    Great video. I can’t wait to try this out when I stitch a project using 1 strand of floss.

    Thanks for the great demonstration! I do use the pin stitch when using a single thread but never knew how to end with a pin stitch. Thanks again!

    Thank you for the ending with a pin stitch. So much cleaner than another method I saw.

    I just said to my husband this evening, maybe I should learn the pin stitch, blank (expression on his face), thank you for this concise tutorial, brilliant. Now going to try it. 😊

    Thank you so much for this! The backs of my projects will look less like bird nests from now on.

    Oh my gosh, Jordan. You taught an old stitcher a new trick. I have always been a loop starter and the tail pulled behind 2 stitches on the back so the backs can be a bit messy with lots of confetti stitches.
    Thank you so much!!!

    Super helpful thanks so much! I had been meaning to google how to end with a pin stitch so I am glad you covered both. The way I was doing it I felt like I could see my start but this way looks more refined.

    Yeah! No more flipping. Thank you for this tutorial. I start with a pin stitch but never caught on to ending with one. The other tutorial I watched just wasn’t as clear. I will have to give this a try.

    Congratulations on the Winter Rose Manor finish!! I've always been shown to do a pin stitch with those first two little stitches placed horizontally across the middle of the stitch and then covered by the full cross stitch. This makes so much more sense and doesn't add any extra bulk to the first stitch! I do have a question, though - would it hold if you did your last stitch the way you do the first? I'm sure I'd get used to it, but somehow doing the first leg seems like it would be awkward and I'd be afraid of catching the top thread. 🪡👠

      @tattooed_stitcher  8 місяців тому +1

      It is a bit awkward and I don’t trust that it would hold since your finishing with your solid top leg, the reason it holds is because your finishing with the two half crosses locking over each other! I frequently forget to do the last stitch that way and usually have to backtrack a leg 🤣
