Just completed watching this episode! (25/9/24 7:45pm) Switch Case is indeed cleaner than the If Else condition, and works nicely as it directly jumps to the matching case without checking all the other the conditions like in If-Else, thus saving time and computation power.

Great Videos. Good Explanation. One point here 'the enhanced Switch is available from Java 12 onwards. People who are using java version less than 12 can't use this'.
Before watching kushal's DSA play list I hated java because I did not understand anything in java before now it's different story thanks to kushal this course is freaking awsome
Kunal plz don't stop solving a bit of questions after u explain the concepts because that helps a lot getting more idea about it when you explain it through those questions.
I want to go for Web development(MERN), before that i want to clear my fundamentals of OOPs and DSA, which language should i pick? i know basic C, C++, Java, Python(learning), PHP, JS(lil bit), but which one should i take for DSA and OOPS concept and as my general purpose lang which i will be using in coding interview? Please do not tell me pick anyone shit!
@@niteshprajapat7918 yeah you can. Kunal explains everything conceptually and applies it in Java. But some things are more Java specific as well. In other words: if you understand it conceptually, you can use it in any language, provided it exists in the language.

First of all thank you so much for this series. Just a small question... If we follow your course completely, then do we get prepared enough to take part in GSOC 2022? Will you guide us on that after the course completion?

I code in C++ basically and solve problem using that only. But I am only learning Java because you said that it will help in making open source contributions. When this Java Course ends will you be teaching us or help us to contribute to some java projects like you explained in your course announcement livestream that open source will bring in a lot of opportunities and how you want everyone to get those just the way you did.

So break in switch is like `else if` for if statements. So that if one condition is satisfied once it doesn't check for the others.
