Wow this just landed in my inbox, what is better than one Yaakov? two Yaakovs. I have been watching your UA-cam videos for years and this is the first time I have seen the rhythm guitar and lead at the same time played beautifully. So nice to be able to study the chords and also the solo. Love this format. Thank you so much for all the beautiful playing and teaching that you do
@@GypsyAndJazz Not quite the same. At bar 7 (0:21) you play an E melody note (Em, chord) but Matelo Ferret (at 0:13 in ua-cam.com/video/5YylXFhpMjM/v-deo.html ) plays a C# (an A7 chord)
Hi Yaakow I love this. There are not many Django waltzes. The other bein montage St. Genevieve. Would you consider doing a tutorial for this son?? I've worked out the chords but not so much the lead parts. Take care, my friend.
Yaakov has created and in-depth course using this waltz as the source of a wealth of useful knowledge and skill for all of us! courses.gypsyandjazz.com/courses/gin-gin

Crazy that Gin Gin and Chez Jacquet differ so little, yet are so alike. Would like to know more about the "why"
They are the same song. If you find the origin of the two names, I'd love to hear it too!
