Great job as usual Doug! We installed outdoor antenna about 5 years ago ... we receive 93 channels of good quality, of which 20 are Spanish language and/or shopping, which we filter out. We mounted on exterior roof edging and ran cable down the outside wall and connected into the former Cox cable outlet, which sends signal to all inside TVs. We installed a signal booster inside the communications panel to be safe, but honestly do not think it necessary to feed five TVs. We supplement viewing with an AppleTV to stream content and airplay devices to the TV, plus subscribe to You Tube TV, which makes a good package. Thanks again for all of your good work on our behalf.
This is perfect. We live on the Mita side so we have cathedral insulation versus blown in attic insulation. This should make finding and running cables in the attic much easier. Assume the concrete tile roofs will not impede the signal (understand it will not be as strong as an outdoor antenna). We have been told the wire mesh behind the wall stucco will interfere with the transmission signal getting to an attic antenna. Again... THANK YOU.
Very useful, Doug. I stream all of my TV (Zona, thru FireStick devices). Recently learned that my signal is compressed so that the best resolution I will ever see is 720p. I understand that antenna signals are normally all at 1080p.
Truth and Quality Practical and Useful Information. The resolution of Broadcast Tv can be , 480i , 480P , 720P , 1080i , 1080P . Currently there is no 1080P being transmitted. Many Tv's will display/show the resolution that is being received.

Thanks for more great content!
Great as always. I did almost same a couple weeks ago. Except I hooked up outside antenna to the cable you showed attached to dish.
