What wonderful Memories I have here with my Parents" RIP Mom & Dad, Every time I Visit The Key's, they come with me in my heart... Can't wait to Go Back again this Summer! 2021;)
As someone who was born in Key West I take great offense that you say that none of our beaches are great and that snorkeling is not something unique in Key West!! (I'm joking) But if you ever do come to Key West check out Fort Zach Beach (it's one of the best on the island). Or for a afternoon dip try out Simonton Beach and maybe get a drink at Loggerhead bar which is on this little beach.
Top 10 are easily 1. Fishing 2. Water Sports/Adventures 3. Sunset Keys beaches 4. Duval st. 5. Feed the tarpon and other fish in the crystal clear water 6. Watch the Catman. 7. Buy Key Lime Pie 8. Reef tour on the glass bottom boat 9. Visit historical spots 10. just take it all in (you did get a lot of them though)
As a Floridian I went on a field trip to the keys it was such an amazing experience as you can go jet skiing/paddle boarding/canoeing and take some tours, visit restaurants and walk around the streets(although a bit crowded) to look at some historic places or shops/cafes. The most Ive walked from a hotel to the Cuban milage thing is about 15-20 minutes Im also cuban so it was pretty cool that Cuba was such a short mileage away :3 The keys are very nice place to visit especially key west and marathon
Butterfly world is a nice place to visit. The light house for great pictures. Ive also found the trolley or conch train is a excellent guided tour for first time visitors, as well as acting like a taxi. Theres so much to do in key west i go every year and theres alot i still haven't done. Love your videos robert keep up the good work.
Perfect list! Another honorable mention could be the Ship Wreck Museum, it explains who "wreckers" were and their role in early Key West Days. Keep it up Roberto!
The only one of these I haven't done yet is Dry Tortugas; I want to overnight camp but you need to reserve way ahead of time. Other things that are worth doing are the butterfly conservatory (not in the top ten things to do there, but still pretty cool), the shipwreck museum, the Audubon House (an amazing garden too) and of course the old sponge market (gotta get those souvenirs), and even though it's really touristy take the trolley bus tour. You'll get to learn a lot about Key West that way. And if you're going down there, hit some of the places along the middle-lower keys too! Theater of the Sea, and Bahia Honda State Park (although they may not be all that I remember them as since the hurricane hit).
Peppers of Key West free hot sauce tasting bar. BYOBeer and spend and enjoyable hour or two of great conversation and incredible sauces. It's a must every time I land in Key West. Also, I never miss happy hour at the Conch Republic open air restaurant/bar overlooking the Key West Bight marina. And across the street, a frozen chocolate dipped key lime pie slice on a stick at Kermit's.
Hi,Robert 👍🏻👊🏻 Awesome top 10 list of Key West !!!! My bucket list content would be to start in Key Largo then Marathon and then explore the Keys all the way to Key West. I have two kayaks just waiting to get in the Beautiful clear ocean of the Keys do some snorkeling maybe try to snuba diving at one of the local dive shops exploring the reefs. I’m hungry for some delicious seafood and visit hopefully most of the places you mentioned in your top 10. Robert thanks for sharing !!!! I’m looking forward to your trip to the RV show, enjoy and have a Great week !!! Danny
You missed the Ghost tour from Mallory Square. It's a fun and informative tour of Key West and gives a good insight into the history of smuglers and the unfortunate. Don't worry it's not about actually looking for ghosts.
Great list, Robert! My addition - Blue Heaven! Great breakfast with chickens pecking around your feet as you eat. I can't wait to get back there, thanks for the video!
Robert I'm so excited! my wife, daughter, father-in-law, and his girlfriend are going to key West starting July 8th! We don't have an RV 😕 but we do have a boat 😃! I can't wait before the journey down to key West. I'm so excited we might actually stay a day early in homestead just to enjoy the drive down to key West. I'm even going to try spear fishing! Maybe we'll run into each other there that be awesome.
I have hit all those p[laces... you got it... BUT 1 thing... you must have a piece of Key Lime Pie... Yummmm Lobster fest ... :) I may need to go to the fort ~!
Lograste que se me salieran las lágrimas de la emisión. Cuando emigré a estados unidos. Llegue a vivir a Miami.
786 y 305. Jajajaja
Some of my top ten, Green parrot bar, especially when they do chicken and waffles, fishing, some of the best back country flats fishing in the world, conch chowder at the raw bar, tattoo at Paradise tattoo , just a few more. Thanks KW is my favorite place in the world.
Where did you park you trailer we are going to Bluewater Key RV great place but they are a little expensive and you have a vehicle length requirement. Hey its the Keys.
Nice list! Have only been to Miami and a couple of days layover while flying out... this makes me want to come and check Key West out! Thanks! Is there a "best" time of year to do this?
In the summer it is very hot and humid and it can rain nearly every afternoon. In winter very pleasant, and dryer, but then the water might a little too cold for swimming. Short answer, probably the shoulder season. You can also time it to see (or avoid) one of the festivals.
Thanks! Have only been to Florida twice, once in June, just to board a ship.... yikes it was hot! Then in March and it was warm, but not too bad! Sorry to be dense, but what is the "shoulder" season? I would assume either side of tourist season, but not sure when that would be?!

Looks like you have been to the Keys a time or 2 :)
I love Key West !
Yes, these are good spots for people to make sure they get done....good job Robert.

Been to key West 4 time and i did all of it, and yes and heading back.
I would add the touristy, cheesy fun of The Little Conch Train.
But the NUMBER ONE attraction in Key West; meeting Traveling Robert!
+Completely Disinterested 😀

And of course do not forget to visit the Key West Lighthouse! The view from the top is amazing!
Good video. With the exception of #4 and #2, I have done all of your Top 10, including your honorable mention.
Perfect list! Another honorable mention could be the Ship Wreck Museum, it explains who "wreckers" were and their role in early Key West Days. Keep it up Roberto!
+trapman2000 Thanks. I'll check out that shipwreck museum next time.
Agreed!
You nailed it Robert.
thank you so much for this video robert!! hoping to see another traveling robert video from another trip to the keys this year, god bless my friend
Thank you. I'll probably go back later this year
Incredible Mr. Robert! I am very excited to start my first RV travel! Your videos are my inspiration!!!
How are your travels going? Where have you been?
Blue Water RV park is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. Just a bit North of Key West, but worth it.
The Green Parrot is the best bar in KW! 😁👍🌿

I've gotta try those
I went to key west and it was AMAZING
Thank you so much! We are going to Dry Tortugas because of your recommendation! We love your videos!

Maybe I'll do that next time
Traveling Robert The glass bottom boat tour is also an absolutely essential trip. And yes there is a bar.

You pretty much nailed it..
Thanks!
Butterfly house very interesting!
Great list, Robert! My addition - Blue Heaven! Great breakfast with chickens pecking around your feet as you eat. I can't wait to get back there, thanks for the video!
+thejasonofalltrades Actually some of the footage I used in the seafood section was from Blue Haven
The chickens in Key West are fucking disgusting...
Awesome.. love those Florida videos. keep em coming.
Thank you!
My baby and I will be there in a week....cant wait.
Cat's out of the bag! Thanks for posting.
You're welcome

-15 today. Wish i was there
Great list!!! One other thing, frozen chocolate covered Key Lime pie from Kermit’s! Yummm! 😋
Got to get down there some day ❤
I knew I should have been somewhere else this last weekend.
:-D
I agree with "Blue Heaven"; perhaps as number one.
GREAT VIDEO ROBERT! Your Callo Hueso song in the background sounds awesome! HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ROCHESTER, NY!
Fishing is very good in the Keys. Catch a yellow tail snapper, grouper, mahi-mahi and most restaurants will gladly prepare your freshly caught fish.
Do a jet ski tour around key west !
I have hit all those p[laces... you got it... BUT 1 thing... you must have a piece of Key Lime Pie... Yummmm Lobster fest ... :) I may need to go to the fort ~!

Mell was a chicken farmer from Hobart In. His favorite saying was “todays the day”
Thank you! Going tomorrow
Some of my top ten, Green parrot bar, especially when they do chicken and waffles, fishing, some of the best back country flats fishing in the world, conch chowder at the raw bar, tattoo at Paradise tattoo , just a few more. Thanks KW is my favorite place in the world.
You sound like Fernando from Vice City radio station Emotion 98.3 xD hahha I love it

+MsJulhiano Thank you!
Real pretty area
Great video
I’ve been there I loved it
be there Thursday! If we can get outa Phila in the NorEaster
Enjoy!
I would have to add : Happy Hours and of course Live Music and perhaps a Rum Distillery tasting or two ... and Cuban food ... and ...
I should have made a top 20 :-)
Love your video.
Thank you!
I should tell you this that Mel and his sons found the Atochia Spanish Ship wreck!
Love me some key west
Thank you, Robert! We will have a morrito in your name next sunday! :)
The place where it is actually the southernmost point is a military base
That's correct, Whitehead Spit I think it is called
you missed mel fishers museum and the displays of the margarita and atocha..you missed it as number 1...hal
I would love to go there with a tour group that gave plenty of opportunity to roam free.
Lots to do in Key West for sure.
Robert you forgot the Mel Fisher Museum!
Hmmm, never been there. Maybe next time
And you can't forget that cheeky little dessert restaurant at the opposite end of Duval "Better than Sex" not too naughty but oh so good
+Michael Hebert Oddly enough I haven't been there yet.
Where did you park you trailer we are going to Bluewater Key RV great place but they are a little expensive and you have a vehicle length requirement. Hey its the Keys.

Hi Robert como estas..que piensas del generador inverter dual, gasolina y gas comprimido.?
+carjack69 Las 3 veces que lo he usado ha funcionado bien. El mio es sólo de gas.
Is surf fishing allowed in Key West?
2:45 i just might skip that one
👍
i thought alllllllllllllll of them would be -------- "where i can get a Pale Ale".
Anyone else searching for Keith Sweat and got this?
It’s not the most southern point???
seriously?? no Green Parrot mention??
Repeat?
Robert, thank you for the travel tips on Key West! Have you ever been to Weeki Wachee? We did a video there! Check it out on my channel...
Need to get some better music to start with. Sounds like Amateur hour. And what about a place to park your RV you don't even mention it.
I'm here now alone. Been boring
I couldn’t get past the into. Sorry.
Here's the song: ua-cam.com/video/Av6u2FfU24E/v-deo.html
... yes it is the “#1 most south point” we are on a GLOBE.
You make it look boring
