Done. Saving that one. Best advice I’ve heard yet.

Lol I love it 😂
"I also got a roller due to the fact that I didn't throw well.". So relatable (and honest).
😂
Jonathan is a "real crack up" is what we would say down here in New Zealand 😆
I've played disc golf for 15 years, and watched on UA-cam for probably close to 10. This is the best content that has ever been produced. Keep up the good work Jonathan, I always have a good laugh when I watch these videos!
I myself could not agree with this comment any more, these videos are awesome, and freakin hilarious .. my fav .. the PARTY POOPER!
"with light weight discs...they feel lighter" - Jonathan
Haha not my brightest moment 😂
@@Latitude64 you are of the best things to happen to disc golf social media. I love you man. So funny!!
Thank you so much ❤
Yes this is by far the best disc golf content.
It is good and you are so funny at the same time.
Keep it up Jonathan
@@Latitude64 I have a great content idea for you / Latitude64 channel in general that would fit you guys for sure. There is a pool billiard channel called Kamui Brand and on there (and on his personal channel) Rollie Williams(average player) tries to recreate and analyze shots that pros made in a game until he makes it. Also he visits some pros and seeks for more tips and last year he was going to attend a pro tour competition with coaching from top professionals(and it got cancelled cause of.... covid-19 ofc.).
"It's overstable. I can see that with my eyes" - Jonathan
I legitimately have laughed out loud in a very quiet bank.
This was fantastic. “Smooth is far, far is cool.”
hands down the best videos by any Disc Golf company... Funny, informative, and makes me want to buy all their discs
Jonathan is hilarious
Thank you, Michael ❤
He should get a comission on every Latitude disc I buy because these videos are the reason I'm only buying Latitude.
Your throw on 5:00 was perfect! That was a nice turnover and fade :D
Yeah very nice, can't wait to see you bomb it more in the future!
Fascinating how well this video illustrated the reason people recommend staying away from fast discs until they are ready for them. So many shots fading early in the flight. Also in the end the slowest disc ultimately seemed to fly the straightest and farthest for you kinda further demonstrating the point. And lastly please make a lot more Opto Havocs because they are fantastic.
I agree. Was a bit of an eye opener this one :).
Yeah, the only time I use faster discs is in a headwind, down a hill on a fast turning fairway, or if I'm lucky enough to find a fast overstable and light disc(like 15 to 20 grams lighter than max weight)...which is a difficult find but light is easier to flatten out the overstable flight which was my longest flying disc...until I lost it, now someone else, I'm sure, is enjoying my favorite disc...with my name on it. 🤨
yeah, after I swallowed my pride, I started using slower discs and now I can get more reliable left to right movement for weaseling around trees down the fairway. the fastest disc in my bag is a 12, but I usually hover around 9s. they're a lot more consistent. I'd rather have a 20 foot spread at 275 than a 50 foot spread at 350
Really liked the last picture, representing the bag.. really good layout :)
Thats all Johannes work :). And I agree
@@Latitude64 Then give Johannes a high five from me! Great work guys
Your throwing has gotten so much better! great vid!
Thank you :)
The ballista pro was the first disc I ever bought, and it’s taken me one year to learn how to use it. Now it’s my most irreplaceable driver.
Easily the best disc golf tutorials on UA-cam… I took a long break from disc golf and getting back into it I’ve found these videos to be immensely helpful. Thank You to everyone involved in these videos.
This man should be throwing an Explorer! My fave lat 64 disc by far.
I do :)
These video series you've been doing have been amazing to help my game so thank you so much Jonathan and thank you to the pros that have guided you through your journey and me as well
Fantastic video! This whole series has been entertaining and informative. Thank you Jonathan and Johannes!
I'm loving the grace and rive! Can't wait to try out the faith!!!
OMG, love your guys content, keep making great videos for the world to see! Thank you! Johannes & Jonathan. Looking forward to your next video:)
Just bought a Ballista and love it!
I totally agree Jonathan, I can't seem to get a feel for most of the lightweight discs. I have a Jade that I like, but it's very moody because even a slight wind puts it to a roller angle.
I'm so excited for whatever your next series is! We may be done with your bag, but I hope we aren't done with you Jonathan!
Loving the Grace! Great controllable distance.
As a new disc golfer, I really appreciate these videos. Humble, funny, and relatable. Keep making great content!
Loving this content! Currently finding out my favorite distance drivers as well right now.
I discovered the magic that is discgolf about nine months ago. It's been a pleasure discovering this sport alongside you Jonathan.
This series has been super helpfull and also very enjoyable! Shame I didn't get a grace while they were available :)
Keep up the good work!
Mvh från Småland!
I loved this series - Nice bag!
Very helpful to think about having this matrix for choosing my discs as a beginner.
I am new to Disc Golf, going out my second 9holes today.
I have watch so many clips from you last weeks so i am really exited to go out and try all this tips! Tack så mycket!
Kul! Hoppas rundan gick fint :)
This is such great content, the awkwardness I feel as a beginner is portrayed so well here!
My elbow hurts just watching that many DD shots in a row.😆
As always, great content. Can't wait to see you get the whole bag together and play.
We love it!!! Now that your bag is complete you must…. MUST Do an in the bag video!!!
DUDE ... you're all set now, aweosme!! Pretty damn cool to see you come as far as you have. Can't wait to meet up one day and play a round.. CHEERS TO YOU JONATHAN AND JOHANNES!!!
Thanks for the great intro and outro music!
Great job man!!! Like the set up of your bag at the end. Can’t wait to see you adapt also Forehand 👍👍
Would love a new bag basics to see how Jonathan throws them now. You guys are so entertaining!
I like this series of videos, I just wish there was a way to test the discs like you are doing before I purchase. Friends do share, but not quite the same.
Yeah I understand. We do have a flight chart that can give you some idea as to how a disc will fly :)
www.latitude64.se/flight-charts/
@@Latitude64 I always look at the flight charts, which are helpful when they show the comparison path for beginners advanced/pro.
"Smooth is far and far is cool". Love it \m/
Love the content, love the game, please keep them coming! Can't wait to upgrade my bag with some Latitude64 disc!!😁
Love this series.
I would like you to do a video about throwing uphill and downhill shots and which disks to use. I guess you have a lot of ski slopes in Skelleftea.
Yey! A new video from these lovely people
This is basically the only channel I click the thumbs up for every video.
Wow... Your bag has some remarkable similarities to my own...I have been playing for over 10 years but I am just a bit older... yeah... definitely older and my arm speed can't handle the fast stuff... My distance drivers are OS-Grace Straight- Sapphire and US- different lighter sapphire. Oh... and I 1000% agree with your assessment on Royal plastic. If I could handle the Rive, I would bag it... but I LOVE the trust and grace. Great stuff as always!
Like most beginners I started with too many distance drivers and not enough midranges and fairway drivers. This has now been corrected and the "fastest" disc in my bag is the Sapphire at 10, followed by 4 speed 9 discs, a Diamond at speed 8, two speed 7, two speed 6, four speed 5, a speed 4, and three putters. Thanks for all of the great content, it has been fun following your progress since it has been very similar to mine.
I think if you can throw a Sapphire you should be able to handle a Bolt and get a little more distance out of it, the Bolt is my farthest flyer. It's a little less stable than the Sapphire even though they have the same Turn rating, I can get it to hyzer flip easier.
@@danlewis1885 I am not 100% sure I would say I can "handle" the sapphire. But I will throw it sometimes. It is in the bag because I was able to score my personal best on our local course during our Trilogy Challenge. And it few well enough. I am still not yet getting over 300' consistently with anything even though I have had a couple hit 350'. I am in the middle of a start over with my form and am focusing on hip engagement with a stand still and am getting throws at least as far as I was getting with a full runup but most are probably farther. I will look into a bolt though, sounds like it might be right up my ally.
I bag the Grace(2), the Bolt cycles in and out, depending on the course/day, bag a couple of explorer's, the Saint, the Trust(2), Claymore, and Fuse and the pure cycles in and out as a throwing disc. So 8 discs in common with Jonathan. Counting the ones that go in and out at least. Distance drivers are so fun to throw, but hard to throw well. Hopefully you can get more time to practice and get better. Maybe take your kids when they're old enough.
Jag har sett ett flertal videos utav er på latitude 64, och jag gillar verkligen innehållet. MEN jag måste få påpeka att det är ni med era personligheter som gör dem riktigt bra och underhållande.
Keep up The good work guys😀🤘😎
Tack så mycket ❤🤘
Great content. Please keep it coming.
The metal interludes were some kickin' rifts. As a metal head I must know where you got those jams!
🤘
I know right :). It was from envato elements. Just a song called like "metal riff". Wish it was a "real" song tho.
"Little bit on the low side" blowed my mind :D :D
😂😂
That video is particularly good! Great content!
Cheers :)
I've bagged trespasses, destinys and swords as my longest distance drivers for a few years but the grace's glide never ceases to amaze me. Best driver to hit the market in years.
agreed. It instantly (literally first day I used it) became my number one disc in my bag.
Sweet riffs in the end.
I'm really excited to try out a Grace.
I like your content dude.... keep it up!👍
What a great bag!
Hi guys love this series
I added the Rive to my bag recently and am really wanting to try out the Grace. I also like the plastic the royal line is made in
I love my opto sapphire. Predictable path.
Enjoying my new grace as well . Good luck with your tournament Jonathan. I believe you will make us all proud. Try to have fun. Smooth is far but straight and safe in the fairway is also far compared to not lol
Awsome vid again :)
I've been waiting for the last two videos to see your reaction to the Sapphire, which has been the best disc for me as a beginner, and I absolutely love it... and you forgot to put it in the main cut. 😂
My favorite duo
Can't wait to see you use the newly completed bag out on a course. Also best of luck in your first tournament; I heard you mention that a few videos ago.
Thank you :)
14 SPEED OR BUST!! BALLISTA PRO ALL THE WAY!
Just kidding, I am reverting back to fairway drivers after having only drivers and pretty much putters in my bag!
Best series on the internet!
Thank you, William :)
Jonathan, your drives look like mine, everything even understanble looks overstable. But you make me motivated to go out and keep practicing and getting better. Good luck with your full bag at your first tournament. Can not wait to see your results!!!
Most important thing when throwing drivers is nose angle. If disc is nose up it's really hard to overturn even under stable disc but when nose angle is correct disc will turn easier assuming you get enough speed for it.
The monk outfit had me rolling, so hilarious. What other costumes can you guys put jonathan in 😂😂 it makes great funny videos
I love the Sapphire. Love your videos more :)
Time for an in the bag video. All the cool kids are doing it
Congrat love the videos
Just want to say how amazing the Sapphire is for me! I started discgolfing a few months ago and got a sapphire quite early. Whenever I broke my own distance records, it was with a Sapphire. Right now I'm starting to get a full s-curve with it, while not needing to put too much force into it, which also allows me to be quite acurate. I've grown out of the Diamond quite quickly, but I feel like the Sapphire will be my friend for long time.
Yes, the Diamond is significantly more understable than the Sapphire even though there's only a difference of 1 in the turn ratings. I just picked up the "heavy" Sapphire and get a nice S-curve where the diamond now just dumps right for me on just about any anhyzer angle.
Really liked the video Guys! 👍 Keep ut the good work. Latitude 64 4life👍😎
"the ligament here in my arm" - points at muscle 😂
Så jäkla bra o oxå som vanligt förklarat på ett underbart sätt👍👍😂. Har fortfarande lite bekymmer med vilka som är över o understabila men har nog mer med min ballerina teknik att göra😂
The Havoc is perfect BRAND NEW for me. Unfortunately they beat in really fast. BUT. For someone who throws 95-110m it will give you some extra distance pretty controllably.
Yup, I bought my friend's opto-x havoc and it's my most controllable understable distance driver so it's an amazing disc especially for me who throws as a max distance around 110m, and the rive is an amazing distance driver if you throw 360.
Love the content and the humor! I have mostly discraft and a little bit of innova in my bag, but I'm pretty tempted to try out some of your discs. I'm thinking maybe a bolt if I can find one in stock somewhere. Any other recommendations? I started playing about 18 months ago and I think I'm at a similar throwing level as you...
1:46 "Smooth is far and far is cool" sounded like Something that you could hear at 04.00 am television commercials :D
(just how you said that)
out of my two distance drivers is the saphire my favorite. out of my fairway drivers is the disc mania magician my favorite. out of my mid ranges is the westside tursas my favorite and out of my putters is the keystone my favorite.
but when looking at distance drivers do I like my saphire because it is easy to throw well and I have enough arm speed to make it fly fairly well for 90-100 meters every time
Jonathan needs to do a full ITB video showcasing all of his discs!
The Havoc was the first disc I broke 400 ft with, it will always be special to me!
Think I need to try a Grace out. I love my Discmania Enigma (that the lovely people at Latitude 64 produce) and wonder how they compare. Great video as always Jonathan and Johannes.
I got my furthest throw with the Enigma! Really nice disc
I noticed Jonathan has a very good hyzer flip, which is great for fairway and midrange, but currently he lacks the power to overthrow the distance drivers. I think throwing fully flat will prevent the far left and tombstone results. Great video!
He should be able to hyzer-flip the Bolt given his current distance.
Love the videos, all very helpful!
I mostly bag fairway drivers in my bag I can push about 320/350feet (or just over 100m). I've always had an issue getting a solid grip on distance drivers (they always seem to slip out early.) I can't tell if its because they are slimmer in profile than other disc models. Or if maybe there is something wrong in my form/power grip.
Any thoughts? Anyone else having an issues like this?
We need a video of warm ups pls!!!! Including regular game warm up and tournaments warm ups!!!
Its in the making:)
Congrats on the bag I love the nine disc approach cuz realistically I have over 70 discs but I only throw maybe 10. However can I recommend for your first tournament, cuz it's coming up is the trilogy tournament, great for growing the sport and also seeing how your doing against other beginners. I'm excited to throw the sapphire, cuz the numbers scare me for the understandability but everytime I see it fly it fly straight.
Don't let the -2 on the Sapphire scare you, it's closer to a 0 than a -2. Much like the SPZ3 (Superhero) they put out for last year's Trilogy.
So, with your bag complete, does this mean weekly golf with your new bag? Also, this was a fun series. Looking forward to more from you guys. You work well together.
Haha I wish. But I will definitely play as often as I can :)
I have seen a cuple off videos from innova about the whip shot or sling shot Can you guys make a video on tjat subject soon. Love your content😁
Yeah I think we will in the future. It´s in the to-do-list =)
More drone footage please, it’s hard to see where your shots end up. Great choice of discs, I carry 3 rives 😍
Sweeet, a new video!
Tack och bock, sir!
Sick vid
Thank you :)
Jonathan, stick with the Sapphire for now and those wonderful fairways. You will get just as far and probably more accurate :) But yeah I understand the lure of the distance driver. We all think we can throw them, then learn very quickly. We can't :)
You have slight air bounce on throws which means either you reach too high and arm dips lower on power pocket and then up again or disc are slight nose up angle when release from hand.
Sapphire now has a "heavy" 170+ Carat version like the Diamond. I'm playing Trilogy challenge next week and the heavy Sapphire is the Lat64 disc. I was guessing you would go Bolt and then either Havoc or Ballista for stable ... oh well. I bag the Bolt and Ballista and don't even bother with over-stable high speed as it just dumps to the left too quickly with my arm speed. I enjoyed this series, congrats on your bag, now go hit the course and STROKE THE BOARD!
I have not signed up for our challenge on the basis it is the heavy version. I just do not know enough of how it will work for a newbie compared to the light weight version.
My fav Latitude distance driver is Knight, sad you didnt test it!
Utility Discs: Bag Basics next!!!
Johannes: "Grace. This one's a speed 11."
Jonathan: "Meaning???"
😂😂😂
I love the Jade as a beginner driver, you should give that one a try!!🤘
It is a lighter weight disc that feels...lighter!!
absolutely :) I love it. Mine is the air Jade so even lighter. But my husband also enjoys throwing it. The only disc I can throw with my noodle arm where I get the nice full flex out of it.
Just got myself a diamond I'm and I'm actually about to go play my first round with it.
I have a Sapphire and if you can throw it on a hyzer and get it to flip to flat it flies dead straight. Unfortunatly it's my only L64 disc but I want a c-line Fuse at some point if I could ever find one. An Explorer, Musket, Bolt, and River are on the radar but those can wait.
I love my Royal. 👌🏻 thanks Jonathan. Also.. Something about that Ballista Pro. It’s my absolute crushing device when I throw it forehand. 💪🏻. Why no forehand throws?
Soon I'll be able to open up my own discgolf store. The discs are getting to pretty to pass up...
"Smooth is far and far is cool" 😎
Jonathan, can you go over what Johannes has in his bag to compare. All I know is he has a Fuse, River, Explorer, and Pioneer.
It would be nice to see his full disc golf bag.
Yeah we've been talking about making a sort of in the bag video. So it might come in the future :)
@@Latitude64 that would be awesome! I hope you do.
