- Another fortnightly session of hunting and sniping Karls for your entertainment! Fifteen more for the tally!
Axis Invasion is a fun game mode where we can invade a single player campaign game mode to attempt to kill the campaign player as invader using a sniper rifle, smg or pistol to prevent them from completing their objectives. Stealth and sneaking is key to avoid detection when hunting the player, phones are scattered around the map that can help the player and invader locate each other. Tagging can also be used to track soldiers and their movements.

Really enjoy your content. The acknowledgement that you are up against a good player is quite refreshing. And not making fun of a less skilled player is also good sportsmanship. glad to hear you are feeling better.
Thanks! The accessibility features/various difficulty levels of these games are wonderful as they allow us all to share the experience and feel like badasses regardless of how adept we are at playing. I choose a higher difficulty because it suits me, but it wasn't always the case: I started on easy many years ago when SE2 released, and I never played on anything past hard difficulty with aim assist on until SE4.
I don't forget these facts when I'm playing other people, regardless of how much of a challenge I feel from them. I'm just honoured that they allow me into their game so I can attempt to take them out!
One suggestion to spice up authentic invasions is to use the option to match HUD options with the invaded options, then you'll have no HUD in authentic 😏
Yeah, another player suggested it last week, I had no idea it was even an option! I think the authentic invader HUD was patched in to the game at some point (at release the invader had no HUD on authentic, which is why I thought it was a bug, as the campaign mode does have a bug that allows a HUD in authentic for Karl). I’ve already changed the setting in game, but haven’t recorded since! You shouldn’t be seeing it again in authentic matches!

Found your channel just as I'm having the itch to play the Sniper Elite series again. I really enjoy the chill commentary, and concise editing. The chapter titles are also a nice touch.
I’m like halfway through the campaign so I was like “hmm. Maybe I should try some invasion” That was the scariest moment of my life. My heart was raising the whole time I was looking for this guy. And then out of nowhere he appears behind me. Almost gave me a heart attack. Anyway I pull out my trusty MP40 and blast the dude into heaven. 10/10 experience, will do it again (once I’ve recovered😂)
Update: I love the game mode. It's so fun and scary at the same time. I'm currently at 20 kills so I just got a sweet looking Field Officer skin
Don’t worry, you’ll quickly get to/near the hundred. I had about 20 and the beginning and then quickly got to 50, then even quicker to 80 and the rest was routine.
I've only just stumbled onto your channel and I really enjoy your commentary - very relaxed and not waffling but you also have a lot of positive things to say about the Karl/Monica/Harry's you invade.
Very refreshing when very many gameplay channels have a quite negative dialogue
A viewer pointed out to me early on that as invaders we should not complain as we are essentially guests in someone else’s game. Its something that has stuck with me and directed my attitude as I’ve grown to strongly agree with that stance. It’s neither fair nor polite to insult your host. I now don’t care what tactics they use, how skilled they may or may not be, what difficulty they play on. It is a privilege that they allow me to join their game in the first place. I always do my best to meet their challenge.
I absolutely do waffle, though, I’m just good at editing! 🤣
It feels like all of your sniper elite content is geared towards me alone. I thoroughly enjoy every single video. I played SE 3 and 4. Can’t play 5 at the moment. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful content.
Thank you for watching! SE4 is probably the best game in the series IMO, but SE5 is still great, albeit buggy. Shooting is a bit easy, but the invasion mode is great fun!

Hopefully there's an option to remove scopes from a sniper rifle in the future since it seems not to be an option, there's one sniper that as far as I'm aware holds the record of the highest body count of confirmed sniper kills without using a scope.
You already can! Removing the scope is an option when customising the rifle.

@@cursedhawkins1305he has done a lot of iron sights kills in the early videos from the invasion mode series.
For the iron sight Sniper you're thinking of, look up the white death from around WW2. Got to the point the foe were dropping carpet artillery to try and flush him out
@@scribblerstudios9895 It's the Winter war, three months after WW2 begins and that's actually who I was referencing as well, because I noticed that there's a glint from the sun whenever someone's looking through their scope so under the terms of logic that glint shouldn't be present if someone were to decide to use the good old iron sights.

I almost always use it in the invasion videos! The Kar98k and the M1903 are IMO the best rifles in the game!

I usually play only once a fortnight in the Western Europe region, usually a Friday or Saturday night after 11pm BST (10pm GMT). I’m going to start posting on the community page when I know I’m going to be playing.

I noticed straight away that you use a suppressor. Is that a cool factor or has it had its uses against karls and Monicas'?
It makes it slightly harder for your opponent to locate the direction of a shot. Someone pointed out that the audible range thing is broken in that weapons with a low audible range are audible to human players way beyond the distance they should be heard at, but the subdued nature of the sound of a silenced shot still makes it’s harder to identify compared to a loud shot sound, even if it can still be heard at a longer range. It can buy you a few seconds if you miss under certain circumstances. The rifle I use is still really powerful with the suppressor on, so using it is of benefit to me. If it really hurt power I’d probably not bother with it, though.

In this video? I can't remember what I used and it has changed several times since! I change it around all the time. I almost certainly used a Kar98k though, I use that most of the time. The sides I change around all the time just for fun.
Check the channel though, I have already produced a video on loadouts and explained my (very basic) process in that.

Yeah, my internet upload speed isn’t fast enough to stream at a watchable resolution/bitrate anyway. It took 3 hours just to upload this, so it’s not on the cards any time soon!
It’s not that big of a deal knowing where the jagar is because you can already use the phones and you have focus. On authentic it would be op though
