To his day, the Heavy Objects remind me of Keith Laumer's Bolos from his sci-fi novels and short stories. The only difference is the Objects aren't sentient.

JC Staff isn't exactly the best anime studio but at least they did the explosions very well here. Such a shame a S2 is very unlikely
