed two pay checks and was on my way home on foot in the afternoon. It was dark and around 4:30 pm at the time being December. It was cold so I had on a hoodie and a winter coat along with a hat under the hood. I don't like cold air so I always bundle up in the cold. The police stopped me because they thought I was suspicious. They illegally searched me without my permission and found over $500 in my pocket, the proceeds from two week's pay. They then accused me of being a drug dealer "because only drug dealers walk around with that much cash on them." So they confiscated the money. They then released me without charges. They refused to give me a receipt or any other documents indicating that they took my money. When I tried to complain I was arrested and charged with filing a false police report. The charges were dropped but I never got back my money. I was told by the mayor's office that only drug dealers have more than $100 on them at any given time and that the police have the right to confiscate all money over that amount any time they search anyone even if they don't charge you with a crime. This in clear violation of the constitution. They don't care and there is nothing you can do about it. So I got better at hiding my money. At a later time the same police department invaded my home without warrant and shoved a gun in my mouth and threatened to murder me if I did not tell them where kept my drugs. I don't have drugs. I have never done any illegal drugs. I am fairly certain this was retaliation for complaining about the first incident. The Pawtucket, Central Falls, Woonsocket, Lincoln and Providence police departments are deeply corrupt and run roughshod over everyone's rights. A Woonsocket cop in uniform once threatened to shoot me for not being sufficiently cooperative. We were not in the city of Woonsocket at the time but rather in the heart of a neighboring town near my own home. I contacted the police in my town and complained and the Woonsocket officer was warned to stay out of that town. Lincoln cops illegally detained a friend of mine and beat the crap out of him for being gay. Lincoln cops have a reputation for beating up gay people. If you ever file a complaint about Providence police you can expect all kinds of problems from having your registration and license mysteriously canceled to having your utilities shut off. Your landlord will be told that you are a drug dealer and that he has to evict you if he does not want his building confiscated. Your boss will get similar threats. My brother had to move out of state because he filed a complaint about a cop who rented one of his apartments. The guy completely trashed the apartment breaking windows and destroying a brand new $40,000 kitchen. The last straw was when he threatened my brother with his service revolver for charging him a $10 late fee for being three months behind in his rent. The next day my brother was charged with driving an unregistered vehicle with an suspended license. My brother had a perfect driving record and he had registered the vehicle three months earlier when he bought it. The car was brand new and worth $20k at the time. they confiscated that and he still owed $18k on it. He had to continue to make payments for years on a vehicle the Providence police confiscated after they falsified his registration record. He moved out in 1999 and I moved out in 2104. They are still trying to collect tax on a vehicle I sold in 2015 in Florida. it seems you have to prove you no longer own the vehicle by traveling to their DMV (there is no such thing as a visit to the DMV in Rhode Island that takes less than three weeks to complete) and filing documents in person. They refuse to say what documents they accept as proof. Rhode Island is one of the most corrupt states.

I've never wore my seatbelt and been pulled over for it I would say...about 25 times in the last 5 years and have never paid one ticket and still carry a valid license. Most of the police that pull me over for it usually give me a warning after I explained to them I don't wear one and never have until it is a law for every motorcyclist to wear a helmet in every state and our children to wear seatbelts on school buses. until then, I will not obey an unconstitutional law!

However, the civilian ---- every thing they say CAN and WILL be used AGAINST them, NOT for them. ONLY against them.
      If they have to pass some psych testing to get hired, keep in mind that they might be looking for personality traits suitable to that line of work, NOT a normal person who wants everyone to get along. I also read somewhere that they all have to become Free Masons, and if they don't , they are driven off the force. They have never once helped me, only harmed me and helped my abuser literally get away with attempted murder. Then I need to fend off their fund raising telemarketer calls asking for more money. NO! 1) There is only 4 things you say to a cop:
      .GET .. ME .. A .. LAWYER
      2) Almost everybody I know who got caught with something
      say they never been arrested for more than half of what they had.
      3) Legally a cop is an officer of the court system. Never confess!
      4) As such, lying to get out of, or get someone in, legal trouble is called
      Felony Perjury. 6 months in jail and a 15k$ fine per charge is possible.
      5) Or an Obstruction of Justice charge. If you put money in a meter so
      someone else won't get a ticket, you can get one of these for your jacket.
      6) Cops are predators. Who stands out in the herd gets hunted. So Don't!
      No stickers, decals, odd colors, etc on your car. Get in line, get in lane,
      and get there without being different. No loud music or mufflers.
      7) They do NOT work for you! The City Council commands the police chief.
      The cops job are to defend and protect the City Council- on up- from you.
      Cops don't just get up and wander around. They're just following orders.

      Tammy Sanford This video is incredibly biased and misleading on a number of topics. First, it's extremely rare that complaints are destroyed. Investigated complaints that result in an officer's exoneration (cleared of wrongdoing) or if the complaint was unfounded, the investigation reports may or may not be kept. However, there is a record of the complaint and the disposition. If a complaint against an officer is sustained (the citizen complaint was found to be true) there is a record of everything. Legitimate sustained complaints are also documented in performance evaluations. Of course the video doesn't mention this, but many police departments are required to keep accurate sustained complaint records and ANY records of non-complaint disciplinary action (getting a reprimand for being late, having a minor accident, etc) because prosecutors have to know if an officer will be a credible witness in court. Prosecutors are required to turn over to the defense attorney any information that indicates an officer may be shady and unethical. Look into Brady/Giglio violations. These issues were actually decided by the Supreme Court. Secondly, cops don't seize private property on a whim. Typically property is seized if they are connected to drug proceeds. Many agencies require that a certain weight of drug be present before property forfeiture can even be considered. You aren't going to have property seized for a little bag of weed or a Vicodin tablet. It just doesn't work that way. In some states, vehicles are seized for repeat drunk drivers. Property that is seized and it is upheld in court is frequently auctioned off. Firearms are destroyed. Any money obtained from auction does not go directly to the police department. It typically goes straight into a city's general fund, which covers everything from the streets department to the parks and recreation department. Finally, like property seizures traffic citation money doesn't go directly to the police department. In many states, a big chunk of the money goes to the county to pay for court and administrative costs. Some of the money goes to the city where the citation was written. And in some cases, remaining money is goes to a specific area. For example, where I live a small portion of citation fine money is used to train police officers. About the only thing that was decent advice was to not purposely provoke a confrontation because things can escalate in a hurry. A cop told me once that they get lied to and treated like shit daily. He said it's totally refreshing for someone to accept responsibility, apologize, and be polite. He said this very well may get you out of a traffic citation. Commit a more serious offense? Chances are nobody gets out of those. Oh by the way, they didn't cover this, but the Supreme Court ruled that police officers have the right to ask a vehicle driver and any occupants to exit their vehicle.

      Tammy Sanford cops have been doing this for decades its nothing new. Once you file a complaint at the police department and it goes no where you need to go above them. File with there internal affairs or if it is really bad get a lawyer or even file with the fbi or something.

      America was like that. Nothing wrong with showing respect to someone trained to protect you. Now days the criminal wants all the respect and have more rights than law bidding citizens.

    Civil Forfeiture is unconstitutional, because it violates our 4th Amendment Right.
    "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

      Because the video is about police in the USA dumbass.
      Examples given, like The People vs Mays was in California... & notice how most of the police in the video are NYPD.
      Last I checked... California & New York is located in the United States Of America.

    Since when is it a law that you have to have snow chains on your tires? I live in an area with a lot of snow and I've never heard this in my life

    • @mystireon
      @mystireon 7 років тому +3

      AzZZzA its not the same everywhere though in some states and countries its illegal to drive during snow seasons without using snowchains or having your tires winter checked

    • @freeagent8604
      @freeagent8604 7 років тому +1

      All it takes is just one idiot like you to close a highway down because they are too stupid to follow the rules and they end up up side down in the middle of the road dead and now thousands of people have their day/vacation ruined waiting for emergency crews to get the road open, all because of stupid people like you that are too stupid to understand something so basic as this. Idiot!

    • @mystireon
      @mystireon 7 років тому +1

      it could be that winter tires are just more common where he's from, eliminating the need for snow chains all together...

    • @azzzza8358
      @azzzza8358 7 років тому +1

      Mystireon I actually think those are the only kind of tires we have here because it's illegal for your tires to be worn down past a certain point

    • @mystireon
      @mystireon 7 років тому

      AzZZzA worn down tires are actually illegal pretty much everywhere since it can cause serious risks on the road, though my point is that winter tires can be used all year round and would provably be used without you even realising it in an area where it frequently snows.
