I’ve been to many great Liverpool games in my 50 years as a supporter. This day ranks up there with any of them. Brings happiness and tears to my eyes watching again 🏆⚽️⚽️⚽️
I was there, four of us went down and I was the only Blue in the car. I had to drive too. Haha. Imagine that drive home with 3 of the sods in the car with me!
Because he was a bitter, twisted man even then! Harboured a grudge against Liverpool ever since his Aberdeen team were soundly beaten in the European Cup by the reds.
His hatred of Liverpool knew no bounds...you see,he thinks that Liverpool shat on Shankly because they wouldn't give him his job back. He'd resigned months previous(realised he'd made a mistake)and Liverpool had already given the job to Bob Paisley.I think this is why Ferguson hung on so long in the U*d job, didn't want to make the same mistake..YNWA
Ferguson left Jocky out due to hatred of Liverpool. It has nothing to do with Manchester United. It started in 1980 when Ferguson was manager of Aberdeen. Ferguson was taught a harsh lesson at the feet of the master Bob Paisley in a European Cup game. Ferguson prior to the return leg at Anfield when they were 1-0 down boasted what they were going to do to Liverpool. However Bob Paisley being a genius decided to play mind games himself, his victim was Gordon Strachan. Bob decided to throw Strachan some 'toffee' as he called it. He made him lose focus by throwing him compliments. It worked a treat because Strachan never got a kick, Liverpool destroyed them and Ferguson was left with his tail between his legs. Sir Kenny got his own back on Ferguson in 1986 by pulling out of the Scotland squad in defence of Alan Hansen. This caused a mini feud that lasted until 1988. Ferguson was full of piss and wind and Sir Kenny 'The Prince of put-downs' landed an uppercut. Sir Kenny said 'Talk to my daughter (who was 6 weeks old), you'll get more sense out of her than you will out of him".
tremendous achievement by Liverpool!all those brilliant teams that season.they came from lower down the table.all those league games, scraping a point, coming from behind.going to replays in the fa cup and coming through or winning in extra time it's possibly the most remarkable season in the club's history it was so different than all their other title winning seasons!and 1988 and 1990 seemed to be nothing like that season either!
A great day. The likes of Lee, Gillespie, Wark, and especually the unused sub McMahon celebrating as if they'd played themselves. And whoever designed the new Wembley staircase needs to give their fee back, the old staircase up to the box was superb.
@@AshtonArcher Johnston offside when Rush shoots for the first and also gets the last touch over the line. Dalglish offside when Molby crosses to Johnston for the second. Good moves though.
Molby was only 22 then but already had a scouse accent!

35 years ago to the day!
When the FA cup meant something
Money has now killed the magic of the FA Cup.
Even in victory, Kenny still wanted to praise the opponent. What a gent 16:32
Racist old mingebag
Evertonian and I still loved this :)
Jan Molby, the most scouse Dane ever.
Why didn't sir Alex take Alan Hansen to the world cup he was a better player than Willie miller or Alex mcleish

@@superfirmino8882 Dalglish didn't pull out of the Scottish World Cup squad. He was injured. He said it himself in his autobiography.
What a gret Liverpool team and Everton weren't bad either golden days on Merseyside
11:34 and the Liverpool fans singing Shankly's name. That's class.
First match I watched live on the telly. Just turned 6 that April. In a month I'll be 40.
And hopefully Liverpool will be Champions again by then!
Awesome team that Liverpool team.

Great video this - didn't like the jobsworths pulling Kenny away from the celebrations though!

Mad how Aberdeen's second goal was virtually identical to Liverpool's!
The first two Liverpool goals were offside.
