- Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing with you the secret that took me years to discover about writing perfectly on your sugar cookies. This little gadget is called a PICO Pocket Projector. When I first got my hands on it it was very difficult for me to figure out how to set it up and the only videos i found on UA-cam were comparisons rather than tutorials on how to use the projector. I hope I am able to help a few of you and I will list some of the stuff I used below.

The cord you threw out is is your AV plugs (in case you are showing videos and want to plug it into a TV or laptop). The plug you had plugged into the side that you said to use to charge it with, is actually your HDMI. Thanks for the tutorial though. Can't wait to try this. You made it look sooooo easy piping letters on the cookies.

Do you have an account with da font? If you do not want to save it can you screen shot and crop pic to use with the Pico? I just am a bit concerned about opening up accounts that claim to be free but yet the want credit info. Please help thanks

i dont see how to screenshot from a regular laptop i think you said you would put instructions below but i dont see it would really love the help. i recently order mine i dont own a iphone or a ipad or a mac, my laptop is a acer and my phones are androids i was super nervous when i heard it only works on apple but with this video is giving me great ideas thank you!

how do you dry your cookies?any advices with the fan and the dehydrator?thanks :)
hi Mara, I use a dehydrator and mine goes all the way down to 125 degrees F at the lowest setting and I usually dry my cookies for about 30 minutes, if im adding layers or icing, I dry my first layer or outline for 5 minutes and I put the cookies back into the dehydrator to dry completely

Awesome video! I've done everything as you've outlined, exactly as you have done....but when I go into the USB folder it isn't showing my image. I only have the options to return or up folder. I cannot imagine what I've done differently.
thank you ! no worries this has totally happened to me before and usually is due to the following:
1. i accidentally press the wrong buttons on my PICO, go to minute 7:54 on the video and pause it, you will see on the first row there is two icons one looks like video film and the bottom one looks like pictures, sometimes when I'm in a hurry or my finger is being sloppy I accidentally press the video film button, just make sure that you are pressing the picture button....if this fails then
2. what I do is i will disconnect my USB and re-insert it into my computer, then check to make sure my images are in there, some of the time since your USB has been connected for so long it goes to "sleep mode" even though the light shows that its on and by disconnecting and re-inserting you will trigger it to wake up causing the images to be recognize...if this still doesn't fix it then
3. I will turn my PICO off and then back on, this will do the same thing that disconnecting the USB does, sometimes eventhough the PICO is on it will not recognize new images since its been on for so long, then if I'm still having trouble
4. i scream and jump up and down lol and disconnect everything and start over with a fresh USB or I delete everything and re-save it on the USB

Can you make the image as big or small to fit the cookie with that pico?
how did you do the gold splatters on the cookies?
TiffanyNP I diluted a little bit of gold powder by Divine specialties with lemon extract and I dipped my brush and with my index finger I flicked the paint onto my cookies :), nothing fancy but that’s really how I did it I hope this works for you, thank you for watching 💕

How do you put a image on a cookie for example Santa or a elf, using the mini projector?
hi Stacy, I usually save my images from the internet, save them onto a USB and then insert the USB into the side of the projector, once you do that you will get an option to open images on your USB and they will reflect on your cookie, you can adjust sizing by adjusting the height of your tripod, :)
