Hi Renee, So happy to see this video! I am in my seventh week of Retin A Tretanoin .025% It has been quite the journey so far. This is my first time with prescription Retin A , but I did thoroughly acclimate my skin for about 6 months before with otc products which I think made a world of difference. I am seeing amazing results so far but with the good comes the bad. About once a week my skin decides it hates me and becomes red and itchy. I don't have much peeling, however I am pretty sure its because I have oil skin. There are a few products that have really been so comforting , calming , and soothing for me. Klairs midnight blue oil and midnight blue cream and blue sheet mask This trio from Klairs is an absolute must have for me. I would also like to mention I'm From Rice Toner, this toner is out of this world! Thank you so much for introducing me to this product, I'v never used anything like it before and I cannot live without this toner. Another toner that has been so soothing is Paula's Choice , Advanced replenishing toner. For anyone here that is considering the Retin A path, I highly recommend checking out the Klairs Midnight Blue line in addition to the products you have mentioned . I can't wait for your next video :)

The Ordinary's granactive retinoid 2% has worked well for me to get started! It def took a couple of months I would say for my skin to fully adjust and not have much irritation anymore but I lowered dosage depending on how it reacted. This along with acid exfoliating on my off nights have done wonders to my congested skin especially lower jaw prone to hormonal acne. I never thought there'd be a "cure" for my acne! (Or at least alot more manageable now).
@@bellafitzpatrick9714 Right now I do every other night so I can use some acid exfoliating products (Drunk Elephant TLC or The Ordinary Lactic acid/salicylic acid) which seems to be the most effective combo right now. I had a lot of textural/build up near the chin area before, now it's alot smoother with this, and less breakouts. I started off mixing the retinoid though to dilute the product like she mentioned here and gradually increased the dosage. Make sure you use sunscreen everyday with this kind of routine (acids or retinoids)!
This is what I started with as well. My skin looked SO bright and texture SO much better. But after a while the results plateaued and I moved on to Differin. Now using straight up tret.
Hi Renee! I've been looking around for videos on derma rolling and surprisingly, there are not many videos on it at all! I've been searching for articles on what it does, how often you should it, should you do it at home, etc, but I'm having trouble finding a trust worthy source; you are one of the most, if not the most, knowledgeable on skincare on youtube so if I were to hear about derma rolling, it would be from you!!
Naruthao Uzumaki I would recommend Davin Lim’s UA-cam video on it. He’s board certified dermatologist in aus. Really dispels the myths. My fav skincare channel on YT
Perfect timing! I actually started retinol 0.5% last night. Little tingling nothing major today. Will definitely benefit from all these tips...thank you!
Love your videos, can you do a whole step by step AM and PM routine for hyperpigmentation. With reasonably priced products. For the many of us who are on a budget. 😊
She's done various guides on this. If you watch those videos, pay attention to the ingredients that she highlights rather than the actual products themselves since most of them will not be drugstore price. Then watch her budget skincare recommendations videos. Utilizing those resources, you can build your own routine. Just a heads up that you'll have to look for alternative products if you're not in the US because many of the products she recommends, unfortunately, I can't find in Canada. Good luck!
Omg I was just finally brave enough to use the Drunk Elephant A-Passioni sample Ive had for a couple months. I have used the PC retinol serum in the silver tube but it’s been years. I did like it but I believe this one is stronger. I am taking it super easy! Once a week for 4-6 weeks I think!
Can you do a review on pixie skincare products?! They are available in target and the packaging is so appealing but I’m not sure if I should purchase them !💕
Hey love! Yeah I feel ya! for some reason I get more irritation and dryness with adapalene than I did with tret! I will have a skincare routine to show how I deal with that 🖤🖤🖤
can't wait! actually, last week when i experienced significant side effects, i went to your website in search for a "cure". didn't find anything specific about sensitized skin and retinoids, so i just ended up with a three step routine: aloe vera, rosehip oil and SPF. worked great.
Just got a Rx for tretinoin for my hormonal acne. Dreading the dryness. Need all possible tips to avoid going through the intense discomfort and dryness.
Yes!! just checked for a new video 15 minutes ago ;D lol I would love a video on your favorite fragrance-free products so far :D also i have never been so early O.o
I literally just bought my first retinoid yesterday! (The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane) I’m new to retinol and this video could not have come at a better time! Thank you, Renée!
Thanks so much! This video is so timely! I just started on my Retin-A journey with Retinaldehyde (very low percentage) and your videos are so helpful! I also use the Midnight Blue Serum and Ordinary's Niacinamide and I definitely believe that I haven't had any major setbacks because of those products. I also mix it in with my last skincare step - just in case. Please keep up your lovely work!
@@gothamista I use the Osmosis Calm Retinal. I've been interested in trying RetinA for some time (but unsure where to start) and so I was so glad when I watched your video and recommendation of products. I've been following your skincare journey for several years now and so I've noticed that my skin seems to react in a very similar way to yours (which is why I trust your recommendations). I've been using the Calm for two weeks now and I haven't experienced any shedding (but I prep the skin with layers of moisture beforehand). Thank you so much Renee for your videos (I wish they had been around when I started my skincare journey 7-8 years ago)! 🙏❤️
Retinal is such a superstar...I've just started using it..no peeling,no sensitivity,no dryness even around if i use it around my eyes...i have sensitive dry skin and I'm very surprised that it did not cause any irritation on me...and within a week my wrinkles around eyes almost diappeared...magic right😭❤️
Wow you are so informative! I actually have the Paulas choice niacinamide, the azelaic acid, and kairs MIDNIGHT cream *not the drop* when I use the retinol! Its been helping me a lot during this phase.
This video came at a perfect time as I’ve just started my retinol journey! I choose a drugstore (cervue) to start Because I assumed I should take it slow - but from this video I will be slowing down to two times a week because I noticed sensitivity just like you predicted! Thanks for all the great info!!
You've inspired me to make the retinoid journey, Renee. I sooo appreciate all of the info and suggestions you've shared on this topic. It definitely has helped the transition. You rock!
I think we’re skin twins. We have the exact same type and issues. The Ordinary’s 10% Niacinamide has been a game changer for me. I’ve gotten my skin to tolerate .025% Tretinoin every 3rd night and I’m good with that. I can’t tolerate going stronger and that’s okay.
I use 1% only 2x per week, I get flakey on the 3rd so I’ve worked out if use on Monday’s and Fridays...my skins not flakey on Friday and Saturday nights which is when I want to put on makeup for nights out 😊. Although I am now thinking I need to Trey 3x per week soon but it’s going to mess up my skin on fri/sat lol
Gothamista Good to know! My goal was always 5 days a week with Retin A so I can do my Vitamin C on the remaining 2 nights (it’s not a formula that would work well during the day).
Hi! I’m one of your silent viewer. My dermatologist didn’t talk about introducing niacinamide or azaleic acid first before using retenoids. Now i understand why my skin reacted so bad. I have oily, sensitive, acne prone skin and somewhat dehydrated. Can you please tell me which one is better for my skin type to start of the niacinamide or the azaleic? It would also be a great help if you help us with updated step by step routine at night with my skin type. I know i am asking too much and i want to say thank you for being our saviour. God bless😘
Are you familiar with a product called Vitacilina? It's a mexican brand, the oinment is clear and comes in a tube. The only 2 ingredients are retinol and neomycin.
Exactly, day 1: oh, my skin is cool; day 2 try again, still super cool; applying day 3, day 4 continuously and day 5 wake up, face is like world war 3 battle >"
@@aniovakimyan3258 Yes, but for me I thought I just had really good tolerance at first. The first 3 days I had no reaction at all to retinol. My skin just felt great. And then BAM it was sensitivity central & now I have to take it easy lol.
The first time I tried retinol I reacted but I've always had sensitive skin. Thankfully after starting a good skin routine, I tried retinol again and can now tolerate it. Loving my retinal serum though these days. Less irritating than retinol. 🤗
This is a great video and so informative. About 10 days ago I started the retinol serum from first aid beauty. (0.25% I believe) i had used some of the serums that contain very small amounts of retinol from Paula’s Choice in the past but wanted to try a little more. I made the mistake of not noticing any side affects at first and secondly applying a little too much one evening. Shortly after my face was stinging and peeling. I backed off and have been using my delicate moisturizers keeping super hydrated. Tonight I will have to try putting on after my serum-that is a great tip. Also super helpful to know about the azelaic acid as I already have that from PC and have been using that for a while. I had been using the bha 2x a week but will stop that for now. Thanks for such great tips about this!
I love this! I’m currently using retinol on my routine for first time. And you explain everything so good! Love your videos always 💜🙌🏻 Need a video on full am and pm with retinol included 🙌🏻
I'm currently using retinoid with arbutin in a bed of aloesin. Since its a serum and all ingredients are organic the tingle sensation I feel tolerable . But i tried using it everyday and its almost a month but im testing out its effectiveness. Great video!
i’m so scared of starting retinoids, especially because i don’t even know if i need it yet (i only just turned 21 last month), but the results just seem so good! gonna have to talk to my dermatologist about it
I started with The Ordinary. 5% in squalana and then jumped to the granactive retinoid 2%. Im loving how my skin is. Throughout i was still able to use Aha(The Ordinary /Jumiso) and Bha ( Paula's choice). They were easily combinable. But my skin is pretty resilient i was using . 25 % retinol creams in the past.
If you’re in your early 20s do you think it’s worth starting retinoids? I don’t have any sensitivity really and am looking to preserve my skin (righting and less pores would be a bonus too!)
YESSSS!!!! thank you!! waited so long for this. can't wait for the routine. have you tried the frech otc retinol? A313? thoughts on that? will probably get that one to try once I am done with luna and ordinary.
I think the biggest question is actually “do I need retinoids?” I’ve been using AHA / BHAs and so far I’ve got pretty good skin. I’m worried that retinoids would only irritate.
Did you finally went ahead with the retinoid? Just curious cuz I am at crossroads, my skin is really good right now but I started with Differin today(first time) for anti aging measures. I dont have acne nor am I sensitive or acne prone.
@@shamsaliaquat2209 hi, I actually did use Adaplene for a while and it gave me horrible acne. Not even purging, it was painful acne. So I stopped and followed my old routine with active ingredient serums and all, just skipped retinoids for a whole while. Skin recovered and became damn near 99% clear. Skip to now, I have actually started Tret 0.025%, I am currently a month into it, using 2 times a week, every 3rd night. Skin was clear when i started Tret, currently not looking so nice, I am facing purging, not as bad as Adaplene but still its upsetting a little when i look in the mirror, however I've noticed the following things: - the acne from purging goes away faster along with the pigmentation (I am indian, with an fair olive skintone) - skin texture has improved and its definitely glowing - i suffered with blackheads and whiteheads on my nose, and this is where I've seen major improvement, my nose is smooth af girl. Its currently at its best and still improving. - not facing major dryness. Tiny flaking around the mouth but goes away post moisturizing. And yup, thats the udpate, I'm going to definitely continue tretinoin cuz Ive heard loads of good things and I'm sure my patience will be rewarded later 🥰 also btw I'm going to turn 24 in December, i dont have acne prone skin, I am just using tret for all its anti aging benefits, texture improvement and just overall radiance of the skin. Someone hit me up after another few months for an update ❤
@@PriyaDas-rv9gd lots of blessings for u i also started tretinoin journey thank u so much for such a detailed review .lets hope for the best for both of us
first if all, You are amazing & I learned so much from you when I upgrade my skin care routine last year. Thank you so much!!! I am using Adapalene 0.3% in a creamy gel form in a tube. I'm using it 2x/wk. for almost 3 months now. just experienced little peeling, but nothing bad. Is Adapalene a good one to use?
Hi what reasons are you using the adapalene 0.3% ? As there is a 0.1% adapalene too . Could this adapalene treat hyperpigmentation and can you use it for anti aging too ? Is adapalene a Retinoid ?
Used Bakuchiol last night instead of my 0.05% Tretinoin and I experienced more peeling(than I had with the Tretinoin)in the next morning, plus some redness. So go easy! At least to start with.
I learned so much from this video! I’ve been using Azaleic acid every day but not in combo with my retinol so I’m going to try that now! Also, I’ve been using retinol for a while and my skin has adjusted, is it safe to add vitamin c? I’ve heard the vitamin c might counteract the effectiveness of retinol is this true?
Your videos are always so informative and insightful. Would love to hear your thoughts in the future about the new Maelove marula oil. I got their vitamin C after watching one of your videos and absolutely love it.
Looking forward to your updates skincare routine - which hopefully incorporates some products by The Inkey List. I have a few products and not sure where to use them.
I just bought the ordinary 0.2% retinol, it's my first time using a retinol product. All the granactive retinoids are sold out everywhere in the UK and also on all the online stores for ages. I wanted the 2% granactive retinoid but can't find it in stock in anywhere...
when you finally reach your balance, you get what you want and you satisfied with your skin condition, should we reduce or stop the retinoid use or just keep doing what we had done? will the skin get worse if we stop?
Wow! Such a brilliantly explained video 👍🏼. I am new to retinol its quite scary for me. I have just started on 0.25% retinol by Alumier. I use to use azelaic acid 10% every night. Can i use azelaic acid the nights i am not using retinol? I only use retinol 2x a week. Xxx
Hi Renee. Do you use the Niacinamide 10% along with your retinoid or do you use the Niacinamide the next morning to help with the irritation/inflammation due to the retinoids? Thanks for the great information & tips.
I just got a custom protocol from Deciem (The Ordinary) and they have me using niacinamide on alternating nights of retinoid/retin A. I use vitamin C in the morning so that's why they suggest I alternate those two for my night routine. However, I know that niacinamide is also recommended in the morning routine after retinoid the night before. I haven't seen it recommended on same night unless it is one of the lighter retin products like HPR or retinalhyde.
Thanks as usual, no more words to say! I start my tretinoin journey ( prescription) 7 years ago, no more flacking neither irritation. I guess that my recently redness on the cheek need some help! Is azelaic the right help! Please Renee confirm because I’m s bit confused when I should apply! Before tretinoin , right!? And not every night? I should acclimate my skin to azelaic as well?... forgive me, I’m Italian and listening sometimes is tought. Much love as usual! Annarosa xoxo 💋
Straw Baby is right. Better start early. There's no need to go overboard tho. Start with the most gentle retinoid possible. TO has a .2% emulsion. use that for the next years and go from there. You're still young and will use retinoids for decades to come 😉
She described my exact experience with retinol 1%. Day 1 and 2, fine. Then the AM of day 3, bam! Irritation all over my face. I was irritated by almost everything, even the Cerave cream. It’s getting better on day 5. I guess I’m going to slow down on my retinol adoption to once a week on top of moisturizer.
I made same mistake too Thought ohhh it’s working fine but after omg redness peeling like hell ... swelling on face omg it was bad experience ☹️but now I use twice a week and gonna use her tips as well 😊
Renee! Thank you so much for this video ♥️ You mentioned using a well-formulated product with retinol for the undereyes, could you please share which ones exactly? I also had a grave incident with using tretinoin on the undereyes and am now dealing with crinkly, textured undereye skin :'(
We all learn the hard way! Don't worry, the crinkly dryness will go away. Use some hydrating, soothing eye patches! I like Dr Dennis Gross retinol serum and Paula's choice ceramide eye cream is a great place to start.
@@gothamista Will definitely check those out, thank you so much for your reply!!! :) Really hoping using retinol on the undereyes will help as the crinkly texture has been there for about 4 months already. Is that normal in your experience? 😫
I've used the Granactive retinoid 2% in squalane from The Ordinary for a few months now and I saw great results ! But right now I really want to "upgrade" my use of retinoids so I wonder if it's better to used Retinol or an other ? :)
Follow New Zealand recommendations of applying retinol for 10mins and washing off. Next night 15mins and wash off, next night 20mins etc. build up to leaving on overnight very slowly. I dont know how anyone can apply and leave over night for the first few times without having a reaction.
Actually, I am sensitive even to the Granactive retinoid emulsion 2% from The Ordinary. I can only use it every third night. If I increase to every other night my skin gets pretty irritated.
c12issy I’d say If your starting tret then start on the lowest strength but I would stop all acids as the tret will most like give you side effects, such as sensitivity, flaking, peeeling, redness and using a acid on top of this is most likely cause the skin further more irritation. Tret exfoliates the skin so another product which does the same is not needed. If you really want to use a acid then introduce it once your skin is properly acclaimed to the tret at the highest strength. Hope this helps.
Yesss! I have been waiting for this video. I started using the ordinary granactive retinoid a couple weeks ago, I haven’t experienced any drying or irritation yet which made me think I was applying it wrong. How long do you recommend to wait in between applying toners, serums, oils, etc.?
I mentioned that granactive retinoids are non-invasive and won't give you the side-effects but they also are not as effective, it would take far longer to see the same results as a retinol. Stick with it for a bit more then when you're comfortable, try the 0.2% retinol from the Ordinary. That was relatively gentle.

check out the ordinary
They are available in target and the packaging is so appealing but I’m not sure if I should purchase them !💕
Sierra Baker Pixie Toners are sooo good! I have acne prone oily skin.
Sierra Baker i’ve been using it for 2 weeks now,and i was amazed with the result..u can give it a try..😁
The toner is a bit strong tho the glow toner with hydroquinone it makes my face red and burn
Pixie toners totally the bomb! Try it please
THANK GOD. i just started adapalene and my face is going crazy. never seen this type of dryness before.
I did a video on skin emergencies but that was years ago now!
Just got a Rx for tretinoin for my hormonal acne. Dreading the dryness. Need all possible tips to avoid going through the intense discomfort and dryness.
@@gothamista oooh, i found it! funny, now i remember watching it when it first came out.
I just finished nursing my twins and got the go ahead from my doc to start Reint-A again! Perfect timing!
I just tried the 13 dot method last night and it's amazing! Thanks for passing this tip along!
Yes!! just checked for a new video 15 minutes ago ;D lol
I would love a video on your favorite fragrance-free products so far :D
also i have never been so early O.o
YES! Especially foundation and blush
@@Zwoomba uh yes and concealer xD
I literally just bought my first retinoid yesterday! (The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane) I’m new to retinol and this video could not have come at a better time! Thank you, Renée!
How is this product working for you? I'm about to order that exact one! Do you use anything with it?? Thanks in advance 😄
This is EXCELLENT, and so thorough!! Thank you!
Hi love! I'm curious which retinaldehyde you're using? I'm obsessed with this ingredient!
Hey Shannon! I still have 1 - 2 nights off a week and it works better that way for me! Actually I was told it's better to have off nights.
Can u plz share your regime how you use as I got the Dermatica 0.025 tretinion
Gothamista Good to know! My goal was always 5 days a week with Retin A so I can do my Vitamin C on the remaining 2 nights (it’s not a formula that would work well during the day).
Hi! I use the niacinamide before thep.5 retinol? Do you think is okay or I have to switch the order?
Thank you Renee 🤗 I always look forward to your videos. I'm learning So much from you.
So happy to know this!
God bless😘
binge watching all your videos right now lol. SO informative and I'm so excited to upgrade my skincare game!!! Please never stop you are amazing!!!
Are you familiar with a product called Vitacilina? It's a mexican brand, the oinment is clear and comes in a tube. The only 2 ingredients are retinol and neomycin.
andreea valdrost ooo nice! Have you tried?
Exactly, day 1: oh, my skin is cool; day 2 try again, still super cool; applying day 3, day 4 continuously and day 5 wake up, face is like world war 3 battle >"
Hao Pham aren’t you supposed to use once a week when starting?
Ani Ovakimyan not necessarily
🤣🤭😅
I'm confused about the azelaic acid. Do you recommend eliminating it during retinisation, or actively including it?
Are we getting a new sunscreen video for the summer? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Especially some sunscreens that are good for milia prone skin would be great!!
Alyssa Schmidt try elta MD!
Try PCA Skin Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45
Hopefully mineral sunscreens that are affordable. I am stuck with Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish lol.
I'm currently using retinoid with arbutin in a bed of aloesin. Since its a serum and all ingredients are organic the tingle sensation I feel tolerable . But i tried using it everyday and its almost a month but im testing out its effectiveness. Great video!
i’m so scared of starting retinoids, especially because i don’t even know if i need it yet (i only just turned 21 last month), but the results just seem so good! gonna have to talk to my dermatologist about it
I read that late 20s is when to start unless specific damage need to treat, otherwise it lowers efficacy when you're older and need it more.
w rsg23 wow, that’s actually really helpful! thanks 💕
Yea!!! Just started adding retinoids acid to my routine. This helped a lot!!!
*Thank you Renee! Love the numerous options with your amazing knowledge! ♥️
@@PriyaDas-rv9gd so whats results with adapline 0.01% i also started my tretinoin journey for aging and acne purposes
Skin was clear when i started Tret, currently not looking so nice, I am facing purging, not as bad as Adaplene but still its upsetting a little when i look in the mirror, however I've noticed the following things:
- the acne from purging goes away faster along with the pigmentation (I am indian, with an fair olive skintone)
- skin texture has improved and its definitely glowing
- i suffered with blackheads and whiteheads on my nose, and this is where I've seen major improvement, my nose is smooth af girl.

Thank you! Great tips and will definitely try your recommendations. Was so excited to see this today😊
Your hair looks great!
Used Bakuchiol last night instead of my 0.05% Tretinoin and I experienced more peeling(than I had with the Tretinoin)in the next morning, plus some redness. So go easy! At least to start with.
My Retinol in Squalane 0.5% just arrived, hoping for the best.
Which brand did you buy? Thanks
Renee you are ocean of knowledge 🌟🌟🌟
I’ve been thinking about starting retinol. I feel like it could do wonders for my skin and help prevent some early aging and delay it a bit.
Lovely seeing you! So many great tips. ❤️
Always something to learn here! Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to your skincare routine videos 💞💋💜
Your videos are always so informative and insightful. Would love to hear your thoughts in the future about the new Maelove marula oil. I got their vitamin C after watching one of your videos and absolutely love it.
Hey very well explained
Which serum to be applied before retinoid
Looking forward to your updates skincare routine - which hopefully incorporates some products by The Inkey List. I have a few products and not sure where to use them.
Please do a video on your favorite commercial oil blends!!
I just bought the ordinary 0.2% retinol, it's my first time using a retinol product. All the granactive retinoids are sold out everywhere in the UK and also on all the online stores for ages. I wanted the 2% granactive retinoid but can't find it in stock in anywhere...
this is besides the point, but your voice is very soothing.
when you finally reach your balance, you get what you want and you satisfied with your skin condition, should we reduce or stop the retinoid use or just keep doing what we had done? will the skin get worse if we stop?
Xxx
Love this channel.
Chica, I was going to ask you about this~ love this detailed info! 💕💕
Hi Renee. Do you use the Niacinamide 10% along with your retinoid or do you use the Niacinamide the next morning to help with the irritation/inflammation due to the retinoids? Thanks for the great information & tips.
sherinie22 i have the same question! I know you posted this 3 months ago - so I’m wondering if you found the answer? Thank you
I'm not sure it matters. I have Curology subscription and Niacinamide is mixed in with the Retin A.
Mam, plz make a video on how to get rid of heavy sun tan 😫 Love all your videos and thank you for such a informative video 😍🤗 Love you 😘💕
Thanks as usual, no more words to say!
Thank you for sharing your wisdom!
Thank you so much. Just what I need to start my routine.
Great video as always ❤🌸
I'm on accutane and would love to see a video with gentle products for sensitive skin.
Should I use acids?
There are milder acids you could use - PHA's, Mandelic, lactic are gentler.
@@gothamista thank you ❤
Hi Renee! Thank you so much for making this video! I'm 23, is it too early for me to start using a retinoid?
Ann Thomas No. Preserve and prevent, not try to reverse
Straw Baby is right. Better start early. There's no need to go overboard tho. Start with the most gentle retinoid possible. TO has a .2% emulsion. use that for the next years and go from there. You're still young and will use retinoids for decades to come 😉
Diligent sunscreen use will be a better use of your effort and money
You should be using sunscreen spf 30 or higher.
This is so helpful love your videos
Can I apply Retinal (Since it is not photostable) in the evening when the sun is still shining and it is not completely dark?
Incredibly informative! Thank you!
How did you know I needed this video???
She described my exact experience with retinol 1%. Day 1 and 2, fine. Then the AM of day 3, bam! Irritation all over my face. I was irritated by almost everything, even the Cerave cream. It’s getting better on day 5. I guess I’m going to slow down on my retinol adoption to once a week on top of moisturizer.
I feel better now knowing I'm not the only one who made that mistake at starting super strong, didn't see or feel anything and than BAM! PEELING AF!
😯 Did that cause any scarring?
Lol pealing AF sent me
I made same mistake too
Thought ohhh it’s working fine but after omg redness peeling like hell ... swelling on face omg it was bad experience ☹️but now I use twice a week and gonna use her tips as well 😊
Very effective suggestions ma’am
Love it ❤️❤️
Thank you!
Ur welcome always ❤️
How do you use tretinoin and Biologique Recherche P50W - do you alternate? How do you plan use of both? Thanks
c12issy I’d say If your starting tret then start on the lowest strength but I would stop all acids as the tret will most like give you side effects, such as sensitivity, flaking, peeeling, redness and using a acid on top of this is most likely cause the skin further more irritation.
Mariam Yousif never get in the belief that if it burns, it works.
If it burns, it burns
I mentioned that granactive retinoids are non-invasive and won't give you the side-effects but they also are not as effective, it would take far longer to see the same results as a retinol. Stick with it for a bit more then when you're comfortable, try the 0.2% retinol from the Ordinary. That was relatively gentle.
