Love the gypsy jazz lessons. For those of use new to gypsy jazz would be cool to see video of your advice on instrument to buy, type of strings, etc. thanks for the killer content!!!! ✌🏼
Man, thank you so much! Yes, "dragging the pick across the strings". I've been struggling for months with a good upstroke and you have solved it in a few minutes :)
Met a few manouche players who told me a few things about pumping (Pompe means pump) . Most importantly the speed of the downstroke is independent of tempo. Hit those strings just as fast and hard in a slow sensitive ballad as if you were playing mystery Pacific .at 200 bpm
I have seen maaany la pompe "how to" videos, but this might be the best one, thanks for that.
I agree.

Mannnnn, this is the best description of rhythm for this music for guitar players learning La Pompe. Thank you for this, Dani.
Man, your lessons on this (and on SRV) are great. They come from a deep knowing of how it works. Thank you so much.

Thanks dude; your right, you ain’t got shit if you don’t walk the dog. The only tutorial that has helped me get nearer to le pomp.
Thanks
No problem
Another great tutorial. A big thanks for slowing things down. I’ve now got it.

Another great lessons! Good to know it's not just me to hate dancing... 😂😀
Oh when you say it fast it makes sense now...wow...always wondered what this type of strumming was called.
Walk the dog is konakol applied to gypsy jazz. Thank you!!
MerCi frere!
Lots of good instruction, thank you. I think I’m doing something wrong because I hear all sorts of ringing harmonics annoying me
Great ideas. Gotta go walk the dog now.
Have fun
I hate dancing too. Just imagine somebody else dancing haha... Best
What's 'cut it' meaning?
Does it start on an Up, or Down stroke?
😊
Noice
I prefer sheepdipsheepdip
Hard to get the right rhythm sound!
