I am so obsessed with him. I can't stop watching him. The humour, the delivery, the jokes, oh my God, pure perfection. He's such a gem. So unique. Love him so much. Such a hot bod too! I copied this from another comment on UA-cam (that someone else made) about Diane Morgan but it definitely applies to Joe too.
I thought this performance was wonderful. It wasn't a constant chucklefest, but I don't believe that's what Joe was intending. For me, it was nine straight minutes of bracing myself for what was coming next, sitting on the edge of my seat being steeped in pure awkward, chaotic energy. It was both unique and an experience, and I think everything landed exactly as he intended.
there are a lot of people saying that he’s not the best at stand up but i’m not sure if i agree, i think he’s genuinely very good and is only let down at times by delivery or segwaying; it feels like he hasn’t really had too much practice and i’m genuinely impressed by how well he does here
Joe Wilkinson is great. The memory of him calling "Raise/lower the p*ssing winch!" on Cats Does Countdown, among other classics, cheers many a dark moment.
