Pretty sure you would have lost the car, and license, and spent some time in jail. I got lucky in Oklahoma with a state trooper who listened to my explanation why we passed each other and I was a buck an 35 cents when we did cross paths at the top of the hill. Just passed someone doing 50,in a 75. Had to get back in my lane before the double yellow. Was coasting to legal limit when we saw each other. I was actually having a real sh*tty day, but was stopping before he had lights on and U- turning. Extremely lucky day for me, and it wasn't so bad after getting a break from the Trooper. Glad he didn't see me 10 minutes earlier.
