Glad to see this finally done
Love the channel, I sold my RS and miss it a lot. Hopefully I. Can rebuild one in the future and not feel bad about modding a wrecked one
Thank you, I probably wouldn't ever want to rebuild a RS again just because the cost/availability of parts. I so happy I did tho I love the car! Now onto some mods!
Great video. Showed everything and in detail. Honest and transparent too about cost and usage.
Thanks for watching it!
I agree with your take, worth it if your keeping the car but to much time involved for a quick flip. Video turned out great.
Yes, the car was quite a headache. Thanks for watching it!
Not sure you will see this but figured its worth asking. I wrecked my 2016 Focus ST and bent the upper structural member on the passenger side. Trying to figure out if I do all the mechanical work myself what it would cost to have a shop do frame repairs + paint and was wondering if you had any insight? What did the shop charge you for welding on the new structural bits? Thanks a bunch!
I run a set of Pirreli sottozeros on my forged RS wheels they are pretty fun still on dry roads.
Congrats 🎉🍾 I own 2017 Focus RS and its made in Saarlouis, Germany 🇩🇪 this make most parts expensive since they originated from European market.
What a nice weather in the USA! Snow yeah!!!!! In Europe/Germany we have..Rain-weather and it is not cold. My Focus RS is from 08/2018 SUBSCRIBE done..Good luck👍
Snow is better than rain in my opinion lol. Do they have 2019 models over there? The last models to hit US was 18 I wasn't sure about over there? Thanks for the sub!
Dealership quoted me $583 CAD for the POS fabric undertray.. I asked them why would I spend the almost $600 including taxes that will just be ripped apart next winter when I can fork out the same amount of $$ for an unpainted, bare aluminum skid plate. Makes 0 sense... absolutely love the RS but damn
Wait until you get a ap and you can shut off the rear diff 👀 super fun but weird feeling
Dws continental tires all season 235/35/19 running them on my RS1 19" discount tire has them for around $207 each, both of both world great summer and winter. I'm in the South Bend Indiana area and run one set for winter and one set for the RS2 19" wheels for summer
$206 isn’t too bad. I thought it cost more for 19in tires. I have another car to drive so I’m not going to bother with winter tires for the RS this year since my summer tires are fine. I’ll just drive the RS in days the roads are clear!
Why were the wheels not moving On that car
Not sure if you surf the Web? Marketplace? Front crash bar, LKQ? Radiator Mishimoto cheaper?
A lot of the odds and ends salvage yards, marketplace, eBay?
I was just talking OEM prices. I did go with a Mountune radiator bc Mishimoto doesn’t offer them anymore. I had a follower sell me oem bumper and hood for a little cheaper bc I couldn’t get my hands on one for over a month from Ford. Someone else sold me a stock intercooler for $115.
How much did the frame repair cost?
Why didn’t you go after market on some parts?
All the aftermarket parts I bought had the worst fitment ever. I did buy a Mountune Radiator tho
The 18" Snow Flakes will not clear the RS Brembo without spacers.
If you look around the RS offered the 18X7.5 RS 1 wheels for the winter car
Good thing I didn’t buy them yet. I wasn’t thinking about the different brakes just knew the lug pattern was the same. Thanks for the help
The snow flakes will most definitely clear brembo’s
@@kajrodgers4337 with at least a 5mm spacer

love ur content bro keep it up!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
I’m pretty sure the 18” ST wheels need spacers, in the front, due to the Brembo’s.
Oh, I didn't really think of that. You might be right I'll have to look into that. I was just going off the lug pattern.
@@CalebEckenrode Bolt pattern is obviously the same…. I’m fairly confident they need a 15mm wheel spacer or more in order to clear the front calipers.
No spacers need to run snow flakes
Looks awesome, what state are you from and how many miles are on that bad lad
Pennsylvania and 39k miles now I put 1,000 miles on it so far after the rebuild!
@Caleb Eckenrode that is awesome! I picked up my 17 recently, 48k miles rebuilt T i think i paid 22k for it Michigan! Love seeing your content! Keep it up !
12:20 thank me later
That's a lot of money but way more to buy one from the dealer!
