Just found you, thanks for your hard work. The sport is growing this type of video will be important not a action now but it will come keep up the good work
That’s an older video! I would say in the hand the blue 159’s felt a lot lighter than the 170’s! The Sapphire is a very good disc. Consistent and will fly pretty far. I think I have one of my furthest throws on one of those 159’s in my UDisc app!
You are welcome! It’s fun stuff! If you are going with the Latitude light easy to throw stuff the next disc down is the 9 speed Jade. Westside Hatchet is a good low arm speed get good turn and glide disc too!
Yes, the sapphire will be the disc for people who can driver right around 350ft. If you are able to constantly throw 400ft + then sapphire will simply be too understable or needs way too much hyzer to handle the armspeed.
I think the Sapphire takes a little bit more arm speed to straighten, but they are pretty close. I know with my Escapes, I can get them to do some really straight long shots. It also gets distance driver distance for a 9 speed. These Sapphires are great distance drivers for slower arm speeds as well.

170g-159g=11g, not 20!
barely a 6% difference.
Could it be a placebo effect, influencing your throws?

My arm speed must be like 5 mph i cannot get it to turn at all. Thanks for the review!

Agree!
What disc would you upgrade to then?
How would you compare it to a fresh Escape? They heavy type looks similar

Thanks.
My new heavy sapphire is much more overstable for me
