If STALKER 2 winds up being as good as I hope it'll be, this year will be hard for 2025 to beat. Helldivers 2, Space Marine 2, Sins of a Solar Empire 2, great new content for Remnant 2/Darktide/Warframe/Total War, and now if we can get an epic RPG shooter in STALKER 2, that's a really solid year and that's just the stuff I played.
Considering the travesty that is Dragon Age Veilguard and several others that have come out recently... I don't know about anyone else, but I'm taking this with a grain of salt
The only two games I expect to be good for sure are Doom and Slay the Spire 2. I'm vaguely interested in Atomfall, Judas and Crimson Desert, but I'd have to see more to know if I'm into them. GTA will be a big spectacle game again, but undoubtedly overpriced and underbaked at launch, so I'll probably be a "I'll pick it up on a Steam Sale in a few years" buyer for that game, and then Borderlands 3 had good combat but irritating characters with unending millennial/Marvel movie quips that hit maybe once out of every 50 attempts, so I'm skeptical about 4. If they can give us some fun characters to play as, expand on the loot system which has been the franchise's biggest feature, and then dial back the 'whacky' humour so that characters like Claptrap are the exception rather than the rule, then maybe it could be a return to form. I think the combat needs to take another step forward for it to be a big hit, though. If they could make their AI enemies better at taking cover and maneuvering, and then their sponginess could be turned down a bit, it'd be a nice change.
My Top 25 1) GTA 6 2) Doom Dark Ages 3) Resident Evil 9 4) MGS Delta Snake Eater 5) Cronos the New Dawn 7) Mafia Old Country 8) Ghost of Yotei 9) Death Stranding 2 10) Judas 11) Expedition 33 12) Metroid Prime 4 13) Borderlands 4 14) Monster Hunter Wilds 15) Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 16) Reanimal 17) Little Nightmares 3 18) Wuchang Fallen Feathers 19) First Berserker Khazan 20) Subnautica 2 21) Lies of P expansion 22) Black Myth Wukong expansion 23) Hogwarts Legacy expansion 24) God of War Greek Saga Collection Remastered of all 6 Greek mythology games (rumored from leaks for the 20nth anniversary) 25) Far Cry 7
MH Wilds is the main one I've heard. I played a little of the beta, and I'm not sure how i feel. The weapons feel... lacking? Im assuming this is due to the removal of hitstop, because my main weapon seems to play similarly to World. Also, gotta say I love the ghostrunner music used here, aswell as the risk of rain towards the end. Thanks again for another informative and useful vid you guys ❤ Edit: Didn't know they were making a new fable! Definitely excited for it!
What 2025 game are you most interested in? Let us know in the comments down below!

Wuchang fallen feathers, the first berserker khazan, where winds meet, ghost of yotei, Dynasty warriors origins

Don't forget maybe the biggest content this year. Shadow of the erdtree
can't agree. as a pvp gamer, this year has been horribly boring. Had to rely on fangames and mobile stuff. lefties taking over gaming was horrible.
Timestamps? Ahh you guys are the real winners here
Dynasty warriors origins being single player is a killer. So much fun over the years with a friend. Especially the earlier iterations.
that sucks. hoped for at least some kind of multipayer. guess more money saved
i can honestly say, even though i was born and grew up through the 90's and 00's i never played a single Metroid game
I really can't wait for Doom The Dark Ages!
2025 is going to be lit. A year of games I'm actually looking forward to.
I'm ready to see all the disappointment in dune. I can hear it now
There is like only 5 games im interested.
Very excited to get them. 2025, Doom gets GOTY? That would be dope.
mecha break, if they don't mess it up, will be my main game and arcraiders could be interesting.

Immediately recognized track from Ghostrunner👌
ROR soundtrack is a nice touch
I am looking forward to the "Just one more turn" simulator =)
AC Shadows 😂 just cancel it
Day 1! 😂😂😂
Nah that shiii gonna hit fs 🔥
Nah cancel you
Path of Exile 2, Hades 2 perhaps?
Really excited for Borderlands 4, I loved all Borderlands except tiny Tina’s game, that was absolutely terrible!
Fable main character design seems questionable.
I think they're trolling us. I think it's either create a character or you only look like that through the morality system.
Ghost of Wokei
Lmao
You just love seeing Jins butt really.
No killing floor 3 mention??
no poe 2?
Early access 2024 so not part of this list
